The cabin is nice, clean, rustic, scenic and quiet.

The cabin was clean and nice. Quiet and serene. We saw deer on the check in and as we were leaving in the morning. It was austere with no internet/wifi. The road up to the cabin is very hilly and difficult. We were there in perfect weather and in a truck and we wondered how we would get to the cabin in difficult weather. The road is noted on the confirmation, but I don't recall if it is noted as a warning before confirmation.

This was a great stay. If you are looking for a pot with in minutes from Hocking Hills Blue Rose Cabins are worth checking into. The only trouble we had was, my car was unable to get u the washed out road with huge stones. I called and they were happy to put us in a empty cabin.

We loved staying here! It was perfect. Enough in the woods to relax and close enough to everything. The hot tub & it being dog friendly really made our stay. Also very clean!

Easy check in delivered to email for a private weekend getaway never bothered by anyone the hill to get back to the further cabins is fairly steep be prepared to be as expected at a cabin in the woods

We knew this cabin was small and rustic, and it fit our needs for a two night stay okay. But other than the exterior photos, the pictures of this cabin on the VRBO website were not of Wildwoods and we were not expecting what we got. The cabin is only one-room with a separate toilet room and a shower in the corner of the main room. It was not a separate bathroom. The deck was small (the hot tub took up most of the room) and the two chairs were plastic chairs you'd find in a church basement for fellowship meetings. The gas grill and hot tub worked perfectly and we enjoyed both on both nights. We also had a fire both nights in the fire ring. The road getting to the cabin is one-lane gravel (thank goodness we didn't encounter a car coming the opposite direction) and at some points is at quite a steep grade. My husband had to do some maneuvering to get up the hills in our Camry, but we made it. 4 wheel drive would have helped.

Stay was awesome. We will definitely come again. Road was a little bad from the winter, but they were fixing it as we left.

The property is a beautiful piece of land, however you have to enter in from rt 664 passing a very nasty looking junkyard/home that borders the cabins property. The cabins were as clean as can be expected for in the woods. We wiped down counters and things we used prior to us using it. The hot tub looked brand new and was operational. The appliances were rusty, the bathroom sink area had broken caulking around it, the bed was almost on the floor and very uncomfortable, the couch was leatherette covered with a cloth cover because of ripped arms and back, the kitchenette table was ok, the chairs would not hold a large person, the back deck was private and uncovered, the front porch was covered. The roads in were uncared for and full of terrible pot holes, trash all along the sides and broken glass on one stretch. The road in is in/out with a tight turn around at the bottom of a steep hill. Large trucks fit, but tight. It is very quiet there, just could use some TLC in our opinion and definitely some clean up and road maintenance.

The trash at the corner of Phelps Rd doesn’t give a very good first impression but overall the cabin was very nice and we enjoyed the hot tub. This was our 2nd stay at a Blue Rose cabin. We will be back again.

The hot tub was the high light. We sat in it at night and looked up at all of the stars twinkling.
The cabin is small, but sufficient. The temp was set at 60*when we arrived, but it was a small so it heated it up quickly. It had a cute little "fire place" heater. I think it had room for a queen bed, instead of the full size. There was not a lot of support in the bed. I'm glad I only slept there one night.

The original cabin we rented(wildwoods) had a hot tub that was cold. So we notified Kim, and she upgraded us to a much bigger cabin with a working hot tub. Thank you for a great stay!

Small yet all you need for an overnight getaway! Pet friendly was appreciated! Hot tub was clean and a highlight. Make sure you have at least all wheel drive and in winter 4 wheel drive. Steep driveway but worth it.

