The property was very clean and within walking distance to downtown shoppes and the Dinner Train. The host was very helpful and had great communication.

Our love for bourbon brought us to Bardstown. We enjoyed our time in your beautiful home. We would definitely stay again. Your hospitality was above and beyond and appreciated your welcome snack basket and bottled water.

Nice central location. Great home base while discovering the bourbon trail. Highly recommend for a family of 4. Museums and restaurants are in walking distance. Hosts are local and responsive.

The house was charming, walking distance to downtown, parking was easy and very clean. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch with my morning coffee.

Romantic historic cottage (with all amenities) with historic charm. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and everything you could want. Very clean, well maintained and awesome property. Everything about is great, I would recommend removing the political candidate sign out of front yard.

The Millstone Cottage is all that is reported. The owner has done a fantastic job of making the property welcoming and stylish. An alternative to staying in a cramped hotel room that is a winner every time. I highly recommend any of the owner’s properties.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the charming cottage for Derby Week. While it still has plenty of character, the updated kitchen and bathroom add to the comfort. Enjoyed relaxing in the back yard patio after a busy day. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Exactly what we were lookkng for. Thank you WHP.

The cottage was very nice and clean and was in a great location. We enjoyed being able to walk to all the downtown restaurants. Bardstown is a nice getaway location for exploring The Bourbon Trail.

We very much enjoyed our stay!! Loved how close the cottage is to downtown and the museums, it was nice to be able to walk to dinner or to visit the shops in historic Bardstown. Cottage is very nicely updated, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is nicely appointed and as others have commented the bathroom is large. It was also quiet at night!

We were very comfortable in Millstone cottage, it is cozy and full of history with pictures, relics and local pottery. The kitchen is large and easy to work in and around. The bathroom is huge, the updates are great. We enjoyed being able to easily walk to downtown and found great restaurants. Only two things, we didn't realize that bathroom and kitchen access were through the main bedroom. (Fortunately we were traveling with very good friends.)The kitchen counter stools were charming, but very uncomfortable. Thank you Margaret!

House is just a couple of blocks from all the shops and restaurants in the heart of Bardstown. We did a lot of walking all over town. When we got back to the house in the evening, we found the house very comfortable. The front room furniture was much more comfortable than I was expecting.. the beds very relaxing to our weary bodies. The one bed was a little high but I felt like a princess up there. I highly recommend this house. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. The cottage was close to everything we wanted to do in Bardstown, the Distillery’s were great.

Very nice. Would love to know what the original rooms were compared to what the rooms are now. Would like to see a table and chairs added somewhere so we could play cards/games. Everything was very nice and we enjoyed a comfy stay. Thank you!

My husband and I planned a mini getaway to visit the distilleries on the Bourbon trail. After a couple days in a hotel in Lexington, this cottage was the perfect end to our trip. Felt very cozy and was within walking distance to several places for meals and local shopping. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for some comfort and small town charm along the bourbon trail!

We really enjoyed being so close to downtown Bardstown, it was nice being able to walk to all the restaurants and shops nearby. Also the museums just down the street are great!

This sweet historic house was perfect for our quick stay in Bardstown. It was within walking distance to the city center and local parks. The inside was a great combination of old historic and newly remodeled. The fully stocked kitchen was perfect for dinners at home and we enjoyed coffee in the super cute back porch area. I would recommend this quaint house to anyone visiting the bourbon trial.

The house was a great location to see many things - from the bourbon trail, Mammoth Caves, to the historical locations. My mom and I stayed for 6 days and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was a delight to cook in. The privacy of the rooms could be a concern for some.

We had a fabulous stay in Bardstown! Almost everything in town was within walking distance and the cottage offered perfect character for the area. The only thing that got us was a lack of bedroom doors for privacy. Our family had to change in the bathroom and the kids had to walk through our room for the bathroom and kitchen which meant no adult privacy. A fair trade considering the location and presentation of the cottage.

Property was a home run! Had a great time! House had everything we needed and was in a great location to most of the town's attractions, many in walking distance. Very clean with very comfortable bed and awesome bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Loved sitting on the front porch watching the people go by.

The cottage is as pictured, beautiful features and furniture, very clean and loaded with perks from the hostess such as chilled bottled water, snack basket and bourbon coffee. Both the back yard patio and the front porch are great for outside enjoyment. Location is ideal for dining, shopping and museums but is a little close to a noisy, high traffic road.

We loved the little pink house ( insert John cougar melloncamp song ) and the little town . There is a great burbon distillery in town and we had fun walking around Bardstown!

This was the perfect cottage for our ongoing bourbon trail adventure. Clean home, well equipped kitchen, awesome bathroom with jetted tub, great location and the owner was great with communication. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for the memories.
