We live in Santa Rosa and arranged to meet our son, who lives in LA, somewhere along the Central Coast. This place is a great location, not far from the beach and close to SLOtown. The place is comfortable, spacious and quiet.

The property was exactly as described, and had even more nice extra amenities than we could have imagined. We loved our time there and both the house and the outdoor space was perfect for two couples and our dog. TJ was very responsive even though we only had one minor question. Awesome place!

This property was wonderful.... Exceptionally clean, fully stocked and a wonderful host/owner. It was a great location for the dunes, beach, wineries, etc. Stayed for a month and truly enjoyed it!

Very clean and nice place to stay

The property was very clean and equipped . It even had an ice machine. It was very quiet. Since our host was right next door, the two questions we had were easily answered.

The location was great and convenient to other family members. It was equipped with everything we needed . I especially liked the bikes and helmets and the washer and dryer. There was room to entertain others with the 2 areas in the yard. Instructions were excellent and so helpful .

TJ was fantastic. Just like a friend, this home was clean, organized and had everything you could ever possibly need! She is a traveler herself so she knows what folks need when they stay somewhere. I had forgotten a couple of things and low & behold, TJ had stocked it in the home already! One of these things was believe or not.... Coffee, but hey! she had it right there on the counter! Woo Hoo! Go TJ! Yep, the absolute best vacation rental I've ever stayed at. We will be back!!! Tell your friends, this is the best of the best at a great price!

We had lived on the central coast for 5 years earlier and our stay at the Pelican House made it so easy for us to visit friends and places we loved. I would recommend to anyone.

We recently spent a week visiting our son, and TJ's place was a relaxing and convenient place to relax. The fire pit inspired late night conversations, the kitchen was easy to use, and we were surprised by all the thoughtful touches and gifts from TJ. On top of everything, she's a naturalist and was able to advise us on spots to find various birds, mammals, and tide pools.

Spent five nights here with friends. It’s the cleanest and most well equipped place we ever stayed. The owners have gone above and beyond to make it a memorable stay. The photos on line do not do it justice. It’s much nicer than it shows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely two bedroom cottage provided everything necessary for a pleasant stay within a short drive of great beaches. Attached garage gives covered parking. Minor noise factor (motorcycles, trucks, chainsaws) at certain times during the day, but not at night. TJ, the property manager, was great. Price was right, too. We'd stay there again.

My husband & I stayed at The Pelican House for 6 weeks & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice, well kept & comfortably furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped with a variety of small appliances, baking & cooking items etc. TJ has everything you need to enjoy your stay including bicycles, games & puzzles. She has also provided everything you need for a day at the beach: chairs, cooler, umbrella & boogie boards. Our favorite part of the property was the lovely patio. We spent many hours reading, visiting with friends & enjoying the fire pit. We brought our dog & the patio is perfect for a dog—plenty of room to explore & warm areas to nap. TJ is a wonderful host. She reached out to us upon our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed & was readily available during our stay. My husband & I found out we had quite a bit in common with her. TJ is a friendly, wonderful person & we really enjoyed spending time with her. If your traveling to this area, I highly recommend The Pelican House

What a wonderful place to stay, I felt like I was in a beach cottage, the home is nicely decorated and SUPER clean. I had my dogs with me and the fenced in yard was perfect for them. The house is very well equipped with everything you might need - and a lot of nice extra touches. There is beach gear and games, two bicycles, board games and puzzles - you won't need to buy anything. Washer dryer in the garage, lots of parking, and a quiet neighborhood. I loved it!

Beachy theme, comfortable home, everything in kitchen you could want, backyard with 2 sitting areas, quiet, and very close to everything. Will come back again

TJ has done an excellent job to make your stay pleasant and worry-free. The house is very clean with every detail being thought about. Not only you'll find plates/utensils/cups and pans/pots, but a bottle of pinor gris is waiting for you in the fridge. Beach blankets, bicycles with the lock and helmet(!!!) are in garage. All you need is to turn off your mobile and head to the beach. Wonderful! Thank you TJ
