De ligging ongeveer 10 minuten lopen naar morade. Het ligt op een centrale weg waar de bus en taxi langsrijdt. Mini supermarkt en de bank zit op loopafstand. Ivan is een vriendelijke man en erg behulpzaam.
2 rollen toiletpapier is te weinig. Het appartement heeft op verschillende muren een likje verf nodig.

The apartment is very nice and spacious, perfect for a couple or a family of four. The kitchen is well equipped and the owner is really kind and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa lo Bica! The host, Ivan, is very friendly and welcoming and even gave us a complimentary tour of Mindelo. He provided restaurant recommendations, day trip recommendations, and helped arrange taxis to and from the airport. The WiFi worked well and the kitchen is well equipped. The rooms were large and comfortable.
We were also especially happy (and fortunate) that the host arranged a day trip to Santo Antão through some people who he knows on the neighboring island. This was the highlight of our trip and if you stay here, I highly recommend reaching out to inquire about a Santo Antão day trip. We also really enjoyed a day trip to Salamansa Beach where we hung out on the beach and ate at Ted's Bar & Restaurant (also highly recommend this place!).
Thanks again for a great stay, and I will book again if I am ever back in Mindelo.

I liked the layout and amenities in the apartment. The internet connection was good and I was able to work. The bed was comfortable. It was an airy and bright apartment.
Lots of dogs barking on the roof or around the building. The little landing at the entrance of the apartment door had this awful smell (not sure if dogs or animals are being raised here)

The accommodation was absolutely great. Beautiful facilities, clean. The house is in a very good part of town. And the owner is absolutely great - a very helpful person, he advised us on everything.

Very spacious and clean apt, Nice shower with hot water, the terrace is a nice surprise to have. Also you have a kitchen and a fridge which is awesome if you don t want to go out every time to eat.

We had the chance to try both apartments Casa Io (Bica and Djeus) during our 2 stays in Mindelo and they were fantastics ! Bica is 1-room bigger than Djeu but they’re both brand new, cosy and with great amenities. Hot shower, coffee machine, toaster, good WiFi, hairdryer, confortable beds... High standards for Cabo Verde!
it’s a quick walk from the town center and the marina, everything went perfectly well. Tania is a beautiful and sweet person, very kind and helpful. Thank you very much for our stay we definitely recommend this place for short and/or long stay !

Ivan is a great host! He gave me a mini tour of the city, showing me the good restaurants and bars and gave me a list of things to do in Mindelo.
The location is a bit far from the centre, about a 15-20min walk. Not a lot of taxis come by but Ivan’s dad drives a taxi (and lives next door) so you can just let him know and he’ll ask his dad to come get you.