I tried calling 2 times to verify my reservation no return call. I got a confirmation for one cabin the first night we had another couple show up to stay in the same cabin. There was a miscommunication which would not of happened if I would have gotten a call

This cabin was perfect for out weekend getaway. Just a few miles from the state park, which is free to visit and dog friendly. The cabin location was secluded for the most part. We could see our neighbors car and hear voices but thats it. We loved our time away from home and our dog loved running through the woods. The hot tub was hot and clean and AMAZING! We plan on going back in the spring.
Recommendation:
4WD is a good idea. Parts of the driveway were pretty steep. While we were at the park hiking it rained and the rocks were slippery and wet. Had to use 4WD to get back to the cabin.
Bring a few towels. Towels were provided but we used them and the few i brought with us also.
Oven is tiny so dont plan on baking anything too big.
Blanket on the bed is thin. Temp got down to 45 and im glad i brought another blanket. There is a heater but we like to sleep in the cold with extra blankets.
Only 2 chairs on the deck and 2 at the fire ring so you might want to bring a few more if you are planning on visitors.
Follow the directions that come in the email sent by the owners. GPS will take you to the wrong place. Also, dont try to find the driveway in the dark. Its the mountains so the roads are full of curves and hills so it can be pretty tricky if you dont know where you are going.
Cell service is spotty. Its the mountains so thats to be expected. No wifi at the cabin.
Overall these cabins are nice and clean and a great price. We will visit again.

The cabin was very nice and clean. The road it’s on was a little steep but we made it in fine.

A beautiful spot nestled in the woods in the rolling hills. We did not have time to enjoy all the amenities because we stayed only one night. The glow-in-the dark toilet seat made a perfect nightlight!

The driveway leading to the cabins's is just plain awful. We have a King Ranch and even with that in 4 wheel drive , we still had a lot of issues with deep ruts. There are so many chemicals in the hot tub our eyes are burning and the whole inside smells like a musty basement.

We stayed in the Wildwoods cabin which was very secluded and peaceful. As others have stated the road terrain is a little rough but not horrible. Bed was extreamly comfortable and even thought there is no cable we watched DVD,s and was able to smart view our cellphone using our AT&T service and the smart. Hot tub was amazing! Could have used just a few more kitchen bakeware. Would recommend this cabin!

I needed “me” time. Twenty-four hours of reflection and peace. Far from everything and everyone while I listened to my favorite music and wrote in my journal. Can’t wait for my next sabbatical.

It was quiet and relaxing.

We were pleased with the place. Quiet and comfortable. The single room accomodations fit out needs. I would suggest change out the carpet you use on the front step and back deck. They were not outside carpets so they were drenched and dirty. Otherwise we were very comfortable.

The property was nice, back up in the woods for privacy. In my opinion it was centrally located to everything that we was there to do.
I would stay there again, it was the right size for 2 people. Only issue I had was with the size of the bed, it was a full size bed and for two adults it was kinda small and no light in the shower.
The hot tube was awesome and with no internet it made it easy to get away from everything and just relax. I have already recommended the cabins to some friends to check out.

When we got there the house cleaner obviously just left, the floor looked like someone poured a gallon of bleach water on it. At 11:30 pm it was still wet. There was no mop to clean it up, when it dried out socks were black.
No pots or pans to speak of, 1 small pot and 4 crappy skillets, 1 collender.
The seating was a love seat with a cover over it.
Hot tub has so much chlorine it burns your eyes
Back deck is slimy with moss
No cable which is fine but movies are old and outdated, the DVD player might work and it might not.
The location is good, it's nice and quiet.

It was a very nice place and location. Only a couple of maintenance issues inside the cabin.

The cabin was exactly as shown on the listing. One room cabin with kitchen, a tv and couch, full sized bed, and a separate bathroom. The grill and hot tub worked well and everything was clean when we checked in.
It made for a very cozy, romantic stay

Tucked away from the road (glad we drove my AWD SUV for the terrain) and close to attractions we were interested visiting. The hot tub was a nice touch to the evening(s). Check in was a breeze and appreciate the solitude. The only thing would be, updating the bed, it short even for my girlfriend whose 5'5" and wasnt the most comfortable. Other than that, was amazing time and would visit again.

The power was out. And the bedding smelled. So we left after being there an hour. Not impressed. Not at all.

We loved the cabin! Hot tub worked well, everything was really clean. Grill had no propane tank so we couldn’t cook outdoors. We loved our stay, thank you!!

Nice place. I do recommend a 4 wheel drive or suv, the roadway to the cabins are outback and rough. Quiet and a nice view of the stars from the hot tub.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here! It was quaint enough and absolutely wonderful! Close enough to town and hiking. We had a great time! We did have to leave Saturday afternoon instead of Sunday due to a family emergency at home, but we hope to come back again! We loved it!
