Love the location right in the heart of town. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The view of the water from or balcony was awesome.

not a big issue but hotel’s reception was not friendly, no welcome, no hints, no talk, you never expect that especially when you have kids with you. They even didn’t mention the breakfast was complimentary.

"Lodge" ambience was just ok. Location is convenient to Crockett's Breakfast Camp, which is a plus.

Horrible ice-cold harsh white LED lighting in the room completely destroys any cozy atmosphere it might have had. Apparently whoever chose them simply didn't care, or didn't know that LED bulbs are available in warm colors. Lack of carpet or rugs in the room adds to the non-coziness. Heating system pretty noisy, walls transmit sound from nearby rooms. If you're expecting a nice view because you paid extra for a "stream" room, be aware that the view is of another hotel 30 feet away on the other side of the stream.

Everything from the ease of the reservation to the checkout. These folks have the best customer service that I have encountered in a while. We will definitely be back. We asked to change rooms simply for a balcony access and they made it happen with NO problem at all. Very accommodating
