The cabin is as listed. I had read the reviews about having to park at the top of the hill and walk down to the cabin, and you do! You cannot drive up to the door of the cabin! You park up in the parking spot provided and walk down a gravel path to the cabin. The cabin itself is cozy. The futon inside has seen better days, but we had no use for it anyway, but there is also a love seat to sit on. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. Everything is provided, so that was really nice. We only needed our toiletries, and food. We had a really great time while we were there!

Check in was easy. It was a fun one road trip to the top then when arrived cabin was down hill a bit and inside was beautiful cedar all over! Amazing view of the woods. Hot tub was clean and the colorful hot tub lights made it one awesome night on the deck! Definitely will be back!

My sister, brother and I took our mom on a train ride in Nelsonville. The cabin was close and affordable. My mom still talking about how cute it was and wanted to bring it home with us 😂. I should have paid more attention during booking, but the parking area down to the actual cabin was a little steep. Mom done well with her cane, we held onto her, but others may have a little more of a problem. Just be aware. Definitely not no one's fault but my own. I should have been more mindful of my mom's situation.

The unit was dirty! It looked like someone or thing had walked on the loveseat with dirty feet. The kitchen drawers were dirty and filled with mouse turds. The hot tub wasn't on and do we turned it on as soon as we got there and it was finally usable at 11:30pm. The furnace kept turning off so we checked the filter and it was filthy. We cleaned it out and the furnace stayed on the rest of the night. We had to buy an antenna in town to be able to watch the TV. A horrible rental experience.

Had a great time at this cabin. It’s cozy and the hot tub was very enjoyable for this time of year. The entrance to the cabin (dump yard) was a bit of a surprise but nothing horrible. Definitely would come back!

Cabin was overall nice, close to everything which was an added bonus. Could use a good cleaning and some gravel laid on the drive.

The cabin was very “in the woods.” The TV color was red and green mostly and no cable. They did have some old DVDs. Bring some of your own if you like to watch TV. Wi-Fi didn’t work very well. Loved the hot tub. I think the cabin was suited more for 4 or less people, not up to 6. The couch was very old and the futon was partially broke. The air conditioner in the living area was partially broke because it would stop in the middle of the night with a CH on it. Luckily it wasn’t terribly hot for us. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive as the gravel road can be steep and if it’s wet, a little slippery. I liked that it was very close to all that we wanted to do.

There were no utensils, dirty towel, mold/soggy floor in bathroom, drawer in kitchen has eaten sauce packets and mouse droppings in it. Well water so when the electricity went out when it stormed, the pump to well didn’t work either, so we had no electricity and no water. Everything is slightly damp- they needs dehumidifier in tbere and check for cracks and fix bathroom mold

Cute from the outside but in desperate need of so many things. Mattresses are older than I am. you can feel every coil in your spine. soft spots in the bathroom floor. appears to be black mold under kitchen sink. spiders EVERYWHERE. the home right as you approach blue rose cabins looks like someone is operating a meth lab so that was concerning and made me feel very unsafe. a few things that I did like: kitchen supplies were handy (even had a crock pot), hot tub was glorious, decent DVD collection for the night time. we ended up leaving a day early and won’t return.

Beautiful country view of nothing but woods all around and deck with hot tub was amazing! Also enjoyed cooking out on the grill and loved the fire pit! Was very peaceful and relaxing,perfect for a change of scenery and something different to do.thankyou!

Perfect for hikers who want to jump in the hot tub to loosen up and sit by the fire at night. Was great for the 3 nights we stayed. Not much storage room, but then again we overpacked. Definitely drive an SUV to the site it’s a bit of a challenge for a car.

My husband and I needed a quiet cabin for a quick get away in Hocking Hills. This cabin was close to everything we planned from off-roasting to dinner! The hot tub was the perfect way to end our night with relaxation and quality time. Thank you to the host for an amazing, clean cabin!

Cabin was cute. A bit rough getting there a bit worried about getting stuck in the “driveway” for our cabin. Disappointed with how many cabins were clustered so close. No privacy at all in the hot tub. Luckily we didn’t need it. Beds were very worn and uncomfortable. We didn’t get much sleep sadly. When looking for cookware to make breakfast we realized the lower cabinets were musty, moldy and filled with mouse droppings. At that point we just packed up and notified the managment what we found.

The hot tub looked nasty they came rivht away to clean the hot tub drained dipped the rest of the water out with a skillet wow then rinsed it off and put it back up in the cabnet the beds was not good the beds never got clean sheets mold in the bathroom all in all had an amazing time hikking but not at cabin nasty

This was a comfortable size for a family of four. There were two kids age 8 and 10, 1 dog and 2 adults. PROS: *2 separate bedrooms each with door *Fully equipped kitchen with appliances and utensils. (Some pots and pans). *Hot tub on deck *Bluerose Cabins in general is a convenient location *nice fire pit area. Stumps as benches CONS: *A few cabins within Bluerose could've been more private. *It is hilly! BUT we were warned coming in and it was just as described and as we expected. . -we printed off the paperwork with directions ahead of time and really had no issues getting there, checking in. -we got cell reception just fine even though we weren't expecting to. Overall we enjoyed our stay, got some hiking in and used hot tub.
