So much to do — pool, hot tub (thankfully because the weather was cold all week), pool table, foosball, games, quick walk to the beach. Kitty Hawk is fairly commercialized and not walkable compared to Duck to the north and Nags Head to the south but both are close by for day trips. Water park, Flight museum, aquarium, sand dunes and light houses great attractions (get tickets in advance for lighthouses and aquarium)

We had our whole family at the house and had a wonderful week. The property was so close to the beach, the pool and hot tub were both so great and convenient we all had the best time! The only concern was the cleaning company didn't do the best job they really need to clean the ceiling fans and check under the beds and clean the light fixtures. Also the bathrooms could have used a little more attention. But we did bring clorox wipes so some wiping down with them and we were good to go. The management company was great and responsive when needed. Good time had by all of us!

My only critique is that I wish there was a bathroom on the lower level, but certainly not a dealbreaker. Regardless, all 6 of the bathrooms were very nice.

The cleaning crew could use improvement but when you take into consideration the size of the house and the turnover time from one renter to the next, you'd understand the reason. I'd rather deal with a little dust and get into the house at 4 pm then wait until 6pm. I loved the house. The beds were so comfortable. The pool...family room...closeness to the beach were great. The realtor reached out frequently to ask if we needed anything...asked if there were any issues. I would definitely rent this house again and use Beach Realty for rental properties.

We didn't receive our towels until the next day. We were missing a queen set of sheets. The hot tub didn't work, they sent someone out to check it and they said it worked. We proceeded to try to use it and it wouldn't work. I called, the company used for the hot tub maintenance, were very rude and sent me a picture of it working to which I replied that's great but it isn't working now. I called Beachrealty back and they sent someone out. It just needed to be reset they could have told me that over the phone. We love to play pool, the pockets on the table were taped on, we however did play some before the tape gave away. We plan on returning next year, this is our family vacation tradition I would not recommend Grey Goose to my friends. If it gets fixed up and cleaned properly it would be a great home! My son had to go purchase some technical equipment so that we could watch the upstairs tv. Coffee maker(there were 2) one worked and one leaked/so that was hard for the 12 of us. Otherwise, things went well and we had a really lovely time.

The stove cooktop and vent hood were greasy, there was an entire box of fruit loop cereal spilled under the downstairs couch and clothing the from previous guests were under beds in the downstairs bedrooms. The ceiling fans in two rooms didn't work and none of the outside outlets on the decks worked. The rubber seal on the dishwasher is broken and it leaked all over the kitchen floor. The tv in the rec room would not change channels. The hot tub motor on one side did not work and it had been called in for service but the repair man did not get there until we had been in the house for a week. While sitting out on the deck the housekeeping crew pulled into the house next door and two people had a huge screaming argument in the driveway. Not very professional. I did enjoy the location of the home and it was a very short walk to the beach. The pool was very nice and it was cleaned regularly while we were there. The house is in need of some TLC but with better housekeeping services and all of the things I mentioned above fixed, I would stay there again. The way the house is at this point I would not recommend it to a friend. I don't know if it's just because it's near the end of the season that the house is in this condition. If so, the rental company should be aware of these issues and fix them.

Loved the 2 coffee pots. (That made our morning go smoothly.) we had 2 people that had never been to the outer banks before and 3 that it was their second time. It turned out to be a great vacation thanks to Beach Realty placing us in this house and the owners allowing us to stay at the last minute! The location was great with only drawback being the ocean view is somewhat obstructed by other houses but walk to the beach was quick with easy beach access. It is also close to most anything you need or want to do. The layout of the house and size of rooms worked great for us, maybe a bathroom on bottom level would be nice. Pool was perfect with sun in the afternoon keeping it warm. The house needs a good cleaning and exterior glass doors and sliders need to be replaced but overall it is a great rental and we would definitely stay here again! They were prompt, helpful, professional and a pleasure in helping us throughout the rental experience. Dune Our Thing was a great vacation rental. Clean and comfortable. Close to the beach. Great Ocean views. The pool was cool and clean. As was the hot tub. The AC was always cool which was a welcome relief after a long day on the beach. We enjoyed our stay. The place was pretty clean and in a great location. My recommendation would be to update the listing to include information regarding what to bring. I’d suggest bringing your own pans for cooking. Side note: there were some draining issues in the showers. Would recommend updating the bathrooms/working with a plumber. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay again.

Sink leaked, several chairs broken, gas grill completed rotted through and unusable. Handles falling off two doors, pool table and fooseball table need help. Downstairs fridge smelled like rotten fish and unusable. Fan broken in lower level and would not risk turning it on. Felt like a college house and not worth money spent for the week. Outside chairs need washed. Other than location, will not be staying at this house again. Staff quick to throw blame at others. Wasn’t given early check in when planned for it. Did refund money but mentality and packing was already confirmed for early check in.
