Beautiful house in an amazing location. Nigel was great, very friendly and accommodating, he bent over backwards to ensure we had a great stay, booked us the best tables in local restaurants, had great tips for seeing the local sights, provided valet parking (thanks again Nigel)! And was a true pleasure to chat to, we would highly recommend to others!

Delightful accommodation to indulge the Bay Of Kotor. Excellent hosting by Nigel on a very personal level truly enhanced our Montenegro memories. Great hospitality, breakfast, architecture & styling. Nice pool to dip in and uniquely beautiful ponta to jump straight into the refreshing saltwater bay.

First of all, the hotel is very clean, as in the photos, and its location is beautiful. The location of the hotel is quiet and very close to the sea. But most importantly, Philip, who took care of us, was very polite and helpful. I thank him again. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days and enjoyed it very much.

Palazzo Sbutega exceeded our expectations. We've been lucky enough to stay in some beautiful hotels and this really is up there with the best of them!
Nigel has done a fantastic job with the property and we were really made to feel at home. Our room was perfect, beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the bay from the windows. We particularly enjoyed being able to go downstairs and walk out one way to the sea or the other to the lovely back garden and pool.
Nigel and Philip also gave us some great recommendations for the local area. It was easy to walk into Kotor (c.45-60 mins) or arrange a taxi and we appreciated staying somewhere that was a bit quieter and more relaxed than the centre of Kotor itself.

Perfect stay to relax! It was our honey moon and it was the best place to spend it.
The apartments, sea view, amazing breakfast — big thanks for the owner Nigel and his team. Very cozy place done with beautiful interior, close to the sea. Nice garden with herbs near the pool — my favourite spot.
It’s excellent place to stay, if you explore the Kotor Bay, we really enjoyed it here.

We had an incredible stay at Palazzo Sbutega. Nigel, went above and beyond to make us feel like part of his family. They made my partner's birthday truly memorable by organizing a surprise birthday cake even with just a day's notice! The spacious courtyard with pool provided a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The availability of bicycles allowed us to explore the beautiful bay area at our own pace. The location, away from the town center, offered a tranquil setting that was ideal for a relaxing holiday. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing getaway.

The room, the pool and garden, breakfast, hosts, all absolutely brilliant!
Would recommend the property to anyone visiting Montenegro. On the quieter side of the bay which was great for us, with some really nice restaurants close by if you don't want to head towards the Old Town.
Nigel and Phillip gave us some great recommendations and were brilliant hosts, thanks again!

the villa, the view, just the whole atmosphere was amazing. we had a super relaxing vacation. the location was really good for us, as it was close to all the hotspots but at the same time it felt very calm and had a great view of the bay. Nigel and Filip have been the best hosts.

Nigel and Phillip were brilliant hosts, who made organising everything seamless and provided excellent recommendations. The homemade breakfast was lovely, with beautiful homemade preserves, often sat on the sunny terrace at the back of the property. The rooms are stylish and well appointed (ours had an incredible view of the Bay) and the property has a gorgeous pool and waterside lounging area where you can watch the boats go by and have a swim in the Bay. Thank you so much Palazzo Sbutega!

The location was fantastic, away from the crowds in a quite part. The host, Nigel was super attentive and always eager to please. We had a fantastic time.

EVERYTHING! Nigel/Philip were wonderful host and so much attention is paid to details. They even had the tour boat pick us up from the hotel.

Nothing we didn't like, one of the rooms isn't an en-suite which may be an issue for some guests but wasn't for us.

Beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable, high end guesthouse. The decor and finish is stunning. Nigel is a brilliant host, every restaurant recommendation was excellent and everything we needed was organised without any fuss or stress. The location is perfect to navigate the whole area and taxis were easily sourced.

Palazzo Sbutega is a great place to stay when in Kotor Bay - a place with elegance and exceptional hospitality. Nigel and Filip were great with taking care of every detail and we felt as at home.
The view from the room was amazing, overlooking the bay and mountains. It was quiet and peaceful. There are a few nice restaurants with a walking distance and 10 minutes drive to Kotor or 20 to Tivat with plenty of other choices. There are also a few hiking trails starting there or close by.

I fell in love with this location in Kotor. The breakfast was great and delicious. The hotel and the room were all clean.
The staff was closely interested in our needs and so helpful for us to meet our expectations.
We do not have any dislikes about our stay. Everything was quite satisfactory for us.

We totally enjoyed all the services and the attention manager Philipo gave us! He always assisted us for all of our trips and he gave a lot of suggestions. Room was perfect, view and location is amazing. Its 5 mins drive away from the old town. Breakfast was also very delicious. Thank you very much!

Stunning boutique property in a quiet and beautiful part of Kotor Bay. The rooms are very cosy and well designed . The shared lounge spaces are luxe and gorgeous with extreme attention to details. The pool area is lovely. Nigel was an exceptional host and nothing was too much trouble for him and his team.

Nigel was wonderful and very helpful we had so much fun the Hotel was very clean , food very tasty and the view was stunning definitly every penny was worthy

What an amazing stay!!! Couldn’t have loved Palazzo Sbutega any more. From the stunning location, to the cosy well designed rooms, to the AMAZING host Nigel. Nigel was so friendly and recommended many things for us to do whilst on our stay. The breakfast was also great- Very fresh! 10/10 stay! We will be back and will definitely recommend this hotel to all of our family and friends across the world!

Stunning building that has been sympathetically restored to a high standard. The rooms are beautifully furnished, a touch of luxury in Kotor. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to help you enjoy your time in Kotor. The owner, Nigel is the perfect host.
This is by far the best boutique accommodation in Kotor. Looking forward to visiting again.

What a little piece of paradise... Located just outside Kotor, it's the perfect location to base yourself from, which we did for 4 nights. The property is beautifully designed and there are ample spaces to relax in if you don't wish to be in your room. Highly recommend.

Nigel (owner) and Philip (Local) were more than amazing. The facilities were all perfect and clean, breakfast was incredible and so on.
What we liked the most was that whenever you left or came back there was always someone asking you about your day. Loads of tips or possible activities were explained or offered ... Nothing was to much for these guys.
We will come back!

The exterior and interior design of the property is probably one of the best in the whole region. You can tell that a lot of work went into the renovation of this truly beautiful building.

We came for our honeymoon. It was a very clean and beautiful room. We liked the hotel breakfast very much. It is very close to the center of Kotor. We toured the city comfortably. Thanks for everything. The owner of the hotel is a very nice person!
