My family got together, as we do every year, for a family reunion of sorts. There were four families staying together in the home. We have stayed at many homes in Fish Haven over the past five years. This one was not my favorite but got the job done. Pros: Location is great, right by the entrance and within walking distance to the pool. House has beautiful views of the lake. The pirate ship is fun and novel. Access to the Reserve private beach and the clubhouse pools. AC was sufficient for house and sleeping comfort. Cons: No propane in grill. Water heater insufficient for house size and needs. All the specific and strange rules posted all over the house with a label maker. (i.e. no wet sunscreen on the pirate ship??) No salt and pepper, usually a standard supply. 10 towels total in the house, when the party was 17 people. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the management company was very responsive but I don’t think I would book this house again. The bedrooms are small and the whole house feels somewhat claustrophobic.

Grandkids loved the pirate ship and had the best time playing on it. Large house so it accommodated all 22 of us. Spacious with plenty of room. Deck was great place to hang out and talk while enjoying the view. But washing machine didn’t work, no window covering in the master bath, Wi-Fi access was sporadic, the rope swing broke while our 9 year old grandchild was on it.

The kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of room. We felt at home.

This is an amazing home, unfortunately we felt like some of the photos were a tad misleading. The property was amazing and we all had a good time, but they have really widened the lens on the main room shots. We excepted a grand main room and in reality it was quaint and somewhat cozy. The pirate ship was amazing and the grand kids spent hours playing on it. That's the feedback though, for nearly 5 figures for 4 nights we expected it to be slightly larger in the main gathering areas.

This place has it all. Fun home for the kids to play in while not at the beach. Quick access to all areas of bear lake. Access to a pool/club house. 5 stars all the way around.

Lots of room for everyone to spread out! Great basement where teenagers could hang out and play pool. Kitchen had plenty of seating. Vacasa was very attentive and responsive to our requests. Loved it!! Thanks so much!

Pool and private beach access was a game changer! Property/home/furnishings were beautiful, moose walked through the yard a few times, gated access made us feel safe leaving boats/toys out uncovered at night. Kids loved the Pirate ship structure and foosball. Bring shampoo/conditioner/soap for your crew, there wasn’t enough.

Nice home. We had a couple minor things that weren’t perfect, but things that can be easily addressed and had nothing to do with how nice the home is. Vacation was great, thank you!

Had a great time at the chalet with family & friends. It was an easy process and everything was handled perfectly. A great stay if you're looking to visit bear lake!

This was the perfect home for our family reunion. It is extremely well stocked with kitchen and bath items as well as games. There was plenty of room and the staff were extremely helpful in answering our questions. We hope the lake comes back up next year!

Beautiful and enjoyable

We loved the three levels for gathering. We loved being able to use the pool and having an outside play structure for the grandkids.

Comfortable beds. All the necessary dishes and appliances in the kitchen. Lots of room To have fun with family. Private beach is great! Loved the pool access.

The one big problem was the construction work on the pirate ship play structure in the yard. It will be awesome when it is completed, but it made it impossible to be outside when they were working it was so loud.

We had a pretty good group of people ranging from 2years to 80 years old and EVERYONE LOVED the rental. The home was filled with absolutely everything from extra blankets, to kitchen supplies and we never needed anything else. The kids loved the clubhouse and the pools. We loved the private beach and it was such a beautiful community. I have zero complaints and almost don’t want to share this secret place! Just absolutely amazing!

We loved this home. It's our second time going with this home. We love the pool and pickle ball courts. We love how it is close to the North Shore. The home was clean and roomy and we just love it here.

Beautiful but the house was very noisy through the walls

Our family enjoyed our stay. The only complaints was the air conditioner didnt work right amd there is a mouse problem in the garage and in the vents.

We loved staying in the community of The Reserve. We had a family reunion of 21 with little ones up to age 14. They loved the swimming pools. The views at the home were spectacular and had plenty of space a beds for everyone.
We would have appreciated window blinds and also an extra refrigerator. The fridge is counter depth which might look good but it cuts out a lot of storage. In a home that sleeps 30 this fridge is definitely not big enough for a crowd.
There also was a problem with the water heater. We only would get three 10 minute showers before the hot water was gone. We ended having a bunch of us go up to the club house to shower there. There must have been a problem with the water heaters because there are 2 of them.
All in all we enjoyed our stay there in this nice home, the spectacular views, great pool and close proximity to North Beach.

Plenty of room and open space for all ages.

We loved that the home was big enough for all 30 of us. We never felt crowded or on top of each other. The younger cousins loved going to the pool after being at the lake all day. The kitchen was well equipped. We had a fun and memorable stay.

Chalet Cabin was a fabulous home for our family's needs. It had plenty of extra bedding, towels, and linens, if we had needed any. The wrap around porch was wonderful. There was plenty of space for gathering as a family, and for individuals to have their own space. The communication was helpful. There was a mix up on signing final paper work. The agent met us at the apartment so we could finalize things, rather than requiring us to drive to the office. The self entry codes and electronic check out were really helpful. We needed an exterminator to kill some spiders in the basement, and the management took care of it quickly. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, plus extra paper towels. Everything else you might need is in the house--hand soap, laundry soap, dish soap, toilet paper, salt, pepper, baking soda, ......it was very helpful. We LOVED the amenities center. The weight room was great. The pool and hot tub were wonderful, lightly heated. A new children's pool area was almost completed, so that will be a great addition. The tennis court and basketball court were also enjoyed by our group. We loved North Beach! It's about 10 minutes from the Reserve. We rented at North Beach Rentals. They allow renters to stay on their beach and play during your rental period. It was quieter than the public beach, plus there was not additional fee. We parked cars close to the shore. Please note, Google maps is WRONG. Follow the provided map and directions. We trusted Google maps and ended up on an unpaved four wheeler trail.

The house fit our family perfectly! The floor plan was perfect for family time. The "lawn" was riddled with thistles; a big draw back for little people even with flop flops. The thistles were the only disappointment. We hope to rent this same place for 2019! Thank you!!
