The pictures help you get a sense of the place, but it is even more beautiful in person. Each room has a private bathroom, including the two rooms in the cottage. There are also two common bathrooms in the main house that were convenient. The kitchen area was big enough for us to feed everyone in our party. The sunroom was a nice gathering space, and the tavern included a large TV and was a great space for games and other activities. There was enough space that we could all be together when we wanted, but people could also do their own thing in the many different areas and rooms. The outdoor space was really nice; we had a great time stargazing and sitting at the firepit. Dan was kind and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this place to our friends and family, and we are hoping to return soon!

Everyone had plenty of space to spread out at the house. Kitchen was well stocked. The yard and pool were great for the kids! Loved the big sunroom for hanging out. Outdoor dining area was great. We were able to enjoy lots of space, cook to our hearts delight in the commercial kitchen and while away the evenings around the fire pit. (thanks for leaving it all set up!) The bedrooms were clean and private. It was a little challenging for some of the guests who experience knee and hip issues as there are many levels and stairs to navigate. The spacious sunroom and bar area provided a place for families to sit and enjoy being with each other. The layout of the bedrooms with their own bathroom provided privacy and quiet time when needed. We are a family that loves to cook, and the commercial kitchen was PERFECT. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, serving dishes, cooking and eating utensils. The house is on the main road but tucked in for privacy. The location of the house was perfect! Grocery shopping was easy. The Londonderry Village Market is just 3 minutes away. Manchester was just 20 minutes away. The kids enjoyed Bromley Adventure Park, which is just 6 minutes away.

Located near Manchester, Vermont this farmhouse was perfect for a family weekend. This house was perfect for accommodating 15 of us for the weekend - the rooms were spacious - each with a private bathroom and many with a fireplace. We were all able to spend time together in the bar/game room area each night and enjoy a home cooked breakfast in the large and well equipped kitchen. The fire pit and hot tub just added to the fun. We couldn't have had had a better weekend. Highly recommend Blue Door Farm and Cottage - we will definitely be back!!

Lots of different areas to hang out. The property was clean and the outdoors maintained. We enjoyed the outdoor games and firepit nightly. Property is about a 5 minute drive to a small market and a great hiking trail. 10 minutes or so away is a fantastic restaurant, Social House. Manchester, for groceries, shopping and dining, is about a 15 minute drive. Lakes and other activities about 30 minutes away. The only disappointments our group agreed was that the noise from the road was a bit loud at times and the lack of cabinet space for food in the kitchen.

It was perfect for our 6 families. We ended up with room to spare. The highlight (for us) was cooking a full meal on day. The kitchen was just right for that. The area is good for outdoor activity. We spend a day hiking. Manchester Center looked nice, though we only stopped for ice cream. And a visit to Taylor Farm just 2 mile away was very pleasant.

We enjoyed this wonderful, historic property with retrofitting for modern features while maintaining its historic features. Each bedroom was unique. The property is in a beautiful location that is close to a great grocery store, good restaurants, historic sites and good medical. The property had a wonderful laundry facilities with multiple washers and dryers. We really enjoyed the fit pit that was located in the middle of the meadow with plenty of firewood. The house had lots of games and a pool table. Parking was very convenient.

Plenty of bedrooms with queen/king beds. Privatebathrooms for each bedroom. We looked at several houses before selecting this one. It was truly a rarge gem in the area! And they have AC!

Beautiful large quiet old inn near skiing and hiking. Great hot tub. Lots of room for everyone to spread out

This is a charming, old inn with lots of room to accommodate many friends or a large family. There are multiple "hang out" areas and the bedrooms all well appointed with their own baths. We loved the location close to Bromley. We also were able to go sledding and snowshoeing in the back yard.

Great place for big groups. Like many large older homes the heating is somewhat uneven (kitchen can get cold) but that is a minor complaint. Overall a great option - nice house, beautiful property, and accessible to multiple mountains between 10- 30 minutes. Daniel the owner is very professional and organized and great to work with, he wants to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

We rented this house for our annual Christmas gathering! It was perfect. Plenty of room for all 18 of us. Daniel was excellent to work with. He made sure all of our needs were met!!!!! I would recommend definitely recommend this rental property!!!!

this is the second time i've stayed at blue door farm. we had a group of 15- 5 adults and 10 kids who fit perfectly into the sleeping space. However the living space feels like it could accommodate even more. It does not feel crowded at all. we arrived after a storm dropped 18 inches of snow and the driveway right up to the house was clear. the home was warm and had everything we needed. we spent the weekend skiing and eating at the local spots like jj hapgoods and taylor farm. great stay. so convenient we did a day at stratton and a day at bromley, we will be back

We visited with 4 families, 3 of which had children. This was great for holding all of us, plenty of room and amenities. The house itself is old and well used, but that is reflected in the great price, and is only the house. The beds and bathrooms were wonderful and modern. New and high quality mattresses, down comforters, Jacuzzi tubs, plentiful towels. The location is excellent. It is set back off the road enough for you to be comfortable letting the kids play, but it is only 15 minutes to Manchester and 5 minutes to the nearest shopping. For us this was ideal; private, but convenient. Overall, this is was loved by everyone in the party. We all agreed this is where we will go next time we are in town. Thanks Daniel for the great experience.

We enjoyed a wonderful family Christmas at this classic Vermont gem, with beautiful views and convenient location. The large house is warm, welcoming, and beautifully decorated with antiques. The spacious bedroom suites are gorgeous with fireplaces and ensuite jacuzzi bathrooms. Daniel responded immediately to our every request, and he recommended terrific restaurants, shopping, and skiing nearby. We will definitely return to this lovely family home. We also look forward to staying at Daniel's Florida properties.
