Enjoyed our 3 nights here. Good location to go into San Francisco and also Napa.

It was a super nice stay for two people with easy access to the city of San Francisco and surrounding areas!

We enjoyed our stay at La Casa De Madera while visiting the east Bay Area. The location is convenient, and the neighborhood is very quiet. While small, it is a nice accommodation for two people.

Stayed in this lovely tiny house for about 10 days - I was in town for work. It was perfect for just me! It was very clean and well maintained/built. I met the owner on the first day - Jeff - he was super nice and we discussed construction as we are both in the industry and he said that he had built the little place. Impressive. He has a beautiful garden blooming wonderfully this time of year - you can smell the jasmine as you're walking up the stairs. The flowers and succulents were such a nice view out of the kitchen window while doing dishes lol The weather was beautiful so I kept the door and windows open most of the time - this helped at night since I am a hot sleeper. Plenty of towels, sheets, blankets and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and cooking utensils. I was able to cook hot meals on a gas cooktop - which I loved (no microwave, something to keep in mind if you prefer that but I don't mind) The bathroom was roomy, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed is up on a loft, and was really cozy (and a dreamy view of the bay bridge) - especially during the rain storms when the rain's hitting the roof. Jeff kept to himself and checked in every once in a while - street parking is available in front of the home that was always free which I really appreciated. Good restaurants nearby, grocery stores. 25 mins to Six Flags if you're into that (I am so that was awesome) and about 30 min to airport (w no traffic) 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Very clean, nice small house. It has everything you need. The bed could have been a little more comfortable as it doesn’t seem like a full mattress but that is me trying to find something that it could improve on. The only real issue was not getting to the house until late (10 pm) and still did not have any details on the wifi until I messaged the property manager again which she replied that same night but at that point we had already gone to bed. I recommend sending the wifi info in the morning of the stay in case people get in late. That being said, I would definitely recommend staying here as well as go back.

A lovely small house built with care and with fab views of the bay. Stairs to sleeping loft not for sissies, but doable for younger folk. Car is absolutely necessary.

Overall I had a great stay. The neighborhood is quiet and close to hiking trails. Tons of natural light. The views and ambience are wonderful. I loved the shower, great water pressure! There was an issue getting the heater to work when I first got there, but it was fixed within a couple hours. Personally I’d prefer to have a microwave, but the stovetop was fine too. Agree with another review that says the mattress could use a refresh.

Perfect spot near our son's home in the Berkeley Hills. Clean, efficient, great location, great view!

We loved it!

It was clear that the owners put a lot of thought and effort into this unique home. The view over the Bay to Golden Gate is the first thing you see when opening your eyes in their comfy loft bed. It’s not a big space, more minimal. The surrounding gardens and fountain made the space for me.

10/10 would visit this Vrbo again. Great property manager, friendly host, nice neighborhood, cute tiny home. I've already shared the listing with a couple of my friends.

Great place to stay for 1 or 2 people!

There is so much to like about this guest house. It's a very well constructed space with a cozy feel. The neighborhood is very quiet, which is great, and Uber's arrive quite quickly which is really nice. We enjoyed stay and found the process very easy.

We felt very well during our visit in San Francisco. This little house is constructed with a lot of love for the detail.

We really loved the wood house. We stayed here for move in day at UC Berkeley for my boyfriend’s daughter. It’s the perfect distance from the university and great to get away from the business surrounding the school. It was nice and cozy. Quiet neighborhood and a beautiful view. We will definitely stay here again.

We planned a quick short getaway to San Francisco but choose to not stay in the city, and it was the right choice! Location was clean, safe and we didn't worry about where to park!! I definitely would book again!!

Everything a out the place was great, with the exception for the mattress. The house was very nice and the views from the house were awesome too. It was great being able to cook or eat out as we wanted. Like stated previously, the bed in the loft was not very comfortable but other than that the house was amazing.

The house itself looks exactly as pictured but the surrounding house/yard had been taken over by weeds and wouldn't have been enjoyable or accessible. The location itself was nice because it was close to so many things like restaurants, stores, shops and the freeway. The bed was uncomfortable and the house needed a cleaning. There were stains on the curtains, hair on the mattress, stains on the pillows and dust/dirt everywhere. My wife used a clorox wipe on the dining table provided and it turned black. Also the internet didn't work.

Neat tiny house, comfortable bed. Felt like we were going to sleep and waking up in an airy tree house.

The stairs up to loft area are a bit inconsistent with spacing, making it slightly more difficult to judge your footing. The mattress could use an egg crate for a bit more cushioning. My boyfriend and I stayed in the beautifully designed tiny house and loved it! Perfect location and great view! Would recommend!!
