It was very nice and close to the ballpark and great places to eat.

This home was very comfortable to stay in. Large size rooms; very very clean; very accommodating and great location! The owner is so helpful and great to deal with! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

My family of five stayed here on a trip to Boston. The neighborhood is great and although we had a car, we didn’t need it to explore the city. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Parking was on the street, but it was free and easy to find spots nearby. My kids were delighted when they discovered a bin of toys in the sunroom!

My family and my cousins family stayed here for a few days while visiting Boston. The apartment was roomy enough for all 8 of us. Location is perfect, 12 minute walk to the T, easy to find for Uber and there are several stores and restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Jamaica Plains area. Only consideration is that it is an upstairs apartment so your noise levels need to really monitored in the evening. Thank you for letting us stay during our visit.

Mrs. Booth was very helpful and did everything she could to make us feel at home. The area the apartment is in was so different from our own there were young families with children everywhere. The neighborhood has whites, blacks, and Hispanics. Everyone we meet were polite and if we had a question about a place to eat or place to park toke time to answer our questions. There are numerous places to eat near apartment from Topas to Scottish to neighborhood dinner. WE loved the liveliness. It was fun!

THe apartment was very clean, in a great location, had tons of space, and everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay in Lita’s truly lovely and roomy apartment. We were a family of five with a friend and her adult daughter. The layout of rooms with three common spaces — kitchen, separate living room with adjoining Sunny reading nook were great for spreading out. The kitchen had all the implements we needed for the simple breakfasts we made. The beds were extremely comfortable. Lita has placed fans in each room. We had great weather and enjoyed being able to open our windows for the breezes. The street noise was a murmur; the neighbors were quiet. The stairs to the apartment are steep and made a bit narrow by a chair elevator. But we managed. The apartment has many beautiful original architectural elements which make it a delight to be in. The apartment has great access to Jamaica Plain Pond and the Olmstead Park for walking, running and biking. We found Whole Foods and terrific neighborhood eateries just 1-2 blocks in the other direction. On street parking was easy to find. I’d love to have an excuse to stay here again! The place was excellent for our family. The size was just right as we had 4 adults and two teenagers. Parking was very easy; many spaces were available right in front of the house on the street. The kitchen table proved to be a great place to congregate to catch up in the mornings and plan for the next day at night.

What a perfect spot to gather with my five college friends. The house had plenty of space for us to feel very comfortable. We loved having our morning coffee in the little front sunroom. And the kitchen was a comfortable space for eating and playing games. The neighborhood was great with a variety of restaurants and the arboretum within walking distance. The host thoughtfully provided coffee and basics and the Whole Foods was a short walk away. This house fit our needs perfectly.

Conveniently located near beautiful Jamaica Pond that has great trees, fields and a walking trail. Across the street from a 7-11, next to a restaurant, near other eateries and shops and easy access to downtown Boston. Creaky floors, one clawfoot tub with shower fixture, typical for an old house. One bedroom is actually the former dining room with a small, but adequate en-suite bath and drawers and armoire for clothes. Very clean. Furniture is on the older side, but it adds to the charm. We had a lovely time staying there. No issues at all.

Free parking on street could be a challenge…or if get home late. Noise from busy intersection could be problem if you’re a light sleeper. Bring own soaps, shampoos. Second bathtub has high wall and small so could be hard for older people or small kids. Mattresses are firm and plenty of towels. Short walk to subway to go to downtown.

Owner very pleasant and responsive. Apt. nicely furnished. Convenient for Head of the Charles regatta weekend w one rower, Mom n Dad, and two coaches. Whole Foods one short block away plus full kitchen made for easy meal prep in apt. but also noticed plenty of restaurants in neighborhood.

We had a great stay at this property with our elderly parents. The chair lift for the stairs was a life saver for my mom and her bad knees. The location was perfect and just a short Uber ride to downtown and Fenway. There were also many restaurants and a Whole Foods within walking distance to the property. The owner was very reachable throughout our stay as well.

Very comfortable home in a great location, close to Boston.

We're 6 senior citizens off on an adventure. Some of us had a problem with the stairs. But that's just a learning experience for our next adventure.

The house was perfect! My daughter got married nearby and I’m so glad I chose to stay here for several nights with family members. It was spacious and beautifully decorated, with plenty of room for 6 people, plus additional family who stopped by throughout our stay. The proximity to the wedding venue, as well as to restaurants and stores made it the ideal location for us. Thank you, Lita!

Great trip to Boston with a family that had all ages. Property worked perfect for us

Overall it worked well for our large family. After some initial confusion and a bumpy check in it worked for us. Neighborhood is ok. The house was very clean and the AC worked well.

Lira’s apartment offers twin beds and queen beds, a well equipped kitchen and a short walk to Whole Foods. We were comfortable and close to our destination. Lita was welcoming and responsive.

My 4 coworkers and I stayed here for 4 days recently for a conference and let me tell you...the area is quiet, the residence is clean with all of the amenities and THEN some such as seasonings for any food we may have wanted to cook plus a healthy snack basket was present with little pick me ups in it! The old victorian feel is just what we were all hoping for it to be as well in that it was a different vibe and feeling after a long day at the conference. A 7/11 is directly across the road which makes quick purchases a breeze. I would definitely stay here again and anyone I come across going to Boston I will strongly recommend staying here.

Lita's house was perfect for our group of 7 including 5 adults and 2 small children. The location was very convenient to the Orange Line for a fun trip into Boston. We chose it because it had 4 bedrooms (2 with a queen bed, 2 with 2 twins each) and was close to family in Brookline. It would work for any family visiting Boston. Very clean, kitchen was fully outfitted (although you could use some bigger mugs), easy to find street parking, less than 1/2 mile to Stoney Point T stop. We found a lovely shady playground near the T on Boylston with a splash pad for the kids.

Plenty of space, clean, great home base for exploring the neighborhood and city with good access to public transportation. Lita was very easy to work with. Overall, a great experience.

We were looking for a neighborhood place where we could spend time with local family, and Lita’s apartment worked out great for us. Comfortable, convenient, lots of restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again.
