Amazing spot on Lake Burton!

Great place! Really enjoyed the house and the lake.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 7 and our dog. The location on Lake Burton was beautiful. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away to relax and recharge. There are plenty of sights and activities to visit nearby and this area of the country is a great place to visit.

The home was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. It is nestled in a quiet cove with lots of trees, but the location is close to Clayton and some great hikes. We enjoyed our time here.

We had such a wonder, relaxing time at the cabin. The screened porch was fantastic and the cabin was well stocked with any amenity one could possibly need. We will definitely return!

We fell in love with Lake Burton during our stay! The house was in excellent order and is incredibly well located on the lake. The cove is quiet but right off the main basin. We rented a boat and docked it at the house, which was lovely. Overall wonderful experience :)

The house was perfect! Wonderful location, clean and organized. We had the best time.

Our stay was just what we needed.. The house had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the ‘floating island’. We definitely would recommend staying here. We’ll be back next year!

This was our first time staying on lake burton. I knew a little of what to expect from some family who’s stayed on the lake and lives in Georgia. We were so happy with our cabin and can’t wait to return. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our week on the lake. We rented a boat and we were able to keep it right there at the cabin. The kids had so much fun swimming off the dock. The kitchen was big enough for us five to move around and cook and eat at the large dinning table. Our dog loved the water and was sad to leave as were we. James was very easy to communicate with and was very kind and helpful. There are very large homes on Lake Burton…this might not be one of those but you don’t feel like it’s any less impressive. The fire pit, the view, the porches, and the comfort are top notch. We would love to return.

We had a wonderful time once again at this true “PARADISE point” which as pictured includes 2 porches, a lake view, a dock for your own boat or rental, all in a beautiful wooded setting. I enjoyed the peaceful bird sounds while reading on the screened porch in the swing. The house is clean and comfortable with very nice decor. The hosts have provided all the basics and even some things you may forget. Bring your groceries so you don’t have to leave, but if you do there are some great area suggestions in a notebook for good restaurants or outdoor activities. We enjoyed the waterfalls and feeding the huge rainbow trout at the Mark of the Potter. Celebrated both my husband’s birthday and also a special Mother’s Day with our grownup children and our dogs. What could be better? Hmmm I’m thinking not having to leave so soon! I don’t think you will regret renting this property and will probably make it a family tradition. K. Norris May 5th- 9th 2022

Based on the online photos, we anticipated we would have a great time, but our experience was even better than expected. We have pretty busy lives, and this property was the perfect place to relax and recharge over Spring Break. The Lake house is beautiful and has everything you need or want. The location is great and very private, but with some very friendly neighbor dogs that like to visit. There are some great family-friendly hikes nearby as well. The weather was a bit cold this week, so we didn't get as much lake time as we wanted, so we hope to visit again over the summer!

The property was all we could want. Close to all area attractions, spacious and very well maintained.

This property checked all the boxes. ✔️Clean ✔️Stylish Lakehouse ✔️On the Lake, with a beautiful view ✔️Fireplace, and outdoor fire pit ✔️Short and beautiful drive to see waterfalls and rushing streams. Pack your ice chest, 20 minutes to the nearest supermarket. I hope I get to come back.

Super clean and well equipped. One king and one queen share a “Jack and Jill bathroom”. Bunk room has 8 built-in bunk beds and there is a second bathroom. The kitchen is spacious and nicely organized. A dinning table for 8 plus counter seats. For dinning. This property is beautifully decorated with a rustic cabin feel without being overwhelming,y country. Very quiet!

We loved our time at this adorable cottage on Lake Burton! The house was nicely updated, very clean, and had everything you could possibly need. The kids loved the bunk room. Great view of the lake from the back deck and screened porch, and the dock offered an amazing view of the cove. The splash pad in lake kept the kids entertained for hours. We hope to be back soon!

Our family had a great time at this cabin on Lake Burton. Everything inside had been completely redone and it was very nice and clean. The cove was really nice for swimming and hanging out on the dock. Would highly recommend.

What a treat to stay in this fantastic house on Lake Burton. Our family loved spending time on the dock. We swam and kayaked in the quiet cove. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed grilling on the back porch and eating at some local restaurants, like Universal Joint in downtown Clayton. The home was clean, communication was excellent, and we hope to return someday soon.

Wonderful. Secluded. Perfect for small children. Great for big families with lots of kids !

We had a wonderful stay! House is adorable, clean and exactly as pictured. Bonus points for having some extra touches on site like coffee and tea, ziploc bags and spices! Location is the very back of a cove as you can see in the pics, but there was plenty of room and depth for our rented 24” tritoon, and the kids loved the water mat.

On the lake, quiet little cabin, Well appointed and comfortable. Nice little dock to fish and quiet cove to enjoy the birds and stillness of the lake.

This "cabin" has all the convenience and comfort of a modern home but retains the old-fashioned charm of what was originally a fishing camp structure (completely renovated and expanded). Tucked away at the end of a small cove, it was especially peaceful @ Christmas. We truly enjoyed our stay and it's great for social distancing and being safe.

There’s no better place to cook thanksgiving dinner than a house with a lake view from the kitchen! The owners have done a great job of maximizing space and adding cute comfortable style. One odd feature was the two “masters” shared a bathroom. This wasn’t obvious to me in the listing. It ended up working out fine as there is another full bathroom but we felt like with.4 adults and two kids you couldn’t have too many more bodies in this house. We loved the porch area when it was warm enough to sit out there!

What a wonderful stay! There were 4 of us all over 60 who have been in our own health conscious pod since Covid began... so first, we really appreciated the cleanliness of the cabin. Second, we really appreciated the property with its gentle slope to the water. There seem to be a lot of properties around beautiful Lake Burton with LOTS of stairs involved, so this was great not to have that. We had our two old dogs with us who appreciated that too! Even with the back stairs off the house, one could always us the front entrance to walk to the back with no stairs involved. There were so many sitting areas to have to yourself. From the huge screened porch to the covered back porch to the living room to the fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs around it facing lake, to the dock in the lake with 2 Adirondack chairs and benches. Not to mention the two lake facing bedrooms. We used them all, and was wonderful to have To spread out during the day. The kitchen was very well appointed. We brought all our food, but Clayton was very close by and a pretty little drive two different ways. Pantry was huge. Kitchen was large, and lots of counter space to prep food, ...put all our things. Gas grill was great to use! Every night before it got dark, we’d turn the string of lights on hung around the back of house, Build a bonfire, and have drinks around the fire pit and look out at the beautiful lake. Was a wonderful getaway from the world in a very special place. The cottage was beautifully decorated with lots Of thoughtful touches from candles to throw blankets to the chopped wood. All of the porch and deck and outside furniture was sturdy, high end and comfortable. It was truly a hidden gem.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay though Hurricane Zeta caused us to cut it short. Town of Clayton was super cute and the property had much to offer!

We absolutely enjoyed this peaceful retreat lakeside in the mountains. Staying in the cabin with a screened in porch, campfire, and a pier on the lake provided plenty to do on site. The cabin is also a close drive to many hiking trails and to downtown Helen for some sight seeing or eating. The week long retreat went by too fast. We will be back again!

Perfect location to relax and explore. Tons of amenities. Family had a great time.
