This condo was in a great location for the slopes! Our family really liked having access to the garage to store skis and boots. Everything inside was fully stocked and easy to find. The main heater was great to warm the entire condo. However, there was a slight smell of smoke and the downstairs bathroom had a strong musty smell that we could also smell in the kitchen. The pillows weren’t good and some of the bedding was worn out. The coffee pot appeared to be stained, but actually just needed a good cleaning. We had to clean some of the dishes and pots before using them as well. The owner responded quickly and allowed us to check in a little early which was very nice! They were very accommodating! Lots of storage and places to hang ski coats and bibs. Overall it was a decent place to stay.

First time to NM Angel Fire for skiing (for most of us) had a party of 10 and we had room for everyone. Enjoyed our stay :-)

We were impressed with the attention to detail, the ease in communicating with the owner and manager, and with having everything we needed to feel at home and enjoy our ski trip! This is a great location and our teens could come and go by catching the shuttle bus which took them right to the main lift at Angel Fire!!!

This place was perfect location, close to ski area and restaurants! It was very well equipped with everything thing you needed! It will always hold a very special place in my heart because we found out we were going to be grandparents again! Hope to be back next year with our new grand baby!!! F

The condo has a cabin feel and was very clean and perfectly located for skiing in Angel Fire. We had an impression from the online pics that it would be larger than it actually was, however, it was plenty big for our family of 5 that stayed. It could have accommodated even more if needed. It was set up with all amenities and the owners were very kind and responsive. The balcony and view is nice We very much enjoyed the stay.

Everything was great.

The property owner was extremely helpful and considerate, with the NM restrictions and unknowns. We booked far in advance, so we were unaware of the future restrictions. Last year we stayed at the lodge, thinking the ski-in/ski-out option would be best. Wrong! There are so many stairs between the lifts and the lodge. The bus stop is literally right outside this condo’s front door. And the bus drops you off right at the Chili Express. Couldn’t have asked for more convenience.

Wonderful, clean place with very responsive hosts. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Rental was just as described. Nice, clean and Cozy. We had seven in our group and it was a perfect fit for us. Ski slopes close by and shuttle runs every 20 minutes. Plenty of things to do and good places to eat. I give it 5 stars.

Great ski condo, Kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials (Pots, Pans, Utensils, Bowls, Etc.). Comfortable beds. Loved the grill on the porch. Ski shuttle pickup right across the street. Just call the shuttle number and they are there in minutes. *Note: Shuttle drivers work for tips.

Great location!!! Condo was within walking distance to shops, food, and lifts!! Condo was cozy with plenty of room for my family of 4 and two grandparents!! Check in process was super easy. Use of garage was a big plus for those cold mornings!! Only slightly lower marks for some outdated furnishings and appliances that need updating! Would stay again!!

The overall experience was very nice accommodations and location were superb. Only critique is signage identifying the property was difficult and heat was a bit excessive even for the winter

I don't want to give a bad review by any means because we had a great time. There were just a couple of things I wish had been better. It's an older building, so it could use a little bit of a face lift. Trying to control the temperature was pretty hard. The downstairs bedroom was freezing at night, while the upstairs bedrooms were burning up. Also the railing upstairs, in the loft, is a liability and totally not to code. A child can fit right through it and fall. I would either add more wooden slats or put a piece of Plexiglas in front of it, or maybe just completely close in the loft all together because it's too loud when you are trying to sleep.

The condo and location were perfect for our little family get away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Cozy and enough room for our group! Excellent location - easy walk to transit bus/ski rental areas. Lots of Restaurants in walking distance as well! Having a garage was great for my diesel truck and it’s well insulated. I would do business with this owner again !!

The cabin is as advertised. A little dated but does the job. The beds were not incredibly comfortable but I’m a little picky when it comes to beds. Location is phenomenal. Walk to slopes or catch shuttle just outside front door. Plenty of fire wood made me a hero w fam once I got the fire started.... Will not wait another 6 yrs to return to Angel Fire.

The rental was exactly as portrayed in the listing. We enjoyed having “little extras” like a hot tea selection and scented soaps!

We loved our stay at the Sol Escape while visiting Angel Fire over Christmas! We loved the close proximity to the slopes. The shuttle pickup/drop off was literally across the street from the condo. This was so convenient! We also really liked that we were able to use the garage at your place. It was so great being able to unhook our mini cargo trailer & leave it parked there during our stay. Overall, the Sol Escape was perfect for our family! We would highly recommend it to others. We would definitely stay there again! Blessings from Oklahoma!

Location is great. Pretty easy walk to base of mountain. DVD selection and games were great. Bathrooms were good. The furniture is on the older side but it is exactly as represented in the photos. Only drawbacks were the smell and noise from neighbors. The walls are paperthin and there is a long term tenant in the apartment below the 2nd floor bedroom. You can hear a fair amount of noise from people talking and smell a cigarette smoke odor in that same part of the Condo. Hopefully that will be resolved before the next guests arrive to sol escape.

With 6 adults, 2 teens & 1 child it still felt roomy!!

Condo worked out perfectly. Room for all of us and everything we needed. Clean, roomy, and convenient to slopes.

The home had everything you needed. We had so much fun playing games. We will definitely plan on coming back and letting our family and friends know to stay here. Want to thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful vacation home.

This place was a pleasure to stay at for our New Years ski vacation. Just the right size for our family group of 9. Had plenty of space for everyone. Beds were surprisingly very comfortable. Having the garage for ski storage was a big plus. Was well stocked with firewood, linens, towels, etc. The location was perfect. Ski shuttle stopped outside our door quite regular. This was really handy so we could come and go to slopes as desired. When we make it back to Angel Fire, we will certainly try and reserve this condo again. Was a perfect place to stay.

This place was a home away from home. It was very comfortable, accommodating in many ways, and had a beautiful view. Although we rented a car, it is in walking distance of local restaurants and grocery shopping. Shuttle to slopes stops just a few feet away from condo. This was our first time in Angel Fire and we had lots of fun skiing and sightseeing. Our family of 6 enjoyed staying here and we have plans to return to this very spot. The condo was very roomy and clean. It was nice to have many necessities on hand at time of arrival. We also appreciated the games and DVD's available. Our kiddos love playing games so this came in handy. Probably one of my favorite features was the practicality of leaving behind what we did not use and the hospitality offfered to use what had been left behind. We would definitely recommend staying here to others!!!

We travel to Angel Fire, N.M. every January for our annual Craft family ski trip. Our family has outgrown the condo we usually stay in so we searched for the perfect condo for our family to stay in this year. Sol Escape was exactly what we needed to make our stay a memory making one! It was very nice and kept up and close to the slopes. We were able to get out and walk to the slopes as well as a few shops. We loved Sol Escape and will definitely book it again for our annual ski trip next January:).

Had a great 4 night ski vacation at solar escape. Great condo, great location at Angel Fire. Friendly and helpful communication from the owners. Only slight complaint is that the Murphy bed in the loft just wasn't comfortable and the thin flat pillows didn't help. That's just a nit though. We had a great time and will be back if we go to Angel Fire again.
