My husband and I chose this cabin to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The hand built cabin did not disappoint. Beautiful location right on a pond loaded with sunfish with a flowing stream at the rear of the property. Location is near anything you would want to do in the area. Great communication with the owner Doug made us feel right at home. Hope to return one day.

Cabin was an excellent alternative to a hotel. It allowed us to have more family time since it was graduation at Mary Baldwin and VMI. Unfortunately it rained 3 of 4 days and with no cable and only very spotty WiFi, staying inside was less than ideal. Be careful of the stairs. They are taller steps than average and the steps are pulling away from the treads. The beds are very comfortable and all the linens are very nice, but there were no blankets except for 2 throws that I could find. The fresh eggs were great,

We stayed over the weekend for 2 nights and our family of 4 had a great time. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and our kids loved all the activities available on the property. We fished, hung out at the fire pit, fed the cute pigs on the property, and enjoyed cozy fires in the wood burning stove each night. The owner Doug was great communicating with us with any questions we had and we really enjoyed our stay.

This cabin was everything we hoped of and more. Secluded and private while also being super close to hiking trails and devils backbone brewery. Farm fresh eggs were a huge plus as well!

Very close to Waynesboro, Staunton, Crabtree Falls, Wintergreen, Blue ridge parkway ... Recommended stay if you're looking in the area.

Our stay at the cabin was quiet and very relaxing. The property is beautiful and the scenery amazing. The cabin was very homey and comfortable. A little bit of a drive to where ever you wished to visit, but the quietness and comfort was very well worth it.

Stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was not great, but there was enough to do in the area to keep us occupied even when raining. Hosts were lovely and very responsive on email and text. The cabin is lovely and clearly well loved by the owners with many personal touches. Well equipped kitchen, good tv and games etc available. Only complaint would be the lack of good lighting in the living and dining spaces. All beds are in the same open space; there are 3 beds, 2 with trundle options also. Friendly pigs were a great bonus and chickens in the grounds. The pond outside is great for kids with so many bluegill and pumpkinseed (size 10 hook, corn and bobber is all you need!). The stream running through the property is lovely, but small and not really a rout stream. Outdoor plug so good for EVs. Great spot for a getaway.

This was the second stay for my husband and me at the Lyndhurst cabin. We love the serenity it offers. We have family who live in the area and visited for the day. The kids had a blast exploring the property-- looking for tad pools, picking up sticks, checking out the creek, etc! We will return again :)
