Many thanks to Jill Russell and their glorious home! We did plenty of nothing in this well stocked home and enjoyed every listed (and unlisted) amenity provided. From drinking coffee on the deck or on the patio on the cool and scenic mornings, to the after dinner drinks on the deck and toasting the beautiful sunsets, we could not have asked for a more calm and peaceful setting. We enjoyed each fire pit on separate evenings and both provided unforgettable conversations and laughter. Not to mention the countless smores enjoyed by all. We even took our "city" pets and they also got to enjoy the "Lake Life". We cast our lines in the morning and let them sit until the poles danced and they danced alright! We caught a huge golden carp and two catfish. Released them but of course took our share of pics right before. Could go on and on but, but if you're reading this, you'll just have to experience it for yourself. This oasis is just far enough from our hustle and bustle but close enough to escape for a few days. We stayed here for a Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. It was wonderful - clean, spacious, lots of toys and games, beautiful backyard, everything we needed in the kitchen. We would definitely stay again. Hosts were great and responsive.

Our family of 4 has a great time staying at this property. It was clean, the layout was perfect, and the we had a great view of the lake. Can’t wait to plan another trip!

We really enjoyed this place. It was so peaceful. We rented a boat from Cherokee Landing (very reasonably priced… highly recommend) so the boat dock was awesome to have. I didn’t see it on the listing but the water at the steps was shallow enough to walk in so it was the perfect place for the 3 year old to play. Overall had a great time.

I booked this place as a surprise for my husband's 30th birthday. We had four of our closest friends there and had a blast! You get an absolutely perfect view of the sunset and sunrise. The neighbors are super friendly, which is good because the houses are fairly close to each other. We also brought our dogs and they had a great time exploring the yard and speaking to the neighbors. There was ample seating inside for all six adults plus the dogs, and we all had comfortable beds. One of our friends even slept on the reclining couch by choice (even though she had a bed) because the couch was SO comfortable! The kitchen is very well stocked with essentials, and the cabinets are full of games to keep yourself entertained. We had a great relaxing stay!

We had a great time. Was able to dock the pontoon by tying up to the dock. Kids had a lot of fun using the kayaks. Grilled lots of food and enjoyed the view.

My kids loved the spider swing!!! The yard is just perfect with large shade trees and a gorgeous view. We loved all the windows across the back of the entire house. Our only wish, would be a TV in the main living area, but it was great. We would stay there again!

Really the only issue was that it is really a family forward property. We are seniors and was a little disappointed that the bikes advertised were children’s bikes. Also the master was a queen not a king and the neighbors had their boat parked in front of this property.

Nicely updated lakefront home! We had 3 adult couples and 2 year old twins, so staying in a home was so much nicer than multiple hotel rooms! The toddlers could be put to bed and we were all able to continue to enjoy relaxing outside. My brother who lives nearby was able to pick us up by boat to go to Vernon’s Dockside for dinner, and then dock the boat for after dinner drinks and sunset views on the party deck.

Our family met here for Thanksgiving as a central location for everyone. It was so much fun and very relaxing. We enjoyed fishing, making s’mores and the kids played on the swings. It was a great time for all!

Great trip with family over July 4th. The lake house was even better in person than the pictures show. I'm always nervous about the cleanliness of rental properties but this place was spotless & very confortable. Everything looked brand new. Great dock for fishing off and the kids were able to swim off it too, even the dog was able to get in with them. All of this made for a great few days of relaxation and fun. We had a ball & will definetly be back.

Had a great time. The lake is right there, we brought out canoes and were able to let the kids paddle around the cove with no worries and the whole group was able to get out on the lake for a fun paddle. Lots of birds like to fly into the cove in the mornings and there always seemed to be hungry fish ready to eat a piece of hotdog placed on the line. The kitchen was great for whipping up a quick meal and the grill was used nightly for steaks and burgers. I really liked the master bed and the fact that it has its own AC unit so I could freeze that room out without giving the rest of the house frostbite. Also the stargazing from the deck over the dock at night couldn't be beat.

We loved this cozy getaway. The kids had a blast and enjoyed the tranquil backyard looking towards the lake. This house had all that we were looking for---we already scheduled another trip in the fall:)

Wonderful house, from the metal roof to the plush carpet, I loved so many things. The sunsets in the perfect spot from the yard and Living room. Beautiful dining table is where I was drinking wine watching the kids play the abundance of games and puzzles. Fishing off the dock for the older kids was very eventful. The beds are all comfortable and the open concept kept everyone close together and the cooks were a part of the action too. Good selection of movies at night. The cabinet bed is the coolest thing ever. The master bed head lifts like a hospital bed was so relaxing after a hot day. Walked around the neighborhood at night, so nice.We ate great Mexican food nearby too. We can't wait to go back.

My family and I (wife and 3 kids) had a wonderful time at the lake house. The kids enjoyed playing in the lake and fishing. While my wife and I absolutely loved watching the sunset off the dock and from the comfort of the living room. We can't wait to go back and stay again. We had a great time, and the hosts were very responsive to all our questions.

We had a great stay at the lake house!! It is well maintained and wonderful extra touches like a pack and play for our little. We enjoyed the backyard and loved the evening sunset on the deck. We already booked another trip in the fall:)

Well maintained, clean, open. Entire lake side of home is windows and patio doors. Sunset is awesome. Fishing and swimming right off the dock. Kids can stand in water about 3 feet deep. Ladder to get in and out of the water. Quiet, no traffic. We actually had 12 people sleep over 1 night. Couches are comfortable. Plan to return
