Spacious house with good bones. Pool area overlooking pond was the highlight. Fort Myers Beach will take some time to recover from Ian but Sanibel seems to be making great progress already. Rental had some minor cleanliness and maintenance issues which I suspect owner will resolve.

Very nice house in a superb location. Shopping, dining, grocery stores, and Ft. Myers beach are all close and easy to get to. People in this gated community are out walking and biking and are very friendly. Being on a large pond provides a great view. The kitchen is well stocked; the beds are comfortable; the master suite and bath are wonderful; the pool is warm and enjoyable. Just a great stay!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. All amenities were in great shape and didn’t want to leave. The owner Shane, is very easy to access and immediately takes care of any issues (we had none).

Easy to find Shane kept in touch with us as there was a hurricane so we had to cut our stay short but it was a beautiful home and we will be back

This house was more than we could have ever asked for. Shane was awesome about communicating with us and was so helpful. The kids loved the pool! Eight of us stayed here very comfortably. We would definately stay here again! We visited a different beach every day of our trip and they were all very nice. Wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay! So many things at the house for us to use while we were there. The beach things were especially nice! Great communication with Shane! He really made us feel comfortable in his home and check in was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Let me start by saying the quality of some amenities are inferior for the price we paid. We rented this house to spend the month relaxing in and around the pool. The Pool pump/filter/heater was not in working order the first week of our stay. The pool is not an auto-fill pool therefore the built-in skimmers are not turned on because the water level drops below the level of the skimmer's intake. Since the skimmers were not operating, to protect the pump from burning up, the pool water always contained leaves, pollen, seedpods, bugs and appeared yellowish-green and unappealing. All of this prompted numerous calls to the "pool guy" as directed by the house information. We negotiated with the owner for free pool heat for the rest of the month and the "pool guy" managed to get the appearance corrected for the last 5 days of our stay. The outdoor grill was dangerous. The first time we went to light the grill, we could hear propane leaking from the valve connected to the tank. If we had lit the grill in that condition, it most likely would have exploded. When we took the tank to a propane supplier, we were informed the valve on the tank is no longer permitted and was at least 12 years old. We were told we'd need to exchange the old tank for a new tank with the correct valve. When this was brought to the attention of the owner, he replied that he doesn't supply the tank only the grill and he had no control over the propane tanks. It's our opinion that if an owner provides an amenity, it is the owners responsibility to insure it is in proper working order. The ignitor didn't work so you need to light the grill with a long lighter. You either turn the burner on, hold the lighter through the grates and wait for the whosh and explosion of ignition, or you remove the grates and burner cover, light the burner and then try to replace the burner cover and grate without getting burned. There are several little things that over a month become annoying. Things like no local representation (the owner is in the UK). A master bath sink didn't drain correctly which was blamed on US plumbing. The frying pans are scorched, dented, non-flat and flaking Teflon. The house needs larger pots and bowls and a 9"x13" baking dish and a properly functioning can opener. It would be nice to have more than one oven mitt. If you offer bicycles, they should be in working order. Despite all the problems we managed to enjoy our stay. We won't rent this property again.

The house and surroundings were beautiful and it was convenient to restaurants and stores. Having our own personal pool was lovely! There were three distinct bedroom/bath areas that were completely private for guests. Shane was a great host, addressed any and all of our concerns immediately. We would definitely stay there again and can’t wait till next February!

The house fit our needs perfectly. Location was secluded but close to restaurants and shopping. The Property Manager was great to work with. This was our first time renting through VRBO but based on this positive experience it won’t be our last.

Had a great week's stay in this very nice home. Close to the beach. Easy access to Ft Myers sites. Home was more than we could have asked for. Had great communication with Shane! Planning our next stay in Florida. Definitely would stay here again!

I have to say this is my new favorite place to stay. It has all the amenities of home. This is a great location in between Sanibel and Fort Myers nestled in a quiet neighborhood. This is our second stay at this home and can't wait to come back. Lots of stuff for the pool and the beach.

We rented this home to “disconnect” from work for a week and boy did we! Very spacious and clean pool home. Very quiet and well kept neighborhood. Very close to shopping, restaurants and beaches. You couldn’t ask for a better owner in Shane. Very easy to reach and communicate with. We would definitely come back. You need to stay here as well.

We had a great stay at this vacation home. It was everything as listed and then some. There were plenty of pots and pans and dishes for cooking and making meals which is amazing as it saves so much money when on vacation with your family.

The house is so much nicer than the pictures can show. The house is so spacious in a beautiful, safe gated community. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay close to Sanibel or Ft. Myers this is an excellent choice. It is nice for family or friends to have enough space to feel comfortable. Ever time we thought we saw the whole house there was more. I will definitely be renting this home again.

The house is really big with plenty of room to spread out. Well equipped with anything you might need and very clean. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Have stayed in this community several times and it is a fantastic area and great location relative to things to do in Ft. Myers.

This house rental is all it is described to be. It is a lovely and fully equipped home in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. It is centrally located and afforded us comfort, relaxation and entertainment. We will definately consider this rental again in the future. We recommend it!

The house and property are very nice. Any issues we had were promptly taken care off. Next time we come back, we will seek this location again.

Aside from an issue with the air conditioning, which the owner quickly worked to rectify, the property was great. We drove from Pennsylvania to Florida to visit with my parents, who live in Florida. The property was our sole destination, as we wanted to keep everyone safe given the spread of COVID-19 in the area. We had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space to visit, play, rest, and work. The kitchen and grill were used every day as we prepared all of our own meals. The internet supported two working adults and 3 teenagers/pre-teens who were constantly on their phones and other devices, when not in the pool.
