This property is perfect for any situation. Whether you have water vessels or not it’s perfect. Lots of living and sleeping space. The kitchen is awesome. This was our fourth time spending our vacation here and we’re already planning for next vacation here. Not just the house but the boat dock is great for the kids to hang out and swim. The water is deep and clean. The boat landing is just up the channel and the main lake body is just down the channel. So accessible if you have a boat or jet skis. This property has the perfect location if you love the lake life. The owner is doing great things with the property to meet the needs of the renters. As for me and my family we will be renting again from Mrs. Millhouse.

This was the fourth year that our family vacationed in this home in June. Perfect place for children who love to swim, fish, and boat. We also enjoyed a hike over at Morrow Mountain. One day the women of the family went to Troy to shop and eat in downtown Troy. Very enjoyable!

Plenty of bedrooms , including a bunk room (6). Fantastic kitchen that was well stocked. Plenty of bath linens in each bathroom. Lake views were spectacular.

Our group arrived at different times from Thursday afternoon through Friday evening. Checkin was as smooth as it can be. Property was awesome in terms of location/lake access. Overall, property suited our needs perfectly. A few details about the property. Kitchen was awesome and open floor plan really facilitated large group conversation and activity. The remainder of the property was really nice but a little dated in terms of decor. Really liked the antique furniture throughout though. Had a few minor issues worth mentioning that should help future renters : couldn't get back door to lock, TV was good but better have your account information for TV services because live TV was limited. TV set up for Roku, apps, etc. Dock and water access was awesome and appeared to be setup for water for wash down and upstairs sink but could not get it to turn on. On final day, house notes direct you to deliver all of your trash to solid waste container site about half mile down the road but it was closed when we were leaving on Sunday. Overall, great experience. And highly recommend River Wild restaurant.

We loved our stay with our family. Home was supplied so nicely. Layout was perfect for our family. Will love to stay again. If meanwhile someone is selling that you know of hear of please let us know the possibility. Again, thank you !

This home is perfect for large groups. The interior layout had an open family/dining/kitchen with a deck facing the lake. There were ample bedrooms with beds for our family of 14. The owners supplied plenty of towels, as well as basic necessities. It was a wonderful week of vacation to end our summer.

Perfect for a large group. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house was well taken care of and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We especially loved the ping pong table and canoe! Can’t wait to go back!

This house is ideal for extended family. During the day there is plenty of room in the great room, game room, and dock for everyone to comfortably interact. Then, when it is time for individual families to sleep or rest, the house has three separate areas, each with bedrooms and a bath. Our grandchildren absolutely loved jumping from the dock into the deep water and swimming. They also spent many hours fishing from the boathouse, delighted with each little bluegill and crappie they caught. The supplies for s'mores were a big hit, too!

Everything you need to enjoy the lake during the day, the floating mat/island a big hit with all; the evening skies during the night with screened in upstairs of the boat house & a nice fire pit area w/plenty of seating and lots of room inside for board game nights. Well stocked kitchen, bedrooms w/plenty of extra blankets & pillows and lots of little extras, cold sodas in the fridge, s'mores supplies on hand, hand soap at each sink, tissue boxes throughout were all very much appreciated & enjoyed! We all had a great time and plan to return again next year.

Dream vacation! We rented this vacation house so family from out of state could go to our cousins wedding. We haven’t been together for a long time and it was so nice to be able to stay at this lovely home. The location was absolutely perfect. We found the best little coffee shop in the town of Mount Gilead. As well as a public swimming pool and gorgeous playground for the kids. At the house itself, The absolutely gorgeous kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances we needed. Small and large. The icemaker was a huge godsend! The house was very clean, the beds were very very very comfortable. We enjoyed the game room immensely. It was well stocked with games for all ages. The welcome package of snacks and drinks along with household items that we would need upon arrival including toilet paper paper towels dish detergent laundry detergent etc. came in very handy. We also found “Funtoon excursions” which was a pontoon boat that picked us up at the dock right in front of the house and dropped us off at the end of the trip. They took us to a sand dune area where the kids could get in the water safely that was only a foot deep. We even had a cookout on the Sandune! There was also an amusement park that was not too far away as well as river rafting. Which we enjoyed immensely. Every night we got to have a cookout around the fire that had enough chairs for everyone. The location was perfect, the house was perfect, I could not sing the praises enough for this home! We will definitely be back!

Such a fantastic house and the perfect spot! The best vacation rental any of us have ever stayed at. So clean!! All the beds were comfortable. Furnishings are top of the line and the kitchen!! WowWee! Worth every penny. Thank you!!

The hosts were great, and the house was perfect for our large group. Newly renowed kitchen left no stone unturned and the dock/boathouse was the perfect spot to relax and wet a line.

