The first thing to mention, is the breathtaking patio overlooking the Amalfi coast. Morning, afternoon and evening, the Bella vista is premium. The location was prime. We felt like a local walking through the village, past restaurants with terraces full of ambiance. Access to groceries at Tutto Tutti and a few wonderful restarting options within walking distance. Be prepared for the stairs… 67 of them to access this apartment. If you need help with your luggage hire a porter in advance. The apartment is a charming 2 bed 2 bath with A/c - phew! We needed it, as it was a second summer. The hosts are so lovely and accommodating and give you all the privacy you want, while ensuring that you are comfortable and always willing to answer any questions that you might have. Transportation is super easy in Praiano, with several options to access the town as well as neighbouring towns/cities. The local beaches are phenomenal and a must see. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Praiano. Bellisimo.

I have to begin by saying that Pasquale and Giovanna are the greatest hosts ever. Giovanna is so attentive in communicating with you before your trip. Her communication is fantastic! Pasquale met us at the bus, helped us with our luggage, gave us tomatoes and basil from his garden, and cooked us a delicious lunch one day. You truly do feel like their family when you are there. I miss them and wish I could have stayed forever. The apartment itself is delightful. It was very comfortable for my family of four. My kids are 17 and 12. The views are to die for. They are exactly as pictured in the photos. It is truly paradise. I went back and forth as to whether I wanted to stay in the heart to Positano and/or Amalfi. There is not much going on in Praiano. My whole family agreed that it was the smart choice to stay in Praiano. It felt like coming home to our secret relaxing home. It was an authentic experience. We took the city bus to the other towns. At first it seemed daunting but then we got the hang of it and the craziness of it added to our Italian experience. I will tell you that the stairs are no joke. They are not easy so if you have any kind of issue that would make it hard for you then just beware. I am not in great shape. I took them slowly. Saying that, staying at this apartment was the highlight of our trip. And my family and I feel blessed to have had spent time with Pasquale and Giovanna. They are special people and this is a special place.

The flat was very tidy, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Easy to access. Close walking distance to two small grocery stores, a gym/bar (not making it up), a scooter rental, a few restaurants and the bus stop. Pasquale and Giovanna were extremely friendly and ready to offer advice. Highly recommended.

It was a bit complicated to find the location, Giovanna gave many informations and directions but it was a little hard to follow since it was very very detailed. I think it would be easier to just say meet me at (one exact location) that we can put in the gps rather than very detailed directions to find the property. Otherwise Pasquale, Giovanna’s husband was nice when we managed to find him. He was very sweet and wanted us to have the best stay possible. Very nice stay overall, nice view and nice place ! Words cannot begin to describe our stay. A little piece of Heaven-on-Earth. Our host Pasquale met us on arrival and showed us the property. He was in contact with us throughout our stay and treated us more like family than as guests. One day he went as far as to provide us a freshly grilled fish lunch. The property itself is everything it is described as. Good size for 4 adults and the view is absolutely breathtaking. The town of Praiano is a quiet little village that was just perfect for us as we had been to Rome for 3 weeks and were looking to kick back and take it slow for a while. The beaches and restaurants in the area were all very nice and all the local people were very friendly. Be prepared to walk and climb steps - but that was not an issue for us and it helps walk off the food we indulged in :-). I would highly recommend this property and will most definitely be going back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Giovanna and Pasquale’s place! Pasquale is the sweetest Italian man who we had the pleasure of running into a few times while out and we were always greeted with the best smile and Ciao’s. If you don’t make the mistake of arriving via lower Praiano, the stairs won’t be an issue for you. The views are incredible and the place is the best typical Italian stay. 100% recommend!

The location is perfect, between Amalfi and Positano. It is very quiet. The view from the flat is amazing. There are many steps in Praiano but that is part of the Amalfi experience. Giovanna and Pasquale are wonderful hosts. In 15 years of using VRBO rentals we have never received such personal attention from our hosts. They went above and beyond and were very attentive to making our stay a wonderful one and are truly beautiful people. In 15 years of using VRBO, we have never written a review of any stay. For us to do so now is special. Highly recommended to those visiting the Amalfi Coast.

