My husband and I wanted to have a once in a lifetime vacation to celebrate our family that had not been together for over two years. The Starfish provided the perfect backdrop to this celebration. There were 10 adults and two children (two and 4 months old). From the moment I walked in the door I knew we had made the perfect choice. The house was so beautifully decorated for the holiday season. There was a beautiful Christmas tree and birds of paradise arrangements that took my breath away. The outside grounds had sparkling lights on the trees and in the courtyard. It was truly magical. Walking in we were greeted by the staff and welcome drinks. After reading each and every review prior to arriving I felt like I knew the staff. I continuously read the words amazing, special, warm, caring, extraordinary and could not wait to meet them all. To a person the staff lived up to this praise. For this group exceeding expectations was the norm. The first day we were there I met with Maisey and Roc to discuss food and excursions. For me this was a daunting task. They just made it so easy. After short conversations they just got me and what I was looking for. The meals Maisey prepared were delicious. She was sensitive to our dietary restrictions and was able to create meals for all of us. Our two-year-old fell in love with her. Rochester wore so many hats. Consulting with him about things to do was invaluable. He gave great advice about excursions and scheduled transportation to these places. He ensured that we were comfortable, and that meals were served and presented in a way that would complement the food (Not easy to do considering the food was so phenomenal). Roc was also our bartender concocting the most delicious drinks we could have asked for. There was some of my group that just wanted to stay back so they wouldn't miss a drink or a meal. Tisa and Nicky worked behind the scenes and provided some surprises and help that were invaluable to our stay. The house and grounds were gorgeous. It was set up perfectly for the young kids. My grandson would go to the beach first thing every morning to see fish and play in the sand with the numerous toys provided. Finally, Anne herself answered our questions quickly and that was so appreciated since we were traveling with young kids. The memories our family has and the ability to reconnect from this incredible stay will last a lifetime. Thank you!!

Our multi generational family (Age range 2-69) stayed at the starfish for a week and it was an amazing vacation. The home is beautiful with indoor/outdoor living with more than enough room for our group of 10. Mazie, the house chef, is truly special. She is an extraordinary cook and such a warm and caring person. She amazed us every meal with her passion for cooking and managed all of our picky eaters and food allergy with ease. Rock, the butler, had the table set every meal with a different theme and made awesome drinks and helped with any excursions we wanted to do. We wanted to explore the island so did hire a driver to golf, go to Dunns River Falls, Martha Brae, Rockland Bird Sanctuary and Glistening Waters(so cool!). We also rented the boat for a half day and highly recommend that as well!! The starfish and most importantly the amazing staff including they laundress and maid truly took care of everything, you really never needed to leave. It was an amazing vacation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I don't even know where to start! This has been one of the best vacations I've ever taken! We were 9 in our mommy and me group and from the minute we stepped foot on the property we were blown away! The house is gorgeous with amazing views of the ocean, spacious, clean and airy with room for everyone. The pictures are lovely but it really does not do this property justice, you have to see it in person to truly appreciate it's beauty. So after saying all of that I think the best part of the house is Maize and Roc! I have never been so pampered, Maize's food is better than any 5 star restaurant and Roc is a master at what he does! He catered to both adults and kids without missing a beat. Whatever we needed, he made happened. I can't say enough about this vacation, it exceeded my wildest expectations. I am truly grateful for this amazing experience!

The house is beautiful as is the garden. The service is five star, Mazie and Rock are awesome and they couldn't do enough for us, including getting a guitar for my son-in-law to play during our stay. The food was amazing and Mazie accommodated all our dietary restrictions. We can't wait to return to the Starfish!

This property is beautiful and is in a perfect location! Mazie and Rock are the absolute best- we invited them to come visit us in coastal NC. Everything was wonderful! I’m ready to go back!

We just returned from an incredible week at Starfish Villa. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and the views from each room and dock are breathtaking. We were totally spoiled my Mazie’s delicious meals and Rochester’s amazing drinks and smoothies. Nicky and Tisa kept everything clean and organized. Starfish Villa is a beautiful property with an amazing staff. We loved dining outdoors for all our delicious Chef Mazie meals. We enjoyed adult and kid versions of Roc’s delicious beverages. We all enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking in our cove and spotted lots of sea creatures. The landscaping and floral arrangements and table settings were gorgeous. We are happy we took the boat excursion to Doctors Cave. And our massages were money well spent. The staff was so gracious to all, including the young kids. Highly recommend this villa!

