Such a well thought out interior with everything you could possibly need. The views right off the porch were amazing to sit on every morning drinking coffee. Karon was in contact with me for any questions I had about the property and area. Highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing mini-vacation with family. Very relaxing and even though it was extremely hot and the wild fires were raging, we were still able to get in some fishing and relaxation. This place will not disappoint!

We had so much fun on this property. The view from the back porch is beautiful. Made many fun memories on our weekend getaway! Mrs. Karon was so pleasant to work with!

Host were very nice. They had a book with things you would need to know if you were not familiar with the area.

Our stay was overall amazing. Location of property allowed us to fish up to the cabin- go in for lunch and right back out out to fishing. We also took advantage of fishing Sam Rayburn nearby -about an hour away. Cabin was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Beds were super comfy and kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Back porch had a stunning view of the lake and perfect spot for morning coffee. Will def stay again

Beautiful place. The weather was perfect and we caught over 5 bass and many bream from the dock. Mrs. Karon was accommodating and kind. Off the grid and super well supplied. Will go again.

We take several trips a year from Central Texas over to East Texas to fish. The hosts were fantastic great communication,, The house was very nice, really clean, great location, i will say if you want to use the neighborhood launch you need 4 wheel drive and good ground clearance. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone who likes to fish the south End of Toledo Bend.

This property is fantastic! Beautiful view of the lake, and unexpected bird watching. Not a camp, but a home on the lake! Everything we needed to be comfortable. We will return!

We so enjoyed our stay at this property. It is in a very quiet part of the lake, the house was perfect, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. Best part is that the owners allow pets so we were able to bring our two fur babies with us. We would highly recommend this property.

Very nice house! Lots of extra amenities that made our stay easier if we forgot something. Use of the kayaks were great! Nice and clean. Very large table that allowed for our whole family to sit together and play games. Being able to wash our muddy clothes right away instead of carrying them home that way was great! A/c works great! They thought of everything. Most places have minimal kitchen ware but this place had just about anything you might need. The only thing we had to get extra of was toilet paper. 4 rolls for 10 guests for 3 nights just wasn’t enough. Other than that could not have asked for better! Beautiful property right on the lake. What else could you ask for?

This property is absolutely amazing! It was the perfect weekend getaway. The house was very clean, well furnished, and stocked. The view of the water was just as beautiful from inside of the house as it was outside. It was nice to be able to fish right off the dock and have kayaks available. The area is very quiet and the neighbors are pleasant. The host is wonderful as well. I highly recommend this property.

We rented this property for a short “staycation”. We live about 35 miles away, but we wanted to explore Toledo, bring our boat with us, and enjoy relaxing with a waterfront location. The house was well appointed with everything that we needed. We cooked all of our meals there and the property is well stocked. We were all amazed at how comfortable the beds and linens were. The deck and grounds were beautiful. We spent most of the time out on the porch. We were able to put our boat in about 5 miles down the street at the public ramp and drive it right to the house to pick up our parents who were staying with us. We can’t wait to return for a longer stay. Don’t hesitate to rent this property!

Great place to stay ! Off the beaten path, tucked away in a peaceful cove at the bottom of Toledo Bend. The property is very spacious, with an awesome front porch to relax. The house is very well decorated and layed out. We caught several white perch and bass right off the dock, and roasted marshmallows on the fire pit out front. FYI make sure you bring your groceries, because it's a bit of a drive to the store.

I would highly recommend staying here. It has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Lots to do, we fished off the pier, enjoyed kayaking and s’mores on the fire pit in the evening’s . The home was nicely decorated for Christmas which made our stay that much more festive. And to sum it up you couldn’t ask for a better host! Thank you, we hope to see you again.

Everything was great! Property was beautiful with absolutely gorgeous views from the windows. Back yard that slopes to the waterfront. Very peaceful. Fished off the dock and kayaked. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean!

We enjoyed are stay , beautiful scenery and very relaxing. We loved kayaking and fishing and just spending time as a family.

From the first communication with the owners this location can be above 5 stars if we could go that high. The location is beautiful, the yard and waterfront area is huge, the cabin was spotless when we arrived and everything was provided to keep us stocked throughout our stay. We will use this for family gatherings and vacations. Thanks to the owners for their flexibility and dedication to provide value for your money. I would recommend anyone stay here but not when we want to book it! We will be back.

Beautiful location. The house is beautiful. The neighbors are nice. Fishing and swimming and kayaking was so much fun.

The home is beautiful and roomy. The upstairs loft is a little scary if you have small Children with you. The kitchen is well equipped. I would have liked an outdoor table and chairs on the beautiful covered porch. The view is amazing and we were able to swim right there.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view. On a quiet spot on the lake, with nice neighbors. Great place to take the kids to unplug from the electronics and go fishing. The home owners were super nice if we needed anything and very easy to get ahold of. Definitely recommend staying here.

The property is beautiful and in a great location. We had so much fun swimming and fishing from the pier. Thr big covered back porch was great for taking in the sunrise and for enjoying the view. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. The house had everything we needed for our week getaway! The 3 kayaks were an added bonus.
