Clean and comfortable with great views of the ocean and beach

Dominick was super responsive to every communication. Amenities were as described, and more.

Property was clean. Bedding and towels provided, a nice plus. Kitchen had everything necessary for cooking. Great communications with owner. Will rent again.

Great spot to have family vacation.. easy access to beach.. and stores, yet private and quiet. Wonderful views of the ocean and bay and lots of room. Owner is very responsive with communication and answers almost right away.

Domenick's place was great to stay at for the week of the 4th of July. Location can't be beat. Only downside we had was the A/C not working at certain periods of time.

Our family had an enjoyable mid-October week here. The multiple balconies and views are stunning, especially the 4th floor deck w/ 360 degree panoramas. Note: May not be a house for little ones with interior open steps. The outdoor furniture, including: huge dining table & chairs, Adirondack chairs, padded wrap around sofa, etc were excellent. We had great weather but the preceding storms eliminated the beach front access with a dangerous 25 ft dune cliff. Access is 3 short blocks away. The duplex is well appointed with towels, sheets, pillows and appliances, however there is a need for some maintenance. The off-season value for our money could not be beat, but discriminating renters may be turned off by the worn coastal chic. We were not and would return.

Wonderful stay at LBI. Porch was great and the views from the balcony were beautiful. Although the home is a duplex , it felt private. Space was a bit tight, but furniture was very comfy. The host was very accommodating. The bathrooms could use an update but overall everything was cozy.

From the day we found this house on VRBO all the way until we got home from our vacation we were never let down or disappointed. The property makes you feel at home and the views are spectacular from the patios and rooftop.

Great location, beautiful sunrises and sunsets… amenities though, are outdated and in need of repair or replacement. Mattresses were uncomfortable. Was charged top dollar for location+Cleaning fees. I expected better accommodations for the price.

Very clean and perfectly located ON the beach. We enjoyed our stay completely. The house was very clean and the area was quiet. Dominick was a gracious host.

We just spent a fabulous week in Domenick's lovely home. By far the best thing about the home is the proximity to the beach, and if you just feel like resting; sitting on the one of the three decks taking in the glorious views is a wee slice of heaven. Watching the sunset from the top deck with a nice cocktail in hand was a particular treat. Thanks Domenick, we had a blast!

Overall was a good time. Couple issues with the house that nobody could really control. No beach access because erosion cause a 10 ft drop off straight down from top of the dune. It’s an older house that could use some updating. It’s a duplex and the walls were thin. You could hear every move the neighbor made. Also there were ants crawling about on every floor. Was a lil worried about taking hitchhikers home. Owner has ant traps out so they are trying to remedy the issue. The deck views were amazing so for me that made up for any issues we came across. Owner was very nice and checked on us few times a week. I recommend renting this place. I will definitely rent again in the future.again every issue I mentioned is not in anyones control

I really enjoyed waking up to a view of the ocean every morning. The house was very comfortable. There was beautiful outdoor furniture and our kids loved the game room.

We loved hearing and seeing the ocean from the decks of the house. The main level deck was great with a comfy couch and ottoman and a beautiful dining set.

Very clean, anything you need at your reach, decks more than we visualized…. Many memories made last week from that roof top and porch. Most time spent on the beach or the deck…. Thank you Dominick!!!

