My first impression of the outside of the property, Wow, right on the beach pedestrian promenade. Entering the ground floor property, the furnishings and cleanliness was first rate. Everything we have in our own kitchen was here, even quality wine glasses. Perfect nights sleep, daytime watching the waves directly in front, was mesmerizing Less than 2 minutes from the centre square and the same to the large Co op Superstore. Our only disappointment, every night about 6 pm, after a perfect sunny day, the clouds and rain rolled in, so there was no Northern Lights to see. Top rated hostess. Highly recommended. .

We had a lovely week here. The accommodation is exactly as described - surprisingly spacious and perfectly clean! Location on the seafront is stunning and lots of lovely inns / pubs / restaurants nearby Communication from owner was first class An excellent choice - highly recommended.

We had a great time. The facilities were excellent and Frances had left all manner of treats to welcome us. Parking is just round the corner and it was no problem.There are fabulous views of the sea from the flat. I have no hesitation in recommending this property.

We stayed here over new year and had a fantastic time the fireballs on New Year’s Eve were amazing, as were the fireworks The flat is spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything you need The views are stunning and the surrounding area is beautiful for walks Frances is a great host and has everything well organised she provided us with lovely treats which added a special touch to our stay. This will be one of the most memorable New Years we have had, we won’t forget our most enjoyable stay in Stonehaven.

Wonderful apartment, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Many lovely treats , biscuits, chocolates etc greeted us on our arrival. Perfect location , close to the shops but the views of the ocean right at the windows.

We were were in need of a break away somewhere with great views and lovely walks. We certainly found it here. The apartment was fantastic, with the views of the sea we loved. All the little extra made it even more special.

The manager of this property could lead a Masterclass in hospitality. Every detail about our stay was perfect, and the little touches around the place were amazing. Stonehaven is a great location, and having a place like this to stay makes it worth recommending and worth going back to again and again.

We could have just sat looking at the ever changing views through the windows but we would have missed so much. Stoney is lovely in itself but also a gateway to other great places, on foot, by car, bus or train. The apartment is fabulous; very clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The thought and attention to detail that went into making our stay truly home from home was clearly evident. The whole team involved have created a fabulous experience. We loved it.

Fantastic from beginning to end. Frances was very helpful. House lovely, very clean. Left lots of special touches especially for the children with Easter. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Hopefully be back soon.

Views from the window look right onto the beach where you can just sit and watch the waves. Great location for exploring Stonehaven and the surrounding area. The walk to the castle is lovely and well worth a visit. Balmoral Castle isn't too far away and is a great way to spend a few hours. Would definitely recommend the flat to anyone.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, comfortable, convenient and Frances made sure we had everything we needed. The unexpected gifts were particularly welcome. Bars and restaurants were all good and there were plenty of walking opportunities so we didn’t need a car. Thank you Frances for making our stay special

Have only good things to say about this beautiful apartment! A visit to Stoney, 'a walk down memory lane', and the accommodation just added to what was a great family holiday. With lovely furnishings, extremely clean, everything you could possible need, and all the little 'extras' left by the owner was very thoughtful. Also our arrival at the accommodation was on an extremely stormy day (the only one!) and again the owner made our entry as smooth as possible. The location is amazing, got to watch the sea in all it's 'glory' & great for people watching! And you are a stone's through away from great walks, great cafes, and some superb fish & chips! Really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment overlooking the beach, so peaceful with a fantastic view. All the little extras that Frances left were much appreciated, a lovely touch! Correspondence was brilliant and very precise with lots of information on local things to do and where to eat. We would definitely recommend this absolutely stunning apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this tastefully decorated well equipped flat! Lots of extras were provided and communication with owner was excellent. A friend joined us for a couple of nights and she too was impressed by the high standard throughout.

This is a fantastic apartment right next to the shingle beach with a walkway in between. If you love watching the sea then this is for you. Both the lounge and kitchen have lovely big windows giving uninterrupted views across the water. Watch the sun rise. Apartment is very clean and comfortable and owner’s attention to detail (with extras) made us feel very welcome. If you don’t want to eat out at this time there’s an excellent butchers and bakers close by and a very good Cooperative round the corner. Would definitely recommend this apartment in Stonehaven for a relaxing break.

We had a wonderful relaxing break and were able to get a few coastal walks in. The flat was superb and had everything we needed including the sea just a few yards away. First class.

From the moment we entered the property we felt we were on holiday. We have always stayed in apartments, cottages, etc., but did feel slightly concerned on this occasion because of Covid. The property was excellent on all counts, cleanliness and comfort. There were lots of lovely treats left for us which we didn’t think there would be, again because of Covid, so it was a lovely surprise. We were about 20 yards from the sea and the view from the lounge and kitchen was superb. A lot of time could be wasted looking out the window. There are lots of lovely walks to seek out in Stonehaven. The one to the Castle is very scenic and the kiosk selling hot drinks, etc. is very welcome. Also we sat outside at the Golf Club looking down into the town enjoying tea and cake. We would certainly recommend the Tolbooth Seafood Restaurant for lunch, more expensive in the evening and a table overlooking the harbour is very nice. The property surpassed our expectations in all ways and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Looking for an immaculate, cosy, modern flat, a comfy bed and a relaxing break with a stunning sea view? ... then this is where you want to be! Apart from the fantastic view, this location has so much to commend it. You don’t need to use a car. It is very central for all the local shops, has lots of eating places very nearby and a good sized, well stocked supermarket is within a 3 minute walk. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
