Our 2nd stay at this property. Very comfortable and nicely appointed. The screened porch with rocking chairs is where we spent most of our time. The cabin seems to be remote but it is only a 10 minute drive to Franklin. We will be back!

We were very impressed with the secluded log home! Located close to everything Franklin yet feels like wilderness. The property owners were gracious and have an excellent check-in along with very timely communications! Very comfortable furnishings and bed! 5 stars all the way!

We had another wonderful weekend at the cabin. Our hosts thought of everything. Directions for everything plus all the extra touches. We had all the comforts of home plus. All we needed to bring was our clothes and food. The cabin is so clean, roomy and comfortable. We each had a place to go for alone time and a favorite spot. And there was plenty to do for family times-ping pong, foosball, or darts in the basement-and rocking or swinging on the porch anytime with coffee, a book and or a blanket. The cabin is warm and cozy. The porch is where it can be only you and nature when you close your eyes and just listen. We thank our hosts for everything and for providing a very restful and relaxing weekend. In our opinion, this is the perfect cabin. The only negative-having to leave.

Loved our stay in this cabin! This was a real true cabin experience with all the woodwork to go along with it! Jeannie was the perfect host! She had a special welcoming card for us as we entered the cabin. And detailed notes on how to enter and exit the cabin, so read very carefully and follow instructions and you’ll be fine. Will definitely be staying here again, hopefully soon! Oh and don’t forget to purchase the handmade creams, soaps and lotions. They really work for dry skin!!!

Absolutely fell in love with Rabbit Creek Hideaway!! Loved the rustic feel of the cabin and the view from the screened porch was beautiful! Pictures do not do it justice! Perfectly secluded in the trees, we watched the cardinals play in the leaves every morning of our stay. The cabin was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. The owners were more than gracious and even left us some homemade jam that was AMAZING!!! Great cabin, great owners, great location- will definitely be back!!

Quiet and homey cabin

Our stay was perfect! Cabin was conveniently located, but still very private. Had a beautiful view off the screened porch & out the windows. Very cozy and warm, but rustic charm through & through. Gas fireplace added to ambience. Very clean with so many personal touches & little surprises. It was easy to tell the hosts put their hearts into it. And all of the games in the basement were super for family fun and entertainment options. Hosts were great communicators & very helpful. Locating the cabin (gps/directions), getting in & out (security system) & check-in/check-out instructions & responsibilities were clear & easy. Will certainly stay here again! Loved it!

We loved all of the homey touches; a welcome note, homemade jam, names on stockings and a cozy fireplace. The view of the mountains and surrouding scenery was beautiful. Lord willing we will definately be back for another stay. We highly recommend this cabin.

We chose to stay at this location for a fun weekend taking our little one to the Polar Express over in Bryson City. Beautiful drive about 40 minutes away. The hosts did a wonderful job decorating the cabin for Christmas - it felt like a home away from home!

This property was great for us. We went just after thanksgiving the place was decorated for Christmas with a beautiful and stocking with our names what a special touch! Was centrally located for us this trip as we wanted to spend a day in Helen Georgia and another day in gatlinburg TN. The house was clean a little to cold to use the porch it the view was great!!! We will definitely stay her again . Oh and the owners are wonderful and super friendly must say that is super important so thank you we truly enjoyed our stay!!!

The view from the back porch is beautiful and so peaceful. The cabin is perfect for 2-3 people. It is down a private drive which makes it virtually hidden from the road. It is close to town where you can enjoy break or lunch at Ms. Lois’ Cafe. Highlands and Cashier are within a decent driving distance if you enjoy hiking and/or chasing waterfalls. They have a game room which is great for downtime with family.

The cabin was just as described, very clean. It was perfect for our weekend trip & very close to downtown Franklin.

This was a great, secluded, quiet place. Couldn't have found a more suitable place to stay. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are looking forward to staying there again.

We enjoyed another long weekend at this special cabin with our grandson. With a basement that has a ping pong table, foosball and air hockey table, we had plenty of game time. When the rain came one night and the cold air blew the next night, the cabin was warm, cozy and welcoming. The porch provided fresh air, a mountain view, and time to get in touch with nature. The inside was spacious with plenty of cozy areas to relax and unwind. Our hosts provided everything, and thought of everything to make for a stress free weekend. The cabin is our home away from home. We look forward to another visit soon.

We had an amazing time at Rabbit Creek! My husband had to come to Franklin for work and I was able to work remotely from the cabin. The internet worked great and I set my "desk" to look out the window on the blackberry patch and pasture scenery. The owners were so sweet and we even bought some of the goodies that she hand makes. We loved how easy it was to check out- no excessive cleaning asked! We would highly recommend!

Directions were excellent and access easy.. The cabin was clean and ready for our arrival and our king bed was very comfortable. We loved rocking on the screened porch and swing. We would have liked more space on the main level to move around.

My husband and I have been going to Franklin and staying at this cabin every year for our anniversary every year since we have been married. It's the perfect getaway. The cabin is clean, cute, and has a perfect location - secluded yet close to everything! We love it!

Cute and cozy. Would be great for family w/tweets and/or teens. Super rec room in daylight bsmnt w ping pong, football, air hockey, darts. Lots of pix Les and board games too.

This cottage is just perfect! Cute as a button, very comfortable, and such a fantastic view! I could rock away the day on that screened-in porch forever. I kind of expected the upstairs space under the eaves to be a bit on the warm side, but the air conditioning worked like a dream and the ceiling fans moved the air around nicely. Plus the evenings are so nice and cool there, even at the end of June. I can only imagine how cozy the cabin would be in the winter with the fireplace going. The towels, sheets, pillows and mattresses are comfortable. The kitchen is small but very adequately stocked with everything you could need. Unlike many VRBO properties at which I've stayed, the list of checkout expectations is extremely minimal, basically they just want you to close the blinds and lock the door. This was refreshing after staying at places that practically want you to clean the place yourself while still charging you a cleaning fee. My only regret is leaving my jam! There is a lovely little "shop" of homemade items--jams and lip balms and soaps, etc. I tried a lip balm and was very pleased with it, and paid for that and a jar of jam--we received a very nice gift of a jar of carrot cake jam but I wanted to try the Christmas Jam--and I forgot to take it! Oh well, I guess I'll have to go back! I've stayed in quite a few VRBOs and while I've enjoyed all of them I generally prefer going somewhere new every vacation, but I would love to come back here.

We came to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary and it was exactly what we wanted. The house was great!! We enjoyed playing ping pong, air hockey, and darts in the lower level. The best part was sitting on the screened in porch in the morning watching the cows grazing across the way and the firefly show at night. It was hard to leave. Beautiful spot. All the amenities you need.

This is our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. The cabin has a wonderful view and the set up and decor is beautiful. We look forward to staying here a third time soon!

We were so thrilled with the size, the view, the supplies provided, the basement, all the extras!

We really enjoyed our stay! Cabin was very clean, peaceful and secluded, and had everything you need. The view was beautiful. And I love the little nook with the owners homemade jams and body care products. We bought a few to bring home and share with the kids.

It was such an excellent experience and am looking forward to coming back again. Such a warm and inviting place. The owners have thought of everything.
