This was our second year renting this house. The location is perfect for walking to town and the Frankfort beach. Our favorite part of this home is the huge wrap around porch. We plan on renting again next year.

Another amazing week in Frankfort at this property! Great set up for 3 generation trip with 9 guests ages 3 - 68. Central air, spacious dining and kitchen and amazing front porch. Love the welcome gift and very responsive to any issues. Nice to have linens provided and not to have to strip the beds when leaving to catch a flight back to hot north carolina. Easy walk to the beach and relaxing outdoor furniture to watch kids play and friendly people and pets walk by. Will be back!

Lots of space to stretch out. Seemed very clean and organized. The wrap around porch was fantastic. Tons of seating. Already planning our next trip!

First off, Frankfort is just a gem of a town - and the location of this house cannot be beat! We were just steps from both the beach (which always felt like we had to ourselves) and the cute little downtown. The house had a wonderful porch and great common spaces for the 9 of us to gather comfortably. The kids loved the games and books and we made great use of the outdoor fireplace for Smores. We had a little trouble figuring out a few things upon check in and suggest a welcome book in the future. The upstairs bedroom layout is a touch odd too, but it worked fine. Everyone in our group, ages 2-65 slept great and had a truly wonderful time!

This ideally located (11/2 blocks to the beach and 2 to shops) property was well-stock with all the essentials. The highlight of the home is the spacious front porch wrapped around 3 sides of the house. We spent very little time indoors and there are even light throws for the evenings. These owners have thought of everything!

What a great week we had! Everything about this place is amazing! Great house for a family or group. Worth every penny and then some. Perfect location a block from the main drag and a block from the beach.

My family has been in Frankfort for over 150 years. When my parents sold their house 5 years ago, we started renting. This house was perfect for my large family and made me feel like I was back to my childhood with the location. Charles was fantastic to work with. We will hopefully be renting this place in the future! One thing to just be aware of if you have small children, there is no bathtub, but the shower heads are detachable to help bathe little ones in the shower.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this spacious home! Our family consisted of members ranging in ages from seven to 76. The house was large enough for all of us to sleep, relax and eat, and for the kids to play, inside and outside. The side yard provided room for many corn hole games! We spent lots of time on the huge wrap-around porch, eating our meals and visiting. A great perk was that the large garage had a ping table, and the most convenient part was that it was only two blocks from the beach and less than two blocks from Main Street ice cream and shops! Perfect location! Thank you Charles and Mary for sharing your home and for being so accommodating! We definitely plan to return!

The weather was rainy for a few days but was able to still enjoy being outside. The back patio with the pond was great in the afternoon to relax and listen to the soothing sound of the water. Bedrooms were comfortable with King beds, however, the layout of the bedrooms is weird. Three bedrooms connect and the bunk room has no door. Bathrooms are not large and situated in not convenient spots. The house was not ready when we arrived and were told check-in was not until 6 pm! When booking the house check-in was stated as 4 pm and check out as 11 am. Paying for a day when can't get in until 6 was the reason for a lower score on the check-in process. The cleaning staff was very nice, and we were able to get in around 4:30. Overall, the house was fantastic and I look forward to booking it again on our next visit to Frankfort.

This house is perfect for a large family. We loved everything about this house! Very spacious. Clean and comfy. Super close to the lake. Awesome sunsets! Stocked kitchen. Zero complaints! We hope to return next year and many more years to come.

Our family of 7 adults, 2 toddlers, and 1 baby had a wonderful time at Charles' and Mary's place. The hosts were very generous with all the use we got out of what was available. Communication with swift and clear.
