It was nice, there was an ant problem in our unit. Did not find a good fishing spot.

The villa was dirty and the bed was not safe. The window in small bedroom was super dirty, mini blinds have not been dusted in months, chips, dust, dirty socks under bed, and the bunk bed was wobbly. Not stable or safe. We were unable to use it. The fridge had not been cleaned out and was defrosted. The fridge took 24 hours to cool our food. I lost 5 bags of breast milk because freezer was off prior to checking in. The kitchen drawers, utensils and counters were dirty. Messy drawers, no order and hard to find things for cooking. There was ants all over villa, in kitchen, on stove, in both bedrooms and both bathrooms. I called right away to report it and no one came by. The top of the fridge has never been cleaned. Mats in bathrooms were dirty and had long hair. I have been coming to the villas for over 7 years and we chose this place because of the bright colors, paintings and the decorations but I never imagined such a dirty villa. I spoke to the lady in charge right away and she was suppose to get a hold of owners and we stayed three days and no one came to check the villa or offer to help out. The bed was suppose to be used and we got stuck sleeping on a flat, uncomfortable couch. By the way, under the couch there were crayons, chips and trash. I asked for the cleaning deposite back and some money back for the inconvenience of the unsafe bed. I got no response. Truly dissatisfied and disappointing.

Property is beautiful. Feeding the deer was one of the highlights of the granbabies stay. Would recommend that check in/out instructions emailed from evolve get updated as there is a lot of incorrect information from what is emailed to information Hilda sent through text.

We had a nice, quick weekend getaway while supporting our son in his high school bass fishing tournament. The condo was located perfectly for our needs. Really nice property and amenities.

This was a beautiful resort! I really think anyone giving it a negative review is just overly picky. Could not find anything to complain about. Would stay again in a heartbeat! It was beautiful and everything was smooth!

Great spot, easy to find and plenty relaxing. Upstairs neighbor a little bit stompy at weird hours but nothing too bad and certainly not enough to cause heartache. Very clean. Very homey. Beds comfortable. Showers hot. Everything we needed for our stay.

Great place to come. I bit far from other entertainment. Could use a deep cleaning & touch ups. Nicely decorated with a lovely Texan vibe. Plenty of room. Communication about the water shut off should have been better! Entering the area could also have been communicated better as the codes were not correct. Loved the peacefulness & wildlife. Would absolutely return!

Unfortunately they did not do a deep cleaning the shower and cookware was not clean. Towels were old and dingy (over used)The maintenance of the property was poor our elevator, washing machine and a/c in one room did not function and spider webs everywhere also the gas grill didn’t work . Overall unsatisfied

Overall, good. Some amenities were unavailable or limited, possibly due to Covid-19? The condo itself was nice, but could have used some new towels. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable.

The property and condo are beautiful! The condo is large and was so clean. When we needed help, it was just a text away. I would highly recommend this condo.

Your place was very nice. The coffee bar was very lacking. For 6 adults staying 2 night, 6 coffee pods is very insufficient. Our balcony was not clean, the rug and floor were dirty(I took pics). The ceiling fans has dust falling off them, when we turned them on. I had to call Hilda twice before she sent my entry codes, then the gate code was wrong. My son after driving 9 hours, could not get in, the Island, told them they were closed and could not help them. We got in, because the girl in front of us let us use her key. I had to call Hilda again, and she told me she had sent the wrong code and told me the correct code. I don’t thing these things should happen, at a place like The Island.

The balcony was amazing and my daughters loved exploring the property and the pools! Seeing the deer every night was awesome! The blue bonnets in the river bed were an extra beautiful part of the property. The beds were super comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Dirty, dark and dated. Disappointed in the property overall. Really needs a deep cleaning. Light bulbs out in bathroom, light switches covered with black tape. The front door entrance and patio looked like they hadn’t been used in 6 months. There were linens left in the drier that we folded and set out so we could use. The second bedroom beds were like sleeping on covered springs. Had to call upon arrival for check in procedures that were not sent previously. The only real 5* we found was the master bed. Also, getting in and out of the property to get anywhere was a 20-30 minute drive. Not very convenient. Would not recommend this property.
