House was cute! It suited our needs. We visited for a family reunion so this home was located near most of our family! The large bedroom on the main living area was great for my family to sleep and the boys enjoyed the bunk beds! This was better than a hotel especially with toddlers and a baby!

This home was a great fit for our family of 5. The owners were very responsive to our messages, typically responding within a few minutes. The home was clean and had a warm feel to it. The location enabled us to navigate easily to the places that we want to see.

This was a last minute choice for a getaway, it was the wife's bday. She just wanted to get out the house and chill for her bday. Considering that we couldn't travel where we wanted to, due to the pandemic, this was surprisingly a cool pick. The house was a nice, quaint, and more spacious than expected. Everything you need is in the house. Only a few negatives/issues with this location. There was more than normal outside bugs, spiders, lady bugs, beetles, etc. Being that its close to so much greenery I expect bugs but... It is very dark in the evening and the back porch lights weren't working. And also the side door doesn't lock, and even tho its in a nice neighborhood, me being a city person, I didn't like having a unsecured door. But with that being said I would definitely book again and recommend this location. Good neighborhood and close to everything!!!

The home was nice. Great location. Had everything we needed. However the home has old windows and many of them are not able to close properly. Our rental was full of flying bugs. They were everywhere. Each night i had to go around and try to kill as many as I could so my family could sleep. This home also has a leaky roof. It it is to be a great rental it needs some updating.

Stayed in the beautiful home for a 3 day weekend with family. Great location, clean and nicely decorated.

My family and I took a short weekend trip to visit the Indiana Sand Dunes and beach. This home was perfect to come back to after a long day at the beach. Thank you Tom and Becky for sharing your home!

We had a wonderful experience! The location was great, close to a lot of restaurants and shopping, and was less than 30 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park. The house was clean and cozy, and nicely decorated. It felt like a home away from home!

We came for Christmas week and were welcomed with a warm comfortable well appointed house. I would highly recommend this house for your next family stay. I slept very soundly.

Home could have been cleaner. Rugs were dirty and couch was covered with dog hair. My husband is allergic to dogs and really suffered. Dryer was full of lint.

This house was such a good fit for my family and our pet! It was in a great location. Close to grocery stores, shopping and within 30minutes of everything we wanted to do. It was super clean and felt like home.

It was perfect for us and location is out town but in town we all enjoyed is so much it was a home from home

The house was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It is however located on a busy street and next to a fire station. There weren’t any emergency calls, but the road noise is something we were not used to so we didn’t sleep well. It is easy to find and near stores so it was convenient that way.

Wonderful home and owners!! Quiet neighborhood

This property is very nice. Beautiful yard to be outside when the weather is beautiful. The house was very nice, very clean and comfortable. A lot of beds; two upstairs and a large room downstairs with several beds in it.

We enjoyed our stay at Green Acres. Close to everything. Plenty of comfortable beds to choose from for four adults, a toddler and a baby. The bunk room didn't get much heat, so it is a bit too cold for the little ones. The living room could use more comfy seating. If you had 10 people, you'd be really short on seating. We needed towel rods or hooks in the bathroom. Overall, a cute house that worked well for us!

My family of 6 fit perfectly in this home. It is tastefully decorated and really quite comfortable. Only one thing to note, the bunk bed room is really cold compared to the rest of the house, but extra blankets were provided by the home owner; which was really nice. Also, we were there in the middle of winter, so probably par for the course.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house is decorated beautifully and it was very comfortable for my brother and his kids, and our little family. The owners were very welcoming and, it was only a 45 min drive to the dunes and lake. We would definitely stay here again. :)

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Location was conveniently located, close to lots of restaurants and shopping and a 25-40 minute drive to Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes area. We have a few suggestions to make the property better for future guests. The downstairs 1/2 bath has no towel bar so a towel bar or something to hang hand or face towels is needed. The only mirrors are on the vanity in the bathrooms. A full length mirror somewhere in the house would be another good addition. Paper towels and a paper towel dispenser in the kitchen would be convenient for cleaning instead of having to use a dish towel for any type of cleaning or wiping up spills. The heating element in the dryer was not working, so we had to hang the towels we washed outside to dry them. The last thing we noticed was more spiders and bugs than we are used to. It wasn't offensive, just more than expected. Possibly hire a company to spray more frequently to keep any bugs and spiders at bay. Please not the 4 star rating. I would recommend this house for future guest. The suggestions are to move it from a 4 star rating to a 5 star rating.

The house is full of character and was very clean. We enjoyed the close proximity to shopping and restaurants and I65, but you could sit on the back deck and feel like you were in the country. Owners were very responsive and friendly. Note that there are stairs to reach the only bathtub and no washer and dryer available.
