great spot, nice house

after booking with Bookings .com, had to deal with real estate agent.They demanded emailed photo ID and credit card,$1500 deposit and texted annoying texts re noise levels even before we arrived. I didn't think having booked on line this was appropriate but was only way to get keys

the location was exceptional

the ants in the kitchen need to be addressed, there wasnt an iron

Everything else. View was insane, access to the beach. Privacy between the two bedrooms. Also had a WiFi issue which was resolved after a few hrs which was good. Pacific palms who manage the place are polite and helpful.

Pantry totally unstocked. No tea, coffee, bin liners, sugar, oil. Whilst these are not mentioned in the listing, it would have been good to call this out explicitly. None of us had ever stayed anywhere where these things are not available, including no frills motels. There are no local restaurants so we packed expecting to cook but didn't bring tin foil and others basics expecting there to be some. The local store is however well stocked but this and the several calls beforehand trying to get access to the property whilst we were there to change the furniture around was a bit annoying. Its a beautiful place, you just have to bring the kitchen sink to be comfortable and for the price that's annoying. And a final thing only 1 of 4 of us had any sort of mobile reception. Would have been good for this to be mentioned as one of the party was a surgeon. This wasn't an issue and we all liked being offline but again, would have preferred full disclosure.
