“Mountain Charm” perfectly describes this cabin! If you can make it past the steep, curvy driveway, you will love this place! It was just as described: updated, tastefully decorated, cozy, comfortable, and has a large deck with a beautiful view of the mountains. It also had a pool tables, hot tub, lots of games, and WiFi (which was a blessing, especially since there was no cell service).

Unfortunately, we encountered a terrible rain/wind storm that kept us up all night (lost power). The next night (Christmas Eve), temps dropped fast and a snowstorm hit. Instead of the predicted 1-2”, we got 6-8” snow. We started back to the cabin about 20-30 minutes after the snow started, but we were unable to make it back up the mountain to our cabin even in that short amount of time. The mountain also lost power for 2 days. Many were stranded, but luckily we made it back to town and founding lodging for the rest of our trip. Jackson Mountain Homes was wonderful! They refunded the two nights we were unable to access our cabins for which we were grateful. We would definitely stay here again, but preferably during the summer next time!
