Beautiful house right on the water. The view from the bedrooms makes you feel like you're on a ship looking out onto the water, absolutely stunning. Nice neighborhood, very quiet off-season. Thank you for opening up your home to my family for the holidays!

What an amazing find. Directly on the water, beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Steve was very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. We came for a girls weekend and we have all been raving about this house since we left.

We went for a long weekend, just to get away without traveling a long distance. We wanted to be by the ocean, This house is right on the ocean so we fell asleep to the sounds of the waves lapping up (sometimes crashing up) against the seawall. We watched the sunrise each morning from the deck. The house was so well appointed, we were able to cook almost all of our meals there. We were a bit off season so it was very quiet in the neighborhood. We spent one afternoon in Chester which was a short drive away and has some nice shops and extremely friendly residents. Another day, we drove the short distance to the Clinton Outlets for a bit of shopping. One day was mostly stormy but we loved watching the activity of the ocean. I would most definitely return to the house, even in winter for another rejuvenating weekend.

We were in town to see our kid at the Coast Guard academy and this home was an awesome home base!! Quiet neighborhood and close to everything we wanted. Grocery stores, restaurants, evening walks and beautiful beach mornings!! The home has been renovated and has all of the modern touches. Awesome stay!! 5 stars!

Cottage is directly on the water…everything is new and very clean…it was off season, so you can walk a few steps to Westbrook Town Beach. Great location for beach, shopping, restaurants and golf and also a good walking neighborhood.

I rented with my parents and brought my two kids (age 4 and 7). It was the perfect location at low tide to explore the sea life and enjoy the water and to fish at high tide. So relaxing. Definitely would book again!

We spent a week here with family visiting us for a day trip. Rooms are light and airy. My husband is disabled with a brain injury and found the pocket doors a problem. He kept locking himself in or out of the room. stairs up to front door and inside were a struggle for us. Better for younger folks.

Our stay in Westbrook was just about perfect! Steve was easy to communicate with, and his home is just beautiful, and immaculate. We enjoyed reading on the deck, walks along the beach and the marina down the street. We also loved walking out on the sandbars that reach way, way out in the sound. The house had everything we needed, and we loved cooking in. The location I gave a 4 star because of the difficulty parking. It’s very tight to pull into if the neighbors car is in their driveway. This house allows for two cars, so with five of us coming in on different days, and from all over New England, the back and forth loading unloading at the community parking area was the only downfall for us. We loved our time there, and would definitely rent again.

As with all of our many stays at this property, everything was absolutely perfect! Steve continues to make upgrades to enhance the comfortability, desirability and convenience of the cottage. It is perfectly located with perfect Long Island sound views in a quiet and comfortable setting. We could not be more satisfied and cannot fully convey the enjoyment we experience during our relaxing stays in this incredible venue!

We had a wonderful stay in Westbrook for spring break. The house is beautiful and the location is superb. We enjoyed the beautiful location and weather with walks, bike rides and just taking in the stunning views! We would love to return.

We spent Thanksgiving week visiting family in Connecticut, and this location was central for us. We always rent a house when we go on vacation, and I will have to say this home was one of the nicest we’ve stayed at. It has been beautifully remodeled, clean and well equipped. The views are amazing. We had one small problem our first night there. The owner and property manager were quick to respond and the problem was fixed by the next morning. Since we were there at the end of November it was quiet, but I can see this property being a great, fun place to rent in the summer. It’s close to town and is easy access to the whole shoreline. Overall, highly recommended.

We’ve rented this property for the past several years. Excellent home and views, a few steps outside the back to the water. Beaches to the right and left, if interested. Lots to see and do locally, or you can just enjoy the privacy of the Long Island Sound. We floated around on tubes each day and enjoyed walking out during low tide to the sandbars. Got in a nice walk each morning as well. Excellent shopping and restaurants. Along with movies and more!

We have stayed in this home for years and it still feels brand new. My children look forward to their week in July each year. The house is very clean and has everything you need. West Beach is such a unique hidden gem. The owner is a pleasure to correspond with.

Amazing
What a beautiful setting, house is directly overlooking the water...practically in the water!. We spent two weeks waking up in a gorgeous primary bedroom—with spectacular water views, which was so calming and peaceful. The home was immaculate with all the high-tech needs for today's world, as I had to work a little and the internet speed was fantastic.
Dinners on the main deck were so enjoyable as we grilled and listened to the water ripple ashore. My oldest son enjoyed the comfortable hammock and would often drift asleep.
We had such an enjoyable time in this beautiful home . Steven thought to provide everything a family need while being away from home. We look forward to returning!

Perfection
Pictures don’t do this place justice. This home has amazing energy, incredible views, is clean and cozy and modern and the most perfect getaway. Communication with the host was easy and clear. What a find. We can’t wait to come back.

Our 7th Visit
And first during the winter - cold, rainy, but lobster still available, Steve’s cottage well stocked with amenities and all we needed for another great and memorable stay. That said, we’re really looking forward to our two weeks in June! New furniture and window treatments are great!
