We enjoyed an Amazing family vacation at The Lakehouse! Sherrie was responsive to all of our needs. She took the time to create a list of Fun activities for us to enjoy with our 3 grandkids. It was fun to be on the lake on their pontoon and kayaks. We also enjoyed playing in the lake, fishing from the dock and s’mores at their fire pit. There are lots of movies and games to enjoy. Our family throughly enjoyed themselves and we plan to come back. Thanks so much for sharing your home!

We had a wonderful time staying in this home. The location, size, and lake time made for a relaxing and fun family vacation. The owner did everything they could to make us feel welcome and was in contact if needed. My grand kids loved the sand and swimming with the fish! 🙂 They town has that small town helpful feel and we really enjoyed the ice cream. I would definitely love to stay here again.

The property is nice; cozy and inviting. The king suite could use a mattress update, and the showers are a bit cramped, but other than that the property is good. Great location, feet from the lake, great accommodations. Owner is very friendly, and worked with us on any requests.

We had a great experience. The view was amazing with the fall colors. The house was nice and more spacious then we anticipated.

My family and I rented this house as a little getaway and for a wedding. Unfortunately, we had to leave early as there were mice in the house. With our daughter being so young, we felt that’s what was best to do. Sherrie did refund us, and we do understand that it got chilly outside and mice make their way in, things happen. Unfortunately for us it didn’t allow us to have the weekend we had planned. While the location and view were great (beautiful sunset!), the cleanliness of the house (dirty/rusted grill, cobwebs/bugs stuck to windows) could use some attention. Unfortunately it just didn’t work out for us but I do appreciate Sherrie doing what she could to remedy the situation for us!

Sherrie and Norman were the best hosts! We had a medical emergency while we were there, and they were there to help in away!!! The home is clean, easy to find things. Has everything you will need. Kitchen stocked well. Furniture was comfy. We were outside most of the time on the awesome deck. Plenty of seating. But the best is sitting right next to the lake, firepit going, glass of wine in hand watching the best sunsets. Thank you guys for an unforgettable stay! Lol. Love you both! WE WILL BE BACK

Sherrie provided a great place for my brothers and I to have a nice fishing weekend. The house was clean, with plenty of space for 3. The lake was not crowded and we ended up catching some nice size pike and bass. The patio and dock were super nice and provided spot to watch both the sunrise and sunset. Also great to throw a line out during the morning or night time when you're not on the water. Will be coming back here again in the future.

We loved our stay on Crooked Lake in Delton MI. The lake house was exactly as pictured. If our little one would have been a little older, we would have rented the pontoon and it would have been even better. The owners were accessible and provided us everything we needed. I would highly recommend a stay at this location.

We enjoyed a great week at the Delton cottage. Sherrie was great to work with and quick to respond throughout the rental process. The cottage/home is exactly as advertised. Very comfortable inside and out for all 7 adults. An added bonus that was not originally offered when we booked was the rental of Sherrie & Norman's pontoon boat, which we took advantage of. It proved more convenient & cost effective than trying to rent from the campground across the lake. The pontoon was in great shape and large enough for all with all the safety gear included. We used it daily for rides to cool off and to enjoy the evening sunsets. Fishing was great. We caught keeper large mouth bass right off the dock along with perch & bluegill. A grocery store and party store were right down the road. And, there were several restaurants to chose from in Delton, Hastings & Richland. You also have a choice of a gas bbq or charcoal for grilling. The gas bbq could use a tune up but worked well for what we used it for. We did have one very bad storm roll through in the late afternoon but never had to worry as the rental is equipped with a whole home generator. Sherrie did call to verify that things were going okay for us as the storm was blowing through the area. Overall a very enjoyable, relaxing week. If all of our vacations line up again we would definitely look forward to renting this location again. Thanks Sherrie & Norm for a great stay.

We had the best week at the Lakehouse Retreat! My family loved playing in the sand and the water and catching fish right from the dock. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. Sherrie is great! Easy to work with and very responsive. Thank you for helping our family make some great memories! We will definitely be back.

This was an awesome experience. The home is well equipped with beach towels, games for adults and kids, movies, fans in all the rooms in addition to the air conditioning and a well equipped kitchen. The sunsets are awesome from the back porch.

Loved every minute. We went kayaking. The kids loved the shallow water for swimming . Water was a perfect temperature. Enjoyed a fire with s’mores at night . The house was beautifully decorated and it was a perfect stay !

My husband and I spent five days here and it was wonderful! The scenery is breathtaking, and the home is lovely. Our host was most helpful and sweet. Lovely community as well, the people were friendly and accommodating, great trip!

My father, sister and I stayed at Sherrie's rental for a week while visiting family in the area. The location and house were perfect! The house had everything that we needed and you can not beat the lake view. In addition, Sherrie was super easy to work with and the check in/out process was seamless.

The only thing that could have made this place better was the weather… it didn’t decide to warm up until we were about ready to leave. Kitchen well stocked, plenty of space to lounge on the deck, boat was a lovely added bonus! We did find some cobwebs but we were on the lake with the windows open so didn’t worry about it!

Our family had a great vacation - very relaxing. The home was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The home owner is great to work with too. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The only downside is the location just not being in a neat town like Southhaven or Saugatuck. But, we drove to both towns which were just a little over an hour away and an easy, scenic drive.
