Lovely, clean, comfortable home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The best views. Great place for a peaceful get away and as a home base to explore the area.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was plenty of space for the five of us. The rooms were exactly as pictured and the house had a lot of light and lovely views of the water. It was also very clean and the check-in process was simple and straightforward. The owners were very communicative throughout the process. Would 100% recommend this property to others. Thanks for everything!

We were very impressed with this property! We stayed here while visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday and it was perfect. It had everything we needed, was very clean, a great location and wonderful views!

We have stayed at a number of VRBO rentals and this one was the best yet. It was very well appointed and the linens and paper goods were more than sufficient. The location is great; just a short walk to the public beach and the Ipswich/Essex area is filled with sights and great restaurants. If we visit this area in the future we would certainly hope that we could rent 5 Hillside Rd. again.

As a former Ipswich resident and the nephew of a Great Neck homeowner who lives just up the hill from this property, I was very excited about staying here to visit with family for the first time since before the pandemic. My wife, two teens and I anticipated this stay for months, and it more-than lived up to all of our expectations. A beautiful home in one of our favorite places. Top-notch property with all the amenities, and we look forward to staying here again. We hosted family members for dinner, enjoyed days on the beach, and had a wonderful home to retreat to after gatherings at my Uncle's and a day in Boston. I can not recommend this property highly enough ... but keep it between us, OK? I don't want too much competition for future stays.

Superb vacation in Ipswich. The property was perfect - very clean, well-equipped kitchen, just a stones throw from the beach (great views) and plenty to do in the area through short day trips. Very highly recommended.

A very comfortable and well-appointed property with nice water views. Our stay was enjoyable in every respect. The communications with the host were excellent and nothing was lacking in terms of what was provided. Highly recommended!

The house was immaculate and beautifully furnished. Great location and you felt very safe in this community. Close to restaurants and activities and the beach is just steps away! Will definitely be coming back! Hopefully for longer

The house is located off the main road - we hardly noticed any traffic, and up a small hill which provides excellent views from the two decks.Inside everything is very new, very clean and very high quality ranging from the kitchen appliances and bed linens to the beach towels and chairs provided. Communication with the owners via the VBRO app was very easy and quick and our questions were answered very Overall we highly recommend the.property and won’t hestitate to use it again in the futureJuly 2020

Fantastic home for a family getaway on the coast. Great location, comfortable home with all you need and owners were lovely to work with. Highly recommend!

Nice spot for our small family to get together. Nicely appointed and equipped home w/ great water views. We were impressed by Chris and Liz's attentiveness to our needs, and especially the books, toys, and baby equipment they made available to us. A good time was had by all. Communication w/VRBO was difficult for me and almost resulted in my backing out. Glad I didn't.

The house is very nice and comfortable. Nice location. Able to take walks around the neighborhood and enjoy looking out at the ocean.

It’s a lovely property near the beach was clean and well equipped. We will certainly be coming back.

A great location for our small family reunion, this home was comfortable, quiet, and beautiful, and a nearby beach to watch the stormy waves from. Definitely has a regular flight of stairs to get to the living level, which was fine for us, but you should know about. The house was big enough to provide quiet sitting places for each of the families, and lots of deck sitting with great views. A very short drive took us to wonderful walking paths and access to a historic farm. The town has great pubs, and you are a brief drive from Essex, which has Woodman’s, an awesome spot for whole boiled lobster and chowder!

A beautiful home in a stunning location that exceeded our expectations. Thrilled by the wonderful sunrises we could see from our bed each morning, with fabulous views from every angle. Enjoyed short walk to beach and also around the area, appreciating the local wildlife. The house has plenty of space with a light modern airy feel, is comfortable throughout and very well equipped. The host very accommodating and easy to contact. Welcome basket appreciated and the gift certificates for some local businesses were a thoughtful touch. Cannot fault it and would certainly consider staying there again when visiting friends who live in Ipswich.

This property is perfectly perched on a hill with beach and ocean views. The property is nicely furnished and equipped, with lovely wrap around decks. Owners very responsive to any questions or concerns ( not that there were any). Would stay there again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Liz’s house. The house decor was beachy, very clean and just a short walk to a small beach. Lovely walks, marshes and estuaries everywhere. We went to the Ipswich seafood market, the farmer’s market and Castle Hill on the Crane estate. Everyone we met could not have been nicer. Would definitely recommend this house for a long weekend or family vacation.

The property was everything that was advertised. The owner was very prompt in communicating. The house was very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was quaint and quite. It was just what we wanted for our family vacation.