A perfect location to view the coast and neighborhoods. The steps are somewhat challenging but not too difficult. The host gave us a list of restaurants, local grocery stores, and things to do. She also arranged transportation from the airport in Naples. We had a few day trips that our host also arranged. All in all we were extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommend.

Giovanna’s place might just have the best view in Praiano. We had a fantastic stay. The place was very clean and comfortable and THAT VIEW. We ended up canceling most dinner reservations to cook and eat on the patio. It was idyllic. Giovanna made the whole process very seamless. Definitely take her up on her offer to arrange transport. Our driver, Gennaro was terrific. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wow. What can I say. Gorgeous place, wonderful view, amazing country and fantastic host! We chose Praiano as our base for our Amalfi Coast leg of our Italy trip and it did not disappoint. It was very centrally located for where we wanted to go and see. We used the Sita buses to get us to where we wanted. Visited Capri, Anacapri, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. These places are amazing. Domenico was a gracious and available host for all our questions and needs. Giovanna arranged transport for us with Gennaro from Naples Airport. He also took us to the train station for our next stop in Florence. This apartment is a gem! Such a view! Very well appointed with everything we needed. There are A LOT of stairs! By the 3rd day I was very fit! We walked down to the bus stop daily down literally hundreds of stairs. But that is Amalfi cliff living! Would come back here in a heartbeat! Domenico gave us plenty of suggestions and help. Don't take a lot of luggage or you'll be lugging it. I recommend this place 100%. Italy is my happy place! And the food!!!!! ❤💋

Before I describe the property and location, I must say that our host Pasquale made our trip to Praiano, the Amalfi coast and Italy wonderful and unforgettable. We will always cherish our memories. The property is spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped, and has a spacious patio with spectacular views. The pictures and description are accurate, but the view is even better. Praiano is quieter and less hectic than Amalfi or Positano, but that is what we wanted. There are good restaurants and a grocery readily available right there. Amalfi, Positano or Ravello are short bus or taxi rides away; check schedules which are available. Depending on the time of day and season the buses can be full and unable to stop for more passengers. Only happened once to us and we just took a taxi. There are quite a few stairs to the the property from the upper road and many more down to the main road but all doable. However, there is a small mini bus that just runs throughout Praiano so you never have to walk up the stairs from the main road if you don’t want to and can just walk down from the upper road. There is also a mini bus that runs between Positano and Praiano that follows the same route. If you come to the Amalfi coast be prepared to walk up and down everywhere you go. This location and property should not be missed. It is a gem.

Pasquale and Giovanna are two wonderful people who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and easy! We arrived late and in the dark and Pasquale came looking for us and Giovanna was ready with tea to sooth my stress! These two are super hosts!! They helped us with the bus and many other local recommendations! The flat was clean, comfortable and felt like home! The views from the veranda and bedroom are to die for!! Easy to come spend the week and just relax with a drink and that view! (I’m thinking of using it as inspiration for my book!) The steps can be challenging but it is like this anywhere on the Amalfi Coast (it’s good for the heart!) We loved it so much we are already planning our stay again for next year!!

Had a great time at Giovanni’s and Domenico’s condo. Both were very good at communicating and helping with any questions. First class view and condo. All was clean and well stocked.

The apartment very quaint , adequate space for 4 people. Patio was a wonderful place to watch the sun come up in the morning. Convenient to store, restaurants, bus stop and of course a pastry shop to get our morning cappuccino and croissant. There are plenty of steps but that is the way it is in Praiano and on the Amalfi Coast. Praiano is a good place to stay if you prefer a quieter town but still close to other busier spots. The host is good at communicating.

