We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend at the lake. We’ve been coming to KY Lake for three years now. This is our second year with our own boat so finding a property with a private dock/boat slip was perfect. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The deck was huge and the fire pit on the point overlooking the lake was a great way to wind down after a long day on the lake. We’ve already booked for next year.

It was wonderful! Lake house was perfect for us. Very, very comfortable and homey. View of lake so pretty and calming. Will love to come again sometime.

This house on the lake was as advertised! It had everything we needed for a great week together. Very comfortable, private and an incredible view of the lake. The covered dock and boat slip was perfect. Lots to do in the area. The owner communicated and accommodated well. We will be back!

Great as usual! Clean house, plenty of space for our family of 6, minutes from DG and a few mom & pop restaurants. Private and quiet. Gas grill, charcoal grill and fire pit. A great place to spend some time away from home.

Wow. Very private and secluded. The house was wonderful it had everything you could want and more. The view of the lake around the house was amazing. You could just sit on the porch and do nothing all day. It was great. The covered and lighted boat dock was great. We fished off of it every night. We met the owners.They were wonderful and very helpful. This was our first time staying there but it won't be our last. We are already planning our trip next year. What a great vacation spot.

The house and location were way better than the pictures. The house is adorable and the location is outstanding. Able to view sunsets over the water. The boat dock was super convenient and really appreciated the dock lights and electric . We already booked next years stay. Thank you for sharing your amazing retreat.

We were in town for a family wedding by the lake. We loved this rental! Five stars are not enough. Not only is the location absolutely beautiful and peaceful, but every amenity you could imagine was provided. It is clean, cozy, modern yet still a bit rustic, and comfortable. Showers and water pressure were excellent, central air was amazing, and beds were perfect. Beautiful outdoor lights. We loved being able to fish off of the private dock. Storms went through while we were there, and Bart messaged us to check in and make sure we were okay. We will most certainly be returning to this sweet little retreat.

This house was great, it was on a cove and it was very quiet. The boat dock was fantastic. We really enjoyed the stay.

Great location. Place had absolutely everything we needed. Owner even stopped in first day to bring us firewood and new coffee maker. Property has plenty of room to keep 2 boat trailers. Highly recommended.

Main reason for trip was to fish with grandson. He is 11 and fished for 4 days. Weather was not ideal so fishing was slow. Finally on our last stay he started catching fish. The joy on his face made the whole trip worth it.

The house has everything you need for a getaway. The property is lovely for rest and relaxation. The host is very responsive.

Second time staying at this property and the consistency of cleanliness, quietness, and comfortableness remained the same. The lake house was perfect for a girls getaway. The view from the house was incredible. The house had everything we needed. We can't stop talking about how much we enjoyed our fall getaway at the lake!

One of the best, cleanest, places on VFBO. Well stocked with everything and more you could ask for. Owner more than willing to help with any problems. (Like figuring out how to lock the electronic lock.) This property is also handicapped friendly. Able to get a wheelchair in and out the door to the car and back. Thanks for everything!

Barts Lakefront Cabin is the BEST! Our second stay here…can’t wait until next year! Super clean, convenient location but secluded and quiet! Sunrise coffee on the deck, fishing off the dock, fireside evenings! Couldn’t be any better!! Our tv NEVER was on as we spent all of our time enjoying outside! Even nicer than the listing and Bart is a great host always available with quick responses if needed. Don’t hesitate to book this!

This property is at a great location & the house was AWESOME! This place is a personal retreat. We enjoyed the days even when the weather forced us to stay at the house. The outdoor swing & hammock made our mornings relaxing and calm. The dock provided a great place to fish and to park the rented pontoon boat as we stopped in for lunch! The open deck in the back had lots of seating and was great to hang out on when friends stopped by. Inside was just as relaxing. The cozy enclosed patio was perfect for escaping the mosquitoes. The extra frig was over the top!!! We really appreciated it along with refillable ice trays! Very handy! There were 4 of us and the 2 bedrooms & 2 baths were perfect! Those are just a few things we loved about this personal retreat. We look forward to coming back!

The lake view is amazing day or night! The property is tucked away on a quiet no-outlet road which was incredibly peaceful. The cabin is as described, very clean, and well stocked. Fun for the kids and a relaxing time for me and my wife. The pictures on the listing do not do this property justice! Wonderful place, with an amazing view, and a cozy cabin!

Great stay and availability to the lake. Just a few wants for next time. Ladder on boat dock. Hard to swim on dock and get out without one. Air vents need a good cleaning out. Over all a great stay for us. Kitchen well stocked. The beds need a replacement thought not to our liking.

Had a great stay as usual. Will be back.

Third stay with my family and we will be back next year! The views are perfect! The lake house, boat docks (2), and location are wonderful. Bart called to check on everything at the house because he was aware a severe storm rolled through the day we were to arrive. Until next year….

Beautiful property and location! The boat lift and dock was definitely a bonus. If we come back to Kentucky Lake we will definitely stay here again it had everything we needed. Only thing that could be an improvement is the master bed was very squeaky when rolling over and the sheets didn’t seem to stay on.

The view was perfect, the home was comfortable and well maintained. I look to come again from now forward.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There’s a lake view from every window. Home is well kept and comfortable.

The last couple years me and 2 military buddies had made it a point to get together 1 week a year since we live states apart. This year we came to this lake house on Kentucky Lake and it was great. We had a blast fishing and catching up and definitely plan to come back here again.

We enjoyed our stay. We took our boat for fishing and tubing. The Jonathan Creek area was pretty calm and quiet for both. The boat ramp is about 5 minutes away and easy to get to. There is a Dollar General minutes up the road. The house is clean. It has a dishwasher, washer and dryer and everything you need to feel at home. We have stayed twice now and had great experiences both times. Highly recommend.
