The house was immaculately clean, well decorated and comfortable. Bathrooms spacious and the views totally glorious. Our host was very welcoming and helped us make bookings and gave wonderful local advice.

Everything was fabulous for the week we stayed and it was lovely to be set above the hustle and bustle of Sorrento. Even fireworks in the town can be seen from above! The house is stunning with views to match. Sunsets to die for over the Bay of Naples and the beautiful olive trees providing shade by day on and the various comfortable seating. Casa Belvedere has a lovely welcoming feel and everything anyone would need. It was even better in real life than the photos as they can't convey the historic character of the property and the lovely landscaping. Set over 3 floors and terraces makes it interesting and everyone has their own space. We were a family of 4 (with 2 teenage children). Very clean and with very comfortable beds, lovely crisp linen and wifi galore. There was TV too with over 100 Italian channels but we didn't bother with that. Great for touring the area and only an hour or so to Pompeii by car for example. There was even a friendly neighbourhood cat visitor who called outside at least once a day that we loved as it was like a home away from home (in photos)! Maria who managed the keys and information had excellent communication skills and was warm and friendly yet professional. She even called on my birthday (it was a 'big' one) with a gift from her and the owners. Amazing touches that made the stay very special indeed. I would love to return one day... Thank you!

The only small things I can think of was that only 2 of the bedrooms have air con and we were there in extreme heat so one of my children missed out on that comfort in favour of their own privacy. If I had small children as it is on multiple levels, I would worry about them falling or would have to closely supervised. The mid floor balcony had quite a low wall too I felt but this was not an issue for us. Also a word to the middle aged of us out there, the pool is lovely and immaculately maintained every other day (very discreetly early in the morning) but as you can see is accessed by a ladder in and out which takes some time to get used to with any decorum! It was a fabulous oasis and nice and roomy in the heat so I got over it pretty quickly! Yes, as others have said the drive is very tight hairpin bend too but our hire car was way too big (Jeep Cherokee) to tour that part of the coast and it's narrow roads also. Luckily my husband managed it every time but maybe something for a nervous driver to consider. I'm glad it was not me doing it though...

The property was fabulous, had everything you needed and a fantastic outdoor area with 2 balconies, a pool and plenty of chairs. The sunset views were amazing.

The only thing we found was that it was quite a walk to the centre of the town but once we figured out a shortcut and the local bus this was easier.

The location was goog. The staff was very friendly.

Nice house, good facilities and very efficient people there to meet and help you. Great terrace and fantastic views of the entire area all the way over to Vesuvius and Naples.

Difficult to find and the garden could do with a clean up and tidy. Bedroom very warm and air conditioning wasn't functioning properly.
