The location is great, you can easily reach two national parks by bicycle. The place is nice and quiet, there is a supermarket nearby. The house has almost everything you might need.

There are some things that could be improved: - mattresses are very soft, which could be a problem for people with back issues - it would be great to have a shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom - I only found the sponge for washing the dishes on the last day

The chalet was very small and not clean. The heater was not working when I arrived to the location. The owner came and restart it. The chalet was very isolated. The door of the chalet at one time it didn't open so I had to lieft it. The quality of wi-fi was very bad even after restarting the router. I was informed very later regarding the boars inside the park which from my point of view it is not safe. When I communicate my concerns and my complaints about the chalet the owners at one time she said that I am liar regarding the cleaning part and she said regarding the chalet it is not her problem that it is too small because the measurements are on the website so I have to deal with it. The communication between me and the owners was not so good when I specified my concers. I will not revisit.

Amazing location, friendly owners and great place to stay

no cutlery (spoons) was available, but rest of the kitchen was well equipped and modern. This small addition can make world of difference.

wonderful nature / forest, right at the park's entrance. the entire region is great for hikers and bikers. you can rent bikes at the park (book these in advance), do your groceries in the park's supermarket, etc.

the wifi was often poor, regularly not usable and the tv was out of service. lack of curtains at large glass doors of living room. interior/furniture largely comprised of refurbished wood planks, which is a matter of taste ofcourse.

Another great stay with Chalet Hoenderloo. Good location close to the forest with many hiking and cycling possibilities. Comfortable bathroom.