This property is the perfect place for relaxing and engulfing oneself in the surreal beauty of the Amafi Coast. Words cannot describe how wonderful and helpful both Giovanna & Pasquale are. After a day of touring Positano, Amalfi or Capri it was nice returning to our home away from home and sitting on the patio with a nice glass of wine enjoying the beautiful scenery. I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed in the beautiful apartment which was spotless clean, well equipped and had a very comfortable bed. The view from the balcony (or even from the bathroom!) was spectacular at any time of the day or night. Our host, Pasquale was close by and was so helpful, warm and caring that he’s now a cherished member of our family. I even got some fabulous Pasquale recipes! :). Praiano is wonderful for those who after a bustling day of visiting Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri or even trying to tackle the Path of Gods, return to a quiet and peaceful town. With the crowds, late buses and white knuckled tourists trying to maneuver with the locals on the cliff side roads, it was heaven to come back ‘home’. The stairs can be a challenge in the beginning, BUT by the end of our trip we were pros with buns of steel! There are quite a few restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance as are a few small markets for food and sundries. The SITA bus and local tour buses stop at the bottom of our stairs. Giovanna had prearranged a taxi pickup from Naples train station for a set price and Gennero was a great driver who drove us the scenic route to Praiano. We booked him as well for the trip back and he took us to our hotel, waited, then drove us to the best pizza place in Naples. So great! We do plan on returning and hopefully bring more family with us. Wonderful place to stay with people we’lll always remember. Xx

We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights and wished it were for 7! So much to explore and see! Be prepared to walk and do many steps .. we found out we weren’t in that good of shape LOL ! but would not have changed it a bit ( except for adding extra nights ! ) The view in the morning afternoon and evening was breathtaking ! The Mediterranean Sea is amazing and all the beautiful houses on the hills ! Pasquale lives right behind apt and was very helpful and sweet. Carrying our bags and guiding us around! The Italian meal was to die for ! Delicioso ! I need the recipe for the mussels :) Only wish we could have somehow reciprocated the kindness ! We are ever so grateful to him .. making our stay extra special ! Couldn’t have asked for a better location for our honeymoon!

We had a great 3 weeks holidays in Praiano. Giovanna and Pasquale were wonderful hosts. The apartment is very well equipped and offers stunning and unspoilt views across the sea right up to Salerno and the Cilento. The „Sentiero degli dei“ is a must for all those who enjoy walking. Given that the Amalfi Coast is very steep you need to be prepared to walk a lot of steps in order to get somewhere. Car drivers will need a lot of patience when looking for a car park, which could be far away from where you actually want to go and which can become expensive. Those who are planning to hire a car should give it a second thought. Apart from the car park problem driving can become a nuisance. You will be able to enjoy the scenery much more, if you go by bus or by boat. Bus services are fairly regular and very cheap. We had hired a car for 3 weeks and apart from the journey from and to the airport used it only once. We will definitely be back one day and would love to stay with Giovanna and Pasquale again.

We had a fabulous time staying at this lovely apartment! The sea view from our balcony was a lovely start to the day. Giovanna provided lots of information prior to our stay and Pasquale helped us get settled in. Great holiday!

This property is very special. It’s a lovely little apartment in a centrally located spot that makes it easy to get to Amalfi, Positano, and Ravello while not being overwhelmed with crowds. The apartment was immaculate and outfitted with everything you could possibly need. Giovanna was easily reached and provided all the information needed in preparation. Pasquale was as charming a host as one could ask for, and extremely helpful. All in all, we can’t recommend this place more highly. Heed the warning regarding steps! This is true for all the Amalfi Coast, not just this place. But if steps are no problem, Praiano is the place to go!

My friend and I spent 7 glorious days in this apartment as home base for exploring the amazing Amalfi Coast! Giovanna and Pasquale were so very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us! Yes, there are steps - when booking ask Giovanna to arrange porter service for coming and going - very handsome guys I might add and Pasquale is , as well!!! This house had everything we needed for our stay. The view was BREATHTAKING! We actually ended up eating most of our dinners in so we could enjoy the sunset view from our terrace. Giovanna made sure we had a wonderful place to visit the Amalfi coast!

