We had a great time at this cute condo SUPER close to the beach. We didn’t get in the beach much but had all the beach toys, boogie boards, chairs!

It was just like the picture. Clean and the host Kira was amazing, over the phone and in person.

Our family visited the area to attend the MCRD graduation. We had 2 nephews graduate and earn the title of Marines. Location was great, easy to find and parking was perfect for our bigger SUV. The condo was perfect for us, close to all of the fun places to eat as well as beautiful walks on the beach. Would highly recommend this condo!

The unit was very close to the beach as well as restaurants and shopping. We plan on returning.

Previously, we have always stayed in Mission Beach, but thought we'd give Ocean Beach a try this year. The access to the beach is excellent and the view includes the beach and sunset. Just a few blocks away are many restaurants and shops. There is even a grocery store within walking distance. We enjoyed sampling many of the restaurants. The Wednesday afternoon Farmers' Market was really fun.

Clean, easy place to base for week in San Diego. Fun Ocean Beach vibe and nice swimming beach block from the door. All the beach extras you'll need - towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards available to borrow.

The booking and check in process was easy. However, the pics and description were not accurate. The couch and chairs were not even usable. You immediately sunk into them and they need to be replaced immediately. The living room space was not usable at all for us. The cleaning crew was just finishing when we got there to check in and the floors were still wet once we gained entry but overall it was clean. There was a missing remote in the upstairs room also. The area around the cottage was dirty and it smelled of urine. There was dog poop smeared on the sidewalks. The locals were not friendly, the area in general was run down, and there was a lot of homeless population around.

The place was absolutely perfect for us four adults to enjoy the weekend graduation celebrations with our family. I rent out on VRBO myself and I manage my own property. I have found the properties managed by companies are typically not kept as well, but this property was safe, clean, accommodating, and just what we needed.

The house was great! Great location right across the street from the beach; the street is quiet too. Lots of walkable shops and restaurants The unit we stayed in was super cute cozy with a great view of the beach. The tub in the master is divine. The weather during our stay wasn't great for water activities, but it's really nice there were enough towels and boogie boards, etc. available. Everyone had a great time and many comments were made about coming back to this house with their family or next time they were in town. I'd love to come back in the summer myself. We had a great time when we stayed at Seagull Cottage. It is so close to all the tourist attractions and a quick walk to restaurants, plus the beach is literally steps away. You can’t go wrong booking this place.

Great Location for the beach, Newport Ave. beds were super comfy, living and dining furniture we not comfortable for social gathering for any extended amount of time. Not quite as spacious as the pictures appear. overall it as a pleasurable experience and again the location is great!

Perfect stay at this clean, super functional property. Host was incredibly accommodating with my last-minute reservation. Cross the street to the beach, which was wonderful. Upstairs bedroom/loft combo was great for the kids. All in all, a wonderful spot.

A very nice place in an even better location. 1 Block to the beach and walking distance that anything else you may need during your stay.

I stayed here with a group of friends for my wife’s birthday and it couldn’t have been a better stay. Clean, so much space, and an amazing location! Would definitely stay here again.

Great apartment, clean and well outfitted. The area down the street isn’t well kept and can be a bit sketchy though. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we’re happy with it all.

Our family gathered from all over the US (North Carolina, Illinois, California) to celebrate Christmas (one year delayed due to COVID) at the beach and this was a wonderful location! Great restaurants within walking distance. Everything we needed was a 10-15 minutes drive. The property management was very quick to respond & resolve a couple of lighting issues. HIGHLY recommend! Just want to point out the obvious: due to the proximity to San Diego Airport, the airplane noise is loud; on the flight path. The light sleepers in our party had a hard time getting deep, good sleep.

Very clean with nice bathrooms and linens. Beach is just across the street and good food and shopping are only a block away.

Overall was a great experience. Close to the beach, shops and touristy adventures. Strange to have no kitchen condiments and spices. Assume this was due to Covid. House was as described and taken care of. Beds and furnishings were comfortable and in good condition. Area does deal with homeless population and some drug use. Police do patrol the area and try to keep campers moving along. The locked gates to the property did help with the sense of safety. Designated parking was appreciated! I would recommend to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

We absolutely loved everything about this spot! Close to bars, food, and of course the Beach! Highly recommend for Family or group of friends. Very clean and great area. We will definately be back!!

Close is to beach and plenty of eatery options

Walking distance to the beach and downtown. Great views from the house and balcony. Only downfall was the weak WiFi reception and noise on our last night (Wednesday). Had problems streaming in two of the bedrooms and there was a large party in the park down the street which kept us awake. Not sure if it’s a chronic problem.

I live just outside San Diego and had some cousins in for a visit from back east, I wanted to make sure they got a couple of days of California Beach Culture before they flew back so I rented the house for a couple of nights before their flight and gave them the "locals" advice on where to eat, etc. They loved it! We joined them for the last night and it made the trip to the airport first thing in the morning much faster too. Even with Covid restrictions, there's plenty of OB Culture to enjoy. Mahalo.

We had a great time in San Diego the home was super convenient to the beach Access, restaurants and stores just around the corner. My only thing was that they had cannabis Festival and a farmers market that was super crowded, with tons of people not socially distancing, no masks and smoking weed so much we couldn’t leave the patio doors open. The Chanting circle could be heard til 2:00 in the morning. So if visiting check San Diego event calendar. Other than that we used beach chairs and umbrella which was very helpful. Also very close to San Diego Zoo.
