We had a great stay at Mango Numba 5. The property owner, David, was super responsive leading up to the trip and proactively provided a lot of helpful info. Property location is great. Convenient to town. The unit has everything you’d need for your stay. We would rent here again.

Very nice condo. Clean, well equipped, good location. Parking is challenging due to the very steep incline of the road. The owner is great at communicating and supplying information.

Fantastic condo for our stay! We enjoyed being able to walk into town (hills are FUN :), relax by the pool after a day at the beach, use all the beach chairs, floats, and grill was an added bonus! Loved that the terrace had screens to allow fresh air, the breezes and no bugs.

This condo was perfect for our stay. While walking there is a bit of workout it is definitely close enough to do it. The house was clean and had way more kitchen supplies than I have ever seen at any other rental on St. John. I would gladly stay here again.

The property is fantastic. Great kitchen comfortable living room fabulous screened in deck. It’s got everything. A great grill great air conditioning great Wi-Fi every beach item you’ll need including snorkel gear. But the best part about this place is David the owner. Communication was constant. He sent use a great introductory letter outlining everything you need to know. And then he encourages you to call him which I did and he provides fantastic advice. He works with you to check in early if it’s possible. It was for us thank you. My wife and her sister loved the pool. It was OK for me but I’m not a pool guy. But I will see the views at sunset from the pool can’t be beat. One thing it is on a steep steep hill. Parking can be a challenge. We all were able to make the walk up and down the hill to town but I gotta tell her you’ll be out of breath. This place is worth every penny you pay for it and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And I probably will because I love Saint John

The property was clean and perfect for my family and I (four total). The views were spectacular and the pool was a great place to end our day. The hills getting up the property look treacherous but they weren’t too difficult to navigate or walk up, even for my 55 year old mother. Thank you David for sharing your home with us!

The condo itself was nice but the location was very difficult. The hill that the condo was something out of San Francisco and the cabs did not want to drop us off close. The community pool was not clean enough for us to swim in, looked as if it had not been skimmed in quite a while. The condo did not have washer/dryer so we had to use the same beach towels for several days and dry them as best as we could outside. The tvs were not working when we arrived but owner did get someone over to fix the day after we reported it. Overall the condo was newly renovated and nice and had a well stocked kitchen.

This spot was everything we needed. Large bedrooms (and beds!), balcony areas, and bathrooms. Clean and updated. Great views and convenient to town and the grocery store. We actually enjoyed the hilly walk in and out of town. The pool was a hit with all of us and we enjoyed lounging with the resident iguana there ;) Would stay again.

Took my family to the island for my 40th birthday. Property was absolutely wonderful. David was great at answering any questions I had prior to my trip. The welcome PDF was perfect and spells out everything you need to know before arrival. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Would return again in a heartbeat!

Great property with nice amenities. Easy check in check with owner and he was very responsive to our requests/questions. Made us feel at home. Excellent location, but hill to walk to location was serious and shouldn’t be underestimated. Owner did try to disclose, but you don’t know until you experience. Great place!

We have been coming to STJ for many years and this was another great visit for us all. PS. The beds are super comfy, some of the best we have ever encountered in a rental.

This villa was perfect for our family vacation! Very centrally located and we could easily walk to nearby restaurants! David was very responsive and answered all of my questions! The parking can get tricky (parking on a hill!) if the nearby villas are full, but we knew that from other reviews. Great views from the deck and pool! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Place is absolutely amazing. Parking is always fun but the same as many places we have stayed. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for the week. David was very helpful and always responded quickly.

really enjoyed this property. big plus was the kitchen, which was huge and fully stocked. having access to netflix and prime, also a big plus. I loved the tiled shower in master bedroom, which was also large with a window. the view from balcony was fine. didn't like the screened in porches at first, but then was grateful for them after I saw all the mosquitos hanging out trying to get in. with the screens we could open all the balcony doors and let that wonderful island breeze in, without worrying filling the place with mosquitos. the pool is beautiful with a great view. my favorite time was waking up at sunrise, and going to the pool deck to sit with my coffee. can't beat that view. the individual A/C units in each room, are also the way to go. this was a very modern 2/2 unit, nicely decorated, with a ton of supplies, inc. everything for beach--chairs, umbrella, coolers. the parking was tricky (at a severe incline) but you get use to it. next time I'll be sure to bring bug spray, because the no-see-ums will eat you up at the beach.

Very nice condo with a large well stocked kitchen. David was very helpful and responsive. The drive or walk up the hill is really crazy but provides a lot of laughs! If you go to the left when leaving the walk is nicer and not as steep. Turn to the right to see more of the local neighborhoods. We rented a vehicle and went to the beaches. We walked to the store and to restaurants. We’d stay there again.

Beautiful apartment with great views and nicely decorated . The pool is wonderful with a short walk to town. The driveway is trickey but we got the hang of it. David was a wonderful host and responsive and accommodating . I hope to return !

We stayed at Mango Numba 5 a couple of weeks ago; and let me tell you, it is a charming place! With stunning views, comfortable beds, and clean, modern amenities, this is a wonderful place to stay (especially if you rent a Jeep!). David went out of his way to be an incredible host. We were there with a small group of people for our wedding, and David was extremely responsive to all of our questions and needs. We will definitely be back!

This was a very well appointed 2 bed room 2 bath. Very nice and clean. Had beach chairs and other extras that made our stay great.

Our party of four had an amazing stay here. The condo had everything we needed with stunning views. The hill is a hill or as we called it, the Matterhorn. We walked each day into Cruz bay and back each night and had many laughs climbing up and down the hill. We also saw many interesting things each time we walked into Cruz bay including lots of iguanas and peacocks flying into trees. The condo was in a great location as we walked from the condo into Cruz Bay, Mongoose Junction, Salomon Beach, and Honeymoon beach. This was a great condo to stay in due to location, had everything we needed for our stay, clean, and very spacious.

Our party of four stayed seven nights at Mango Numba 5. The accommodations were perfect and the condo was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. David was very quick to respond to every question we had from the beginning of the booking all the way through our return home. The hill is a hill. Parking was not bad after getting used to navigating the narrow roads. Yes it does take some effort to walk it, but we made the trip up and down every day after driving back from the beach and parking the car for the night. Quite honestly, we looked forward to the challenge of the uphill after dinner every night and we would laugh it off back at the condo. The updated condo is very spacious with lots of natural light and a great view. The beds are very comfortable and the AC worked great. Bathrooms are huge and clean. We had a great week as always in St. John. It is the location and quality of David's condo that made the week all the more fun. I would recommend this to anyoone who would want to stay in a quiet area in Cruz Bay!