Starfish Villa is perfection. The house is beautifully laid out. There are gathering areas for a multigenerational group to find their spots. Early morning yoga on the deck - Paddle boats and kayaks on the smooth morning water - The afternoon winds allowed time to wing on a foil. Reading time in the comfortable Adirondack chairs on the beach or deck. Floating or Marco Polo in the pool. We did it all! Maizi reminded us that the important parts of any trip are the memories. She is so right! She and Rock helped those memories by always taking care of our needs. Food Amazing! Drinks Rocking! Part of our yearly family trip has always involved a new location to experience. We will be back to Starfish Villa. Thank you Anne and Family for allowing us to visit - we feel like family!

day & although this was not a starfish issue, as a welcome & first class hospitality - they arranged for a free sunset boat ride. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with love, a smile & music from Amazing Mazie & her team! I had researched all that I wanted to do ahead of time & and Rock the butler & I should add the drink extraordinaire ( hands down best drinks & smoothies) coordinated all of our events with ease (and they were a handful of events). You also have the option to secure a driver per/activity or for 5-7 days. We opted for the 5 day rental - the driver Rock secured for us was also kind & brought us home safely every night! I love to learn culture & the history of places I visit; our driver knew so much about Jamaica - you would’ve thought he was a historian! We booked Mazie for all our meals for the week & boy she did not disappoint! She even packed lunch for us on those days we were out exploring. Dinner was set at the dock with beautiful lights on our last night there. An added surprise was when we walked into EACH of our bedrooms decorated with love! This team goes above & beyond! The beds were made every day, house was cleaned, and laundry completed with ease. We will definitely be returning to enjoy more days at the Villa! For you parents out there, my teen boys loved every minute of the trip! We’ve made friends for life! <3

The stunning villa was beautifully decorated and the perfect size for a group of seven people. Everyone went out of their way to make our vacation special. Everything ran seamlessly, from the initial reservation with Anne, to the arrival at StarFish, to the professional staff at the villa, and sadly our departure after our seven day visit. We enjoyed the delicious meals and desserts prepared by Mazie, the drinks and scheduled activities made by Roc, and the impeccable housekeeping services. Each staff member went out of their way to make our trip memorable and we really appreciated it and did not want to leave. We were able to relax poolside, we rented the gorgeous boat and went snorkeling, as well as visited Dr. Caves beach. You can do as much or as little as you want. We used the provided kayaks and paddleboards to explore and enjoyed the stunning sunsets from the villa. The grounds were well maintained with beautiful flowers especially the cascading pink bougainvillea tree. The only slight downfall was the beach behind the property. The water was cloudy at times and some areas of the bottom were slippery. This did not damper our experience because the villa offered everything you could want and more!

We stayed at the Starfish villa for 10 nights. Our party included 6 adults and 5 children. There was plenty of space for our entire group. We enjoyed our vacation immensely. Yes, the property is lovely, however the staff is what made our vacation unforgettable. Maize and Roc were fantastic! Mazie is an amazing chef. She made us the most delicious meals. Her cooking is better than any restaurant around. Her famous bread pudding is a must try! Roc provided us with excellent service. He is more than a host/butler. He does it all! He made us feel at home from the minute we walked through the door. Not only did he prepare the most delicious drinks (for adults and kids) he helped us book our excursions and addressed every question or concern we had. We enjoyed the private boat so much we took it out twice. Water tubing was also a fun experience. The 90-minute massage was heavenly. The staff really made us feel at home. Roc quickly learned all of our children’s names and how to put a smile on their faces. Our kids will forever be craving his milkshakes. He made an rum version too that was to die for! Roc and Maize are truly wonderful people and masters of their craft. It was the best vacation we've had to date and we owe it to the entire staff. Thank you for making us feel like family! Rock (the head butler) is FANTASTIC. He helps with excursion planning, transportation, using the boat not to mention he is a master mixologist! Nikki and the housekeeping staff tidied our room in the mornings with turn down service in the evenings they will even launder your clothing throughout your stay. Captain Allen is a skilled captain of the boat available should you choose to fish, snorkel or go for a cruise on a very spacious and well kept boat by him and his first mate Nicholas (also a very skilled fisherman.) we left with all of them feeling like family and this vacation rental a home. We will most definitely be back!

All I can say is wow we had the best vacation ever. We were all very nervous about traveling during Covid and all the restrictions, but it was all worth it. The house is amazing! Mazie, Rock and the cleaning staff went above and beyond to make us feel pampered everyday. After this stay I don't believe we will ever go anywhere else.