First- this is a rental directly on the beach with three ocean view decks. So that alone helps mitigate the inconveniences. That said, there were a few. When we arrived, the kitchen faucet only trickled a small amount of water. It became clear that the area under the sink, inside the cabinet, was flooded. I called the owner who mentioned that his maintenance guy didn’t work on Sunday’s, My wife cleaned up the mess, dried everything out and I fixed the faucet. Not something you plan to do on vacation. Second, the listing didn’t mention that it is a duplex, with another owner occupied unit next door. The ad is slightly misleading leading you to think it is for the whole house. That’s not too big of a deal, but with kids we were very concerned about bothering the neighbors. At one point, we lost power to all the bedrooms. I spent an hour trying to figure out why. I couldn’t find any breakers tripped. After calling the owner I was instructed to remove a painting on the wall to access another old style breaker. It wasn’t even really in a box, just surface mounted. That did the trick but was also an inconvenience. Several lights were out in the stairwells leading to the roof top deck making it precarious in the dark. Couldn’t figure out how to turn off the exterior motion activated spot light outside the master bedroom on deck. That made it unusable at night. Some Screens were missing from the windows and the screen in the master bed sliding door was torn. This was disappointing as you couldn’t open the windows to let the ocean breeze in and listen to surf. Also, the sliding door in the master bedroom wouldn’t lock so the home wasn’t secure. Other little things- the bar on the outdoor shower is loose resulting in an situation where you get locked in by accident. The fan in the bedroom makes a staccato noise like a train moving down tracks that makes it impossible to sleep with it on. In general, maintenance seems to be lacking. The first floor bathroom is very very tiny. The patio furniture was in disrepair and some of the chairs were broken and unusable. Now the good! The location is great. The views were awesome. Perfect for sun rises and sunsets. There is a nice game room in the garage for kids to play. There were boogie boards for kids and some beach toys and chairs/umbrellas which we’re convenient.

My family enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. Walking right up and onto the beach is a treat, and relaxing on the outdoor sofa on the deck is perfect on a breezy evening. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table and pop-a-shot, too. Plenty of driveway parking. Holgate is our favorite spot on LBI. Quiet, but still only a short drive to Beach Haven for food and fun.

Excellent location for enjoying the Beach that is just steps away from the house and close enough to Restaurants (all types) to enjoy eating out or pick-up! Beautiful shore house with 3x decks with 360 degree view on top deck and a covered lower deck to hang out in all kinds of weather. Also has plenty of beach supplies and adult game room!!

While there were some minor issues … key word… MINOR… we liked it enough to rebook next year …fun in the sun for sure … thank you Domenick !!!

This house was perfect location for me and my adult family. You have direct access to the beach. There was plenty of space for use not to be in each others way. And the selection of decks was a treat.

This house is set in a residential neighborhood, but is literally right on the beach! No streets to cross, unobstructed views day and night. The multiple decks offer great spaces to gather in, whether in the sun or the shade. The kitchen/family living area was also quite adequate during a day we had with inclement weather. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and cookware. We also all enjoyed the bikes, darts, basketball and ping pong downstairs.

We had such a glorious time even in a lil chilly off season, and so what we needed! It is an older house but it's as advertised and was totally comfortable and stocked with just about anything you might need plus++. Of course, it is literally in the best location, right on the beach, walkway right there & South LBI so super nice & quiet, The decks provide phenomenal views, especially from the rooftop 360, Sunrise to sunset - WOW!. We will definitely be going back again! THANK YOU!!!

Spacious rental with extremely well equipped kitchen for home cooked seafood meals, three decks to entertain on or sunbath while listening to the ocean surf, comfortable beds... sleeps eight, quiet surroundings and 360 degree views from top deck... ideal for viewing sunrises and sunsets!

I was looking for a last minute oceanfront getaway, and found this home that was even more than I had hoped for! Domenick was a fantastic host and was quick to reply to any questions. The house is well stocked including paper towels and the like, so you won’t need to bring a large supply. There’s a public beach path right next to the house which is convenient for trips down to the beach. The decks on the home are incredible! I spent most of my time on the deck off of the master bedroom where you can enjoy beautiful sunrises where you’ll have fantastic sunlight most of the day. The other deck I used was the rooftop deck which has panoramic views and allows you to enjoy the sunrise over the ocean as well as spectacular sunsets over Long Beach Island. The furniture is very comfortable, although the bed in the master bedroom was hard. The deck furniture is all new and in great condition (and I didn’t use the grill or beach chairs so I can’t comment on those as I was there off season). Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great beachfront vacation in a home that’s well appointed with a fantastic host!
