Everything was as stated in the description - plus so much more. The cottage was very inviting - fresh milk and plunger coffee, and a variety of different teas. Little vases of fresh cut flowers and beautiful views all the way to Dorrigo. It was very peaceful sitting on the back covered veranda, we didn't feel we were in suburbia at all. The garden has a lot of interesting and different plants and the cottage was well located for accessing everything we wanted to do. The Host Christine was amazing and very easy to contact and communicate with. This was our first holiday using Stayz and future hosts and properties have a lot to live up to to meet the expectations I will have for them.

Perfect stay for myself with a participant who sprained her ankle and needed to stay still for a few days with her ankle iced and raised. The outdoor deck was perfect for this.

Christine’s place is simply lovely. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and elsewhere in the house. The little details like the fresh flowers and Easter eggs were appreciated. The house is extremely clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and the monsoon shower was a welcomed surprise. The balcony is magnificent. On the balcony is a sitting area and dining area set up so we enjoyed using that space and the view over the mountains. The beautiful and peaceful view was truly food for the soul. The actual location of the property was perfect for us - a few minute drive in to town or to the river for a swim. Christine was very easy to communicate with and very considerate - she left the light on for our late arrival along with a torch and packed away cleaning products she thought my little one would get too.

The best part of this property is the deck which is great vantage point for watching the sunset over the mountains. It makes it feel very private and secluded, yet you are very close to the Bellingen township. Very well equipped and a perfect cottage for 1 or 2 couples to stay for a few nights.

Everything about our stay was charming, from the beautiful wide verandah overlooking the private bird-filled garden to the vases of fresh flowers throughout the house. Everything we needed was provided, and the location was perfect for us. We're more than happy to recommend this property to all, and look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful Bellingen
Casuarina Cottage is a lovely place to stay. It’s well appointed, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Great location in the quiet, leafy surround over the river in Bello. We found it an easy walk to the town centre. Christine greeted us and made us very welcome. Lovely flowers, lovely fruit and fresh supplies in the fridge started the week brilliantly. Many thanks.

Adelightful cottage and hostess!
I would like to say I confirm all the positive comments made about this cottage! We so enjoyed our stay and we think that Christine is a top hostess! She looks after her guests in an exceptional way! Thank you so very much for letting us enjoy this cottage. We will miss it! We were also able to do many bush walks and I swam underneath Cedar Falls, in the Never Never Creek (entrance for the Promised Land) and in the tidal pool at Mylestom.

This beautiful cottage exeeded all our expectations and was perfect for our little getaway. Spotlessly clean everywhere, comfy beds, hot water, fresh flowers in every room and a generous supply of goodies to consume, all in a picturesque location. We could want for nothing more.

A perfect base for our busy week at Camp Creative in Bellingen. This house was ideal for our family group of 3 people. The property was both beautifully presented and a welcoming haven. The air conditioning was an absolute boon during the week we were there.Thank you !

Very comfy, well located home with friendly, helpful host
Kitchen had plenty of yummy breakfast provisions for our 7 day stay.
The rear deck is the perfect relaxation spot.

Plan on staying a little longer if tackling the Rainforest jigsaw :-) also, make time for dinner at Bellingen's - Cedar Bar and Kitchen while here......simply brilliant.

Casuarina Cottage was a place to calm the jangled nerves after a long hard year
Our concerns and worries of 2018 rolled away as we settled into Casuarina Cottage. Can't say exactly what it was, but looking from the balcony at blue hills through green rain-forest trees definitely helped. Then there were the little things, like delicious tap water, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and a good shower head. And while Bellingen has that relaxed, old world charm, we also found it has some of the best food and shopping, and the art and locals were friendly and helpful.

Lovely house close to town
Christine was an amazing host and her house is lovely. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking during your stay and the host provides complimentary breakfast supplies from local producers. The house is perfectly situated for exploring Bellingen and Gleniffer. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom has good water pressure. I would definitely go back for another relaxing holiday.
