Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Metato ! Petite maison très bien située et se trouvant à l’extrémité de la propriété ce qui permet d’être un peu à l’écart des potentiels bruits de la piscine et au calme. La propriété est très bien entretenue et très fleurie. La climatisation dans la chambre dans l’après-midi et la nuit est très appréciable. La dame qui s’occupe de l’intendance sur place est adorable et très disponible. La piscine est top. Il Metato est vraiment un petit coin de paradis !

Nous avons séjournée dans le cootage Il Metato. Nous avons vraiment apprécie ce cottage, totalement indépendant des autres, à l'extrémité de la magnifique propriété: aucun vis à vis, aucun mur commun avec les autres logements proposés. L'intérieur, quoi que rustique, est très fonctionnel et impeccablement propre. La chambre est très cosy et on y voit la mer au loin. Par contre, les marches de l'escalier pour arriver à la chambre sont très hautes: à éviter donc pour des personnes moins agiles. On ne s'est pas lassé de la vue depuis la superbe piscine! L'environnement est très beau et calme

Viele Insekten, da Waldrandlage am Hang. Leider hat das Haus keine Fliegengitter. Die Ausstattung ist alt, das Haus sehr dreckig und voller Insekten/Spinnen. Wir haben nach Ankunft erst einmal geputzt und Geschirr gespült, da alles geklebt hat. Die Matraze ist viel zu weich. In die Spiegel können nur Menschen bis 1,7 m schauen. Die Gegend ist klasse, aber in dem Haus haben wir uns sehr unwohl gefühlt. Garten und Pool sind schön. Die Hausmeisterin ist zwar freundlich und zeigt einem alles, spricht aber kein Englisch und kann nicht auf Rückfragen antworten. Insgesamt eine schlechte Erfahrung.

Ruhige Lage, gut ausgestattet im Ferienhausstil. Manches könnte mal auf einen neueren Stand gebracht werden, sind aber Kleinigkeiten.

We enjoyed our stay at LaPolettas very much. Everything was as described in the online description. The check-in and check-out procedures were very clear and uncomplicated. Overall the accommodation is definitely to be recommended, even wit a small child. In times with the COVID pandemic, the host acted in the proper way and stuck to the hygiene rules; however, the shared pool (which is awesome) is a possible way to get infected. Why? Because no one actually of the other guests stuck to the rules, not to mention that the guests not showered before entering the pool, although clearly pointed out by the host. This ignorance of the other guests in terms of the current pandemic was shocking and made our stay a bit sour. We have not been able to use the pool as we imagined. As I Doctor by myself, it should be made crystal clear that the corona rules have been applied by all guests to make the holiday comfortable to all of them and not only to one family, who also refused to speak English. But that's not the fault of the host.

Gezellig en proper huisje, mooie omgeving, beetje lawaai van de buren en van in het centrum wel. We hadden een mierenprobleem op het terras, maar dit werd meteen opgelost voor ons, top! Ook onze hond had het naar zijn zin daar!

My wife and I have just returned from a blissful week at this property. Well situated for exploring Tuscany. Lovely views, clean heated pool and plenty of parking. Livio and Vitoria were on hand for anything we needed and the owners communication was excellent.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön. Wir waren Ende September die einzigen Gäste. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte nichts. Der Service durch Victoria war perfekt. Dafür herzlichen Dank. Camaiore ist als Ausgangspunkt für die kulturellen und weiteren Aktivitäten wie Strand, Wandern , etc. ideal. In Summe, es war ein toller Urlaub an einem wunderschönen Ort.

Wunderbare Anlage. Ruhiges Ort. Wunderschöne Aussicht! Es hat alles super gepasst! Wir haben unseren Urlaub wirklich genossen! Vielen Dank!

Il posto è bello. Appartamento accogliente, non consigliabile per bimbi piccoli a causa della disposizione. Comodo x visitare bei luoghi attorno.

Très jolie maison très propre avec une magnifique piscine où nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Un grand merci à Mr Lazzari pour son guide qui nous à été d'une grande aide car tous les endroits qu'il nous a indiqué que se soit pour manger ou visiter nous n'avons jamais été déçu. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im il Metato. Die Anlage ist super gepflegt und der Pool ein absolutes Highlight. Unsere Unterkunft war auch zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Woche ließ sich dort gut verbringen. Insgesamt hatten wir eine tolle Zeit!

Well equipped property which was perfect for a couple. Loved the outside space with extensive gardens, lovely pool and fresh herbs to pick and use for home cooking. Vittoria and the owners helped us when we needed it and were highly responsive.

