Hirst is a spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable property with a parking space in a quiet location in Padstow. We received a warm and friendly welcome from Anj and Stu who made sure that we had everything we needed and gave us recommendations for walks and beaches. We were super lucky with the weather and were able to appreciate the stunning coastline and beautiful beaches. All in all, a fabulous holiday.

We had a lovely time at Anj & Stu’s property.
The house had everything we needed and more. Lots of extras such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil, foil. Also fresh milk & a chocolate snack were very welcomed after our long journey.
I would highly recommend a stay at this property.

8 Hirst was a wonderful location…not in the village, but close to it. The walk to town wasn’t too challenging for those in the party with hip and knee issues. If we werre tired, we took our rental car and parked in one of the parking lots. We loved the layout and found everything we really needed was there. Angela and Stuart were very hospitable and helpful. You won’t be sorry if you book this Vrbo.

Property is in a great location just a few minutes walk fro Padstow harbour. It had everything we needed and was very clean. It is very well insulated with virtually no noise from outside.

We had an amazing week! The property is in a great location, is very well equipped and was extremely comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. The sun trap in the garden is an added bonus!

Hirst @ No 8 was the perfect Cornwall stay. Immaculate, comfortable home from home (with a parking space) and easy within walking distance of Padstow. The perfect position to get to all the sights, with easy access to Port Isaac (Doc Martin), Newquay airport, Truro, and St Ives artists’ harbour village. Anj and Stu made us very welcome with many added extras, including flowers and Easter chocolate! As we live in Australia, a long journey, but well worth it!

Close enough to walk to Padstow harbour if you dont mind a steep walk back! Close to a number of beautiful beaches and Seaside towns. Close to bus routes if you dong want to drive anywhere.

A fantastic property
A really beautiful bungalow which met all of our needs for a family holiday. This is a great location as it is within easy walking distance of Padstow and also convenient for visiting other places in Cornwall. We are really struggling to find any fault whatsoever with the property and Anj and Stu were great. Would we recommend this property… yes definitely.

Stylish and comfortable property. Very well equipped and all beautifully clean. Anj and Stuart very helpful and congenial hosts. Perfect base for exploring this part of Cornwall, and private parking a great bonus, though worth noting the walk into Padstow is quite steep.

Fantastic bungalow in a great location. It is a real home from home holiday home and was so relaxing and comfortable to come back to after a busy day exploring the area. It is very well equipped and the owners have thought of everything. Having a parking space was a real bonus and it was great to be able to stroll the 8 minutes into Padstow harbour. Would definitely recommend Hirst @no 8.

A lovely place to stay
We had a wonderful stay at this property and we’re made to feel very welcome by the hosts who had taken time to introduce themselves and even left us some goodies for Easter! The property is in a good location, a short walk from the harbour and is newly renovated with all the creature comforts you could hope for. I would recommend this property to anyone considering booking it.

The bungalow was immaculate, had everything we needed and more.
We felt really at home and enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden. Anj and Stu were lovely, gave us lots of advice on where and where not to go, they also left us a lovely present on the kitchen table (thank you) 😊 It was a perfect base for us and we visited some amazing places.

Fantastic property and hosts! Hurst@no 8 was perfect!
We stayed a week and it was wonderful. Great location and Anj and Stu were so welcoming and helpful. It felt like home from home and everything was so well presented and immaculate. We were lucky with the weather so ended up mainly using it as a base but it would be cosy to stay in if we hadn’t been blessed but the weather. We have been coming to Cornwall for the last 15 years and would definitely book Hurst@no8 again. Thank you!

Great location - home from home
Exceptionally clean, well equipped, stylish bungalow a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. Hirst at no. 8 had all we needed - Anj has thought of everything! (Thank you for the milk, tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival). Lovely private patio with garden furniture at rear to chill out at the end of the day. Off road parking a bonus as only a short walk down to harbour (this is a real benefit in peak season!) - could not fault this place, exceeded expectations.

Lovely relaxing trip to Cornwall
We were very impressed with the accommodation . Very clean and everything that you would need for a week stay. Anj and Stu were very hospitable and gave us good info about the surrounding area . Lovely outdoor space to enjoy the afternoon / evening sun . We would definitely come back to here .

pleasant modern accommodation
it is very close to town, 9 minutes, it is close to the bus stop and to a good supermarket, there is a sunny outside patio with table, the lounge is spacious & comfortable. I was staying in Padstow for a walking holiday so ate breakfast and all but one dinner in the property and the kitchen had everything necessary. It is very quiet. I would make 2 adults sharing the second bedroom aware it is not that big but that should not be a problem. The owner offered every help necessary. I would recommend it and would certainly go back if visiting Padstow again. The washing machine & second bathroom were very useful as was the parking space for a car.

This is great place to stay if you are visiting the area. It’s only a short walk to the harbour in Padstow. The accommodation itself was modern and clean and had everything we needed and our hosts were lovely. I would definitely recommend visiting the food festival.

Lovely property in excellent location
Ideally located out of the town centre in a quiet road, but only a short walk from the town centre and harbour. The property was spotlessly clean and well furnished. We were greeted by the owners who live next door. Anj and Stu are very friendly people and willing to give help and advice without being intrusive. Off road parking was a bonus.

Amazing place to stay
This property had everything it said on the tin and more we loved it, from the friendly check in after a 9 hour journey to the house keeping visit halfway through our 2 week stay. The accomodation was very up to date, clean and tidy and had everything we needed and nothing was too much bother for our hosts.
The Hirst is in a great position for either taking in Padstow itself and the lovely surrounding walks and cycles or for driving to some of the must see places in Cornwall.
This was about our tenth trip to Cornwall and one of our favourites and when we come again we will definitely stay here.

Lovely modern property a short walk from central Padstow
We arrived to a very thoughtful welcome pack from the owners who live next door and are very helpful. The property is modern, warm and extremely well equipped. We were two couples and therefore wanted a rental property with two bathrooms so this fitted the bill nicely. It is a downhill walk into Padstow on pathways away from traffic and it's a short walk to the local Tesco store. With driveway parking and such close proximity to Padstow this really is an ideal rental property for a relaxed holiday stay in North Cornwall.

Das Ferienhaus (Anbau an Vermieterhaus) ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, Platz für 4 Personen, 2 Bäder, eigener eingezäunter Garten, große Küche, funktional eingerichtet. Pkw-Stellplatz. Die Lage ist ideal, um sowohl den gemütlichen Ort Padstow mit seiner Natur (Wanderwege, Strand) und Restaurants und Geschäften (auch großer Supermarkt in der Nähe) als auch die Umgebung Cornwalls zu erkunden. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan (haben einen kleinen Hund) und waren äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich, nie aufdringlich. Wir würden dieses Ferienhaus jederzeit wieder buchen und empfehlen es weiter.
