it was clean, tidy. loved the artwork. it was homely without feeling as if we were intruding.

We had such a lovely stay- 2 adults and 4 children ranging in ages 5-9.. We had loads of space, and the house was packed with toys and equipment that made it a wonderful home from home. The kitchen was fully stocked with equipment and herbs/spices and washing up stuff that made cooking large family meals really easy. The house is ideally located for car trips to Orford Ness or for walking to Thorpeness. The town is a 10 min walk away and there is a Tesco and Co-op directly opposite the property. It is also very well presented and very clean and gorgeous style.

Only niggle with 4 kids was not having a bathroom on the same floor as 3 of the bedrooms and the Internet connection wasn't very strong but absolutely fine for mobile phones.

More crockery/cutlery for a large party

Ease of access, opposite shops, very clean house, near the coast, warm, comfortable beds, good for staying with friends for a few days. Plenty of utensils, includes washing machine and dish washer. Hot water available and wifi available.

Only two bathrooms, one ensuite on the top floor, the other on the ground floor, so visiting the bathroom during the night meant going down and up the stairs for most of the guests. The house was good for four people but would be crowded for eight visitors staying. One problem was the downstairs bathroom door latch got stuck and one guest was unable to open the door from the inside and required assistance from others to get out. A different door latch or lock is required to prevent repetition.

comfortable family house has garden that’s a bonus with outside seating and a trampoline. Tesco express and coop opposite cottage which was very handy. easy walk into Aldeburgh.
