The cabin was great nice place to stay. No pets allowed which was fine made arrangements for my dogs. Trying to sit outside to enjoy the weather and all you hear is barking dogs

We stayed for our anniversary and striper fishing. GPS takes you right to the location. The area is quiet and safe. The host, Monte, went above and beyond with communication. I am a little sad we never met. The beds, pillows and linens are top notch. The furniture is comfortable.

Mr. Monte was an awesome host. He lives next door to the property and took very good care of us. He was there to greet us and made sure everything was in good working order while we were there. We parked the boat next to his house when we got there but found the best place to park was in the front of his property along the road. It was easier to get the boat on the road from there and was very safe to leave it there during the night. His cabin is just down the road from Mill Creek Marina. The water level at the lake was low while we were there as there was a drought. It was a little difficult getting in and out of the lake with our pontoon boat. If you have a big boat you might want to try another marina to launch your boat if the water is low, but I would definitely make a point to stay with him. I am also and Evolve owner so it was good to experience what someone else does at their property. Mr. Monte sets the bar high for the rest of us. I'll definitely stay with him again. This is a well kept property in a quite neighborhood. We loved that movies and games we’re available. We didn’t get to spend much time at the property. It was pleasant.

It was a great getaway for the weekend. When I arrived, all the lights were on welcoming me. The house was clean and well stocked. There was a huge selection of dvds and games in addition to Netflix and other options. The outside patio was perfect for enjoying breakfast and even star gazing. It is located about 15 minutes away from Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge which offered scenic hiking trails along Lake Texhoma . My only suggestion for the rental would be to put new numbers on the mailbox since they are hard to read currently. I missed the turn the first time and had to circle back around. If you’re planning a trip, this is a perfect place to stay.

Wife and I had an awesome weekend staying here!!!....we were very comfortable!!...heck if we hadn't gone fishing we would have been more than happy just staying there and relaxing but the striper were calling!!... Thank you again for having us!!..We will hopefully be back very soon!!!

An excellent location with wonderful hosts!

This is the third stay here. Everything was perfect as always for our needs. Enjoy our morning coffee and short drive to and from our slip at mill creek.

Don't let the external appearance in the pictures fool you, this place is completely updated inside and it is very nice. It is strategically located to the lake and anything you may need is a very short drive including a great grocery store within 10 minutes. Everything is as listed or better, Wi-Fi is excellent! There is a restaurant on the lake with a wonderful water view that has a fantastic burger. The property manager and owner are extraordinary people and are eager to respond to anything you may need. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, I will definitely be back. Thanks for sharing this place with us!

This was our second time to stay here and we will be staying again in two weeks. It’s a perfect location for us to mill creek marina and our boat slip. We live in frisco abs enjoy getting away for the weekend. It’s always clean, good wifi for the kids to wind down on Netflix in the evening and a great patio for morning coffee.

Nice cozy little lodge. The property was spotless, and had everything we needed. Monte is a fabulous host/owner, so friendly & kind. We really enjoyed how close we were to launch the boat & Brookshires is 10 minutes away for groceries & essentials. We most certainly will be back. .

This property was perfect for us. Two bedrooms with great mattresses. Very clean. Perfect location To Mill Creek Marina and our slip. We will be using this VRBO more often hopefully.

I must say I have never experienced the welcoming that we received from Monte and his girlfriend. They were waiting on our arrival and made us feel so comfortable, at home and safe. And on top of all that the cabin was exceptional. I can go on and on but I don't have enough space. We will definitely visit again... Thank you Monte!

Monte was a great pleasure to talk to. The beds and pillows are awesome. Some of the best sleep we ever had! In fact, we are buying some of the pillows for our house.

My family and I had a nice girl’s weekend! The weather was terrible, but we were still comfortable and had a good time because we had everything we needed for a relaxing indoor adventure. There was a weird error with the booking system (be sure to double check your reservation confirmation dates, because the internet is weird!), but Monte was so accommodating and got it straightened out for us right away!

This is a really nice property and was perfect for what we were looking for. We spent the days at Lake Texoma and really wanted a quiet place to cook breakfast in the mornings, dinner in the evenings, and sleep there. This place went beyond that, but was perfect! The house/cabin was renovated in the last year and looked great inside and out with comfortable beds, new appliances, an outdoor grill and new patio furniture. Perfect for a family or weekend get away and the host/owner Monte was extremely friendly and accommodating!

We had a lovely weekend. The cottage was very clean, modern and a quiet location. We felt safe. It was a short drive (about a 1.5 miles) to the lake but the host gave us excellent directions how to get there.

Really nice TV. We played some of the games that were supplied. We just had a great time! It is very clean!!! Spotless! Which is extremely important to us. We typically don’t expect that from a lake house and will end up cleaning but this place was beyond our expectations. We arrived late at night with our boat and met the neighbor that was so helpful. We had brought our boat which was too big for the property but he helped us back it out the next day. So if you meet the neighbor he is a super sweet man and will help you out with anything you need. Just FYI don’t bring anything bigger than probably a 25ft boat with a big truck? I don’t know call ahead. Ours was a 33ft trailer with our large truck and it was just a tad too large but there is parking down below to the left of the drive way and we had plenty of space. Everyone in the area is so nice and it’s very private there too. All the neighbors are awesome! If you call ahead the manager can try to rent you a slip at the marina too. The marina is right down the road and is not busy at all. The entire lake is so beautiful it’s a hidden gem! We were there Labor Day fully expecting a busy lake an it was not busy. Cold AC , Beautiful woods around with deer in the area, close enough to a city but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Lots of privacy to enjoy a weekend or an entire week. We rent a lot of VRBO houses and we rarely are impressed with the lake cabins or mountain cabins. This one was a home run. We will be back and it’s an 11 hour drive for us! Thank you!