Bel accueil de Vittoria, un beau bouquet de fleurs dans la cuisine ! M. Et Mme Lazarri ne sont pas sur place mais toujours joignables. Tout était parfait, rien ne manquait. Le logement était propre, bien équipé. Important pour nous : tranquillité absolue pas de vis à vis. Location à recommander. Merci pour tout :-))

I spent 10 wonderful days on the estate "La Poletta" with my 16 year old daughter and her boyfriend. Our small house was perfect, quiet, the terrace huge, for breakfast still pleasant cool and in the evening with cozy corner! The best part, what else was the amazing pool with a lot of sun beds and parasols. I even could swim laps and the best time was in the evening with sunsetview behind the mountains!!! And the other guests were hardly noticed, as many were traveling. Vittoria, the housekeeper had everything under control and was available at all times, even at our arrival very late at night! Thank you very much once again. And one more thing, Camaiore is absolutely the best place to stay. Pisa, Lucca are easy to reach, but in the evening you should eat out here - far enough away from the touristic beaches/towns - the restaurants, bars and Cafeterias are wonderfull and cheap with fantastic value. The little town is just magical and it cannot be more local! At the end of our trip to Tuscany we felt home here everytime we past the roundabout on our way up to our lovely accomodation. We will come back, of course again to La Poletta! In addition, I thank Stefano & Margherita, which I unfortunately did not meet. The communication by email and telephone was great and important to me. At any time both were immediately there for my questions! Outstanding landlords!

Wir haben jeden Tag sehr genossen. Wir fühlten uns jederzeit gut umsorgt und hatten alles, was wir für einen perfekten Urlaub benötigten. Ganz lieben Dank an Vittoria und die unkomplizierte Abwicklung durch Stefano.

Paradise! It's a must visit if you want peace and quiet, only the sound of crickets. (It's heaven on earth) I was there for 9 days Victor + Vera. Victoria, the lady that check us in is a marvellous human-being, so friendly, again, grazie mille Victoria. We will be back!

Das kleine alte Haus ist geschmackvoll saniert und praktisch eingerichtet, sogar an Küchenkräuter im Beet vor der Haustür ist gedacht. Vom Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock aus hat man einen wundervollen Blick über die auslaufenden Berge bis aufs Meer. Die Terrasse bietet einen schönen Essplatz und verschiedene Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten in Sonne und Schatten. Daneben steht einem der große und gut gepflegte Garten mit altem Baumbestand zur Verfügung. Vom sauberen Pool, der gemeinsam mit den übrigen Wohnungen des Anwesens genutzt wird, hat man ebenfalls eine schöne Sicht auf die Berge. Da das Haus "Il Metato" am Rand der Gebäude liegt, bekommt man von den übrigen Gästen kaum etwas mit. Die Kleinstadt Camaiore ist zu Fuß ca. 20 Minuten und mit dem Auto 5 Minuten entfernt. Sie ist vom Massentourismus verschont geblieben und hat einen verschlafenen Charme bewahrt. Die Vermieter sprechen gut Englisch und reagieren stets hilfsbereit und umgehend.

Nachdem wir bereits schon mehrfach ein anderes Haus der Vermieter in Quattro Castello zur vollsten Zufriedenheit genutzt haben, waren wir auch bei unserem ersten Besuch mit dem Il Metato in Camaiore sehr zufrieden. Freilich - es ist das kleinste und preiswerteste Häuschen der Anlage, sodass von vorneherein mit einigen Abstrichen zu rechnen war. Jedoch den fehlenden Fensterläden konnte mit rechtzeitigem Zuziehen der Vorhänge und dem Dauerbetrieb der kräftigen Ventilatoren begegnet werden. Zwar nicht sehr ökologisch, aber auch mit den im Haus vorrätigen Anti-Mückensteckern war man durchaus gegen die Mücken ausreichend gefeiht. (Und wenn die Vermieter siehe ihrer Antwort auf den Beitrag unten schreiben, dass sie nächstes Jahr auch Fliegengitter zur Verfügung stellen, kann man gewiss sein, dass sie das auch machen werden.) Wir jedenfalls haben schon wieder für nächstes Jahr gebucht - denn der Salzwasserpool (12x6m) ist einfach fantastisch, genauso wie der Ausblick auf die Landschaft drumherum. Überhaupt ist das ganze Anwesen sehr gepflegt und man wird von den Vermietern wie auch der allseits präsenten Vittoria sehr gut versorgt.

Das Ferienhaus liegt wunderschön oberhalb von Camaiore (ca. 1,3 km zum Zentrum). Es ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Gartenanlage sowie der Pool sind sehr gepflegt. Von den Vermietern wird man rechtzeitig vor Reisebeginn sehr umfangreich mit Informationsmaterial (Ausflugstipps usw.) versorgt. Einziges Manko: Fehlende Fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Aufgrund fehlender Fensterläden (im Erdgeschoss) wird es in den Räumen sehr warm.

Everything was well organized and the owner and the staff were really nice and took good care of our comfort. The house offers everything you need for daily use for example for cooking. Everything was really clean and newly renovated and nevertheless the house keeps a special charm of an old homely house. In the time we stayed at the house there were lots of Moskitos so better take some Autan with you. But the sleeping room was preparated with an electric Moskito repellent mashine. In order to reach the house you will definitely need car. We can really recommend Il Metato and enjoyed our days up on the mountain. We would definitely come back again!
