This mountain home atop Wintergreen Resort is perfectly situated. Beautiful trees with views of the golf course. The house is very spacious for a large group with a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen has everything, including a cabinet with spices. Paper products, laundry supplies, tea, coffee and cocoa are there for your cleaning needs and caffeine fix. The garage is a plus for loading and unloading your car in rain or snow and there is a mud room for your boots and skis. There’s even several golf club sets with two push golf carts. DVDs and board games galore. We enjoyed The Edge and Copper Mine restaurants and the pizza at Fire and Frost is the best. For a nice view at lunch try the Stoney Creek golf club, Iron and Ale. Our visit was in the summer and Lake Monocan is a must for a picnic lunch and swim in the lake. Fun for the kids. This house must be amazing during the fall colors and perfect for snow season with the wood burning fire place—firewood provided. Do not hesitate to book.

Spent 2 nights during our winery blitz! Its a beautiful home with plenty of space. Kitchen is lovely, well equipped and most important....clean!

We booked this for our anniversary and were so pleased with our choice. This expansive property offers incredible sunrises and sunsets, a fully stocked kitchen, wonderful wood burn fireplace. I read 2 books during our 4 day stay while listening to the fire crackle. Great deck and veranda with grill. Everything was just as listed. The owner was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back and bring the kids.

This is the best equipped home we have ever stayed in. From excellent kitchen pots and pans to a very well stocked library of books, movies and even Xbox games. We didn't play any games or watch any movies but they were there. We had an issue with the wifi but it was resolved extremely fast. Communications with the host were great. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our month stay in August at Hatheway Haven. The house is very comfortable and backs onto the golf course which was both peaceful and great for walks in the evenings. We also really enjoyed hanging out on the back deck, listening to the wind in the trees, as the weather was perfect-about 8-10 degrees cooler than down in the valley. There are 2 master bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and a 3rd bedroom with a bathroom next to it upstairs. The house is set up really well for family gatherings. The kitchen is well equipped and very functional. The laundry room, mud room, garage, deck, and all the extra room we had were very nice. It was also nice to have a gas grill and thoughtful that there was an extra propane tank. There is a foosball table upstairs, a lot of board games and a large selection of DVDs. We also had Wi-Fi throughout the house. There are many hiking trails in Wintergreen, the AT and old AT are right there, and we drove to Piney River to bike on the Blue Ridge Railway Trail which was also very nice. Plus there are breweries, wineries, distilleries, etc. all around including the Devils Backbone Brewery which is close by, with good food and beverages. Also don’t miss Sweet Bliss bakery in Nellysford, next to the IGA, behind Chirios - great desserts, sandwiches. Gina Marie and their property manager Josh were both very good prompt and responsive with communicating with us. Highly recommend staying here!
