My 5 siblings and I enjoyed our stay very much at Bakers House. It was cosy and warm which was appreciated as outside it was freezing and then the snow came!

The shower in the en-suite was not fabulous, but I think the other great things made up for it. A cafetière would be a useful addition.

Great central location, property perfect for our stay - Mark (our host) was quick to respond to any questions we had. Nice touch with the welcome package. House was clean and tidy, plenty of room for us and the dogs that came too. Despite being close to the road, very little traffic noise was heard.

A large and comfortable holiday let with one ground floor bedroom for less mobile visitors, plus w/c which was ideally located close to the quay and pet friendly - a huge bonus! Parking for several vehicles at no extra cost was good too however the public pay and display car park is right next door. There’s also a seafood restaurant directly across the road which was fully booked during our stay so unfortunately didn’t get to eat there but they also do a take-away service. Plenty of pubs, cafes, take-always etc nearby so you won’t go hungry. Only downside was the noisy road but that’s the trade off for being so close to the quay. For gin lovers there’s also a shop just across the road selling speciality gins, vodka’s etc. Would stay again.

Bakers house couldn't gave been better for its position near the Quay and the cottage was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful few days in Wells next the sea

Location was perfect, close to the harbour. Well equipped and clean.

Smart TV was too complicated for us! Four toilets but Only two bathrooms even though states there are three.

The location was great. It was a great cottage for 2 families. We loved the large dining table in the conservatory it was brilliant we could all sit and eat together.

Location was ideal, only a minute’s walk from the main high street. Parking for 3 cars. The house was well appointed and really comfortable.

Only thing of mention is the steep stairs so those with some mobility issues might struggle.

location excellent.11 of us well equipped for all .mark was always very cooperative in sorting any problems.such a pity as not cleaned properly with Covid and young family felt disappointed.had to wipe surfaces sinks and floors .did mention to mark

as above such a shame as a lovely holiday home .bins not emptied was rectified after few days .bread bin was so disgusting only fit for shoes.

Location brilliant. House more than met our tended families needs Nicely furnished and very comfortable beds and seating areas Kitchen very user friendly Enough bathrooms so as not to cause a problem!

Stairs were a little steep for an older person.

The facilities and location were great, we needed a place in a convenient location, must be pet friendly, must have a secure cottage garden/patio for letting the dogs out late or early morning and must have parking. Bakers House ticked all the boxes.

Only small thing is the steep stairs but the child gates that are provided would save any child accidents.

We loved the location. The house has lovely facilities is comfortable and very clean . All aspects of a holiday are provided for