We were two couples that came to stay in this lovely apartment in the Amalfi Coast. The unit was perfect with everything we needed for an amazing stay. The views off the balcony were beautiful and lovely for an evening dinner. But the best thing about the apartment was Pasquale, one of the owners who lives next to the apartment, what a treasure to meet him, he had great advice on what to do and see and his vivacious personality made the trip extra special. I would strongly advise not overpacking because in the Almafi coast there are many stairs and remember you will have to bring your luggage up and down the stairs

Beautiful two bedroom apartment with fantastic terrace - 180 degree views! Nicely equipped, with great bathrooms. Close to a little market and several restaurants. Be warned there are a lot of steps all over Praiano, but it is a charming quiet village. Pasquale is the on site host with all the info you need, but he is not intrusive. Easy to work with Giovanna. Highly recommended.

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying 4 nights the first week of September. Pasqual greeting us and helped us with our luggage which was a big deal as the apartment was down over 60 steps. We had seen this in the other reviews so this was totally expected but we were soooo grateful for his help. We had the 2 bedroom apartment, the bedroom/bathroom with the view was unreal, waking up to that was a perfect start to each day. The 2nd bedroom has no windows so just be aware of that if it makes a difference to you. This is located just a bit south of Positano but Pasqual will explain the bus system to you, it is a little confusing without his explanation. We had a car but never moved it once we parked it as we were afraid to not find another parking spot and a little nervous about looking for parking if we took it out exploring. As the other reviews say, you need to be able to do many stairs to come and go from this wonderful spot but the view is worth it. We took a day trip to the Isle of Capri from Praiano Beach which is just a short walk down, but it is a big walk back up, you can take the city bus back as an option which we did. We took the bus to Positano, Amalfi and from there to Ravello which was pretty easy. The bus gets full later in the day so be prepared for that, you may need to wait for several. All in all we loved this place. Thank you for a wonderful and and all your help!!

The apartment was fabulous with a beautiful view of the sea. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our two week stay. Pascale was utterly amazing. So kind and very helpful. We had a couple of dinners cooked for us which we ate out on the balcony. Praiano was a jewel along the Amalfi coast, not too busy but with ample shops and restaurants. It was very easy to get about as there were plenty of buses so no need for a car. I would not hesitate to go back, perfect!

Suited our needs perfectly! Bed was comfortable, kitchen fully equipped, nice terrace with great views! We really enjoyed the quietness of Praiano and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Giovanna's communication is excellent, and we had no trouble finding the apartment as well as finding parking for our rental car. Tip: do not come to the area without visiting the La Tagliata restaurant - best meal we had on the Coast, and they were all good!

We felt so fortunate to have such a warm welcome and very attentive host in Praiano. Pasquale was always willing to help us in any way because He really want us to enjoy our stay in the town that I loved so much. The Location was perfect, there were about 85 stairs to get from the unit to get to a walking path and that wasn't bad compared to other places. It was easy to walk to two restaurants and there was a local bus to help get to others. Praiano was situated between Amalfi and Positano so you could choose to take the bus either way. The unit is extremely clean and comfortable. View from the terrace is absolutely perfect. We can't say enough about Pasquale, he was so friendly and accommodating. Truly a gentleman in every way.

A wonderful place to stay, a beautiful and bright suite, with a breathtaking view from the deck! Praiano is so beautiful, and a quieter town, after going to Positano which was very busy and crowded, we were happy to come back to our little piece of paradise in Praiano! There is a grocery and wine store 5 min walk away, and a very nice restaurant too, also more restaurants within 20 min. walk! Just enough steps to get your exercise, then relax on the deck and enjoy the incredibly beautiful view! Pasquale greeted us with such a warm welcome, he was the kindest, most gracious host ever! Charmingly situated on the hillside accessed via a maze of alleys and steep steps, this apartment was our perfect hideaway. The view from the balcony was everything we had hoped for.