Found this gem on the site and it had everything it advertised. Property was beautiful and had plenty of room. Beautiful view, large kitchen and plenty of bedrooms. The porch dock overlooking the water is beautiful. If you are in the area, this is the place to stay.

This property was gorgeous out on the lake!! And completely accommodating! Main shopping is like 10 mins away! The kitchen is outstanding. The beds were comfy! Only thing that would of make this stay 100% was if we could of rented the boat, that was in the dock. All of the marinas are in off-season and don’t start around this time. All in all wonderful stay!!!!

Great place to stay for our wedding located in Mt Gilead. Close to shopping and grocery stores. Over all great stay. Owners were very nice and helpful during a hick-up with the AC. Fixed in no time and very nice and helpful. Will stay again!!

From the first day we walked in the front door until the last day that my family had to DRAG me out, we had a unequivocally amazing time. Whether we were around the awesome fire pit eating smores, laughing around the pingpong and air hockey table, or jamming to music in the lake house ... My family kept a smile on their face and good times dancing through the air. Only 1 complaint... The lakehouse balcony severely needs to be rid of spiders. Theyre huge and everywhere.

If you're looking for a great lake front house that is ideal for a group of friends or families to include kids of all ages, this is a very nice choice. The location is perfect as it's on a peninsula at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac with water on both sides, a boat ramp that is around the corner, has a very spacious and well-kept yard, 2-story boat house with a floating swim mat anchored off the dock, fire pit, and other amenities. There's a nice deck right off the kitchen that is great for grilling out or just relaxing while watching the boats cruise by. We celebrated my mother and brother's birthdays plus parents 50th wedding anniversary and had a grand time. While this did not bother our group one bit, if you prefer to be in a newer home with newer furnishings, this is not the place for you as the home is a bit dated, except the kitchen which was recently renovated and is VERY nice. Fishing on this lake to include right off the dock is excellent, we easily filled a large cooler with catfish and crappie. Lake Tillery is a very nice lake. We will be back!

The house wad great and met all our needs for 11 people! The remodeled kitchen was a wonderful place to hang out!

The owner required a $79 insurance policy to rent home (which I have never done in 15 years of rent from VRBO or Air B&B) that was worth $3,000. She also said to report any damage within first 24 hours of arriving....which we did with pics (counter had crack and frig had dent). She stated the crack in the counter was not there when she cleaned the house (you would have to be blind and have no arms to not see it), but not to worry the insurance would pay. She could not understand why I was so upset----I was falsely accused. BEWARE.....when you see 1970 decor but a picture perfect new kitchen, someone maybe shopping on your dime.

This home was absolutely perfect for my family if 10 adults and 4 children. The kitchen is amazing and the ice machine was a total hit. The little details such as towels for the lake, marshmellow holders for smores, air hockey, ping pong table and the float mat were awesome. The home is very spacious and had enough room for us all to have room to spread out. The deck with the screened it porch was also a hit for my elderly family to enjoy and overlook the lake. Deborah was very informative the days leading up to check and well as upon check in. I dont have one bad thing to say about our stay. Great family vacation and accommodations.

This house has it all...plenty of room, comfortable beds, fabulous kitchen, great view of water. Our grandchildren were completely entertained on site. They swam (the floating mat is a big hit), fished, kayaked, rode bikes on safe neighborhood roads, and even explored the woods a bit. All of us voted unanimously to return next year!

The house is very spacious, new kitchen is awesome and open concept into living room enabled entire family to hang out, play games together! Game room was a big hit. Boat house was even better for fun & fishing! Lots of extra spaces to use should rain be a factor, all rooms were very well supplied with toiletries, pantry items, games, water sports supplies and more! Owners are very hospitable, easy to contact and quick to respond. We ALL agreed that we would love to return again next year!

We stayed there with our three children and six grandchildren. All of us had a great time. The size of the house and the layout of the bedrooms were ideal for multiple families. Debby was extremely helpful and responsive. We loved the dockhouse and were able to help our grandkids catch their first fish. The only limitation was the kitchen space and appliances. It was very small and dated for accommodating large groups but the rest of the house was worth it. We brought coolers and took advantage of the ice machine and set up a table in the dining room as our pantry.

Love the place. If you have a big family, this house is great.

Beautiful property and house was very equipped with everything we needed. Very clean and dock was perfect for grandsons that love fishing. Boys even caught a couple of nice size catfish. Ping pong table and air hockey was perfect entertainment when not fishing. We will definitely plan another trip. Owners were great answering all questions quickly. Snacks and sodas were at the house when we arrived. Loved not having to bring linens, towels, soaps and cleaners. Everyone had a great time! Weather was Beautiful for this time of year.
