We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, comfortable home. We were a group of 7 family and friends ages 19 - 67. The private bedrooms for everyone and the several gathering places were perfect. We never felt like we were cramped or in each other's way. The outdoor deck areas, shaded and unshaded, gave each of us something we liked. We enjoyed using the firepit, the pizza oven, the deck swings, the enclosed porch, and most especially that fabulous outdoor live-edge bar on the deck. Morning coffee at that bar, looking over the bay, was very relaxing. The kitchen island, complete with a live-edge eat-at counter was perfect for preparing pizzas, opening oysters, and spreading out our meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and was easy to work in. We loved being right across the street from the bay and enjoyed exploring the water and playing with the hermit crabs that were in abundance. Sandy was very easy to reach and we greatly appreciated the refund she gave us for missing our first night there because our ferry crossing from Caribou was cancelled and the bridge was closed due to Hurricane Lee. We would highly recommend this home and it's wonderful private location!

It's a charming little cottage with a marvelous view. The pantry was well-stocked --something we were grateful for when it looked like we may be stranded by Hurricane Lee. The kitchen was perfect for the chef among us.
One word of advice: The pictures make the property look larger than it is. We had six adults, and I think that the most who could comfortably fit. With 5, each could have their own room.
The porches are wonderful, and there are enough that everyone can spread out, and the living room easily sits six when the weather is bad or the mosquitoes are out.
I would happily return!

We had a great stay. Everything was as advertised. The beds were very comfortable for sleeping and the recently added A/C / heat pumps with individual temp controls for most rooms was very nice. We also enjoyed the pizza oven and managed to produce some very tasty pizza despite never having used such an oven before. Mosquitoes were not bad during the day, but as others mentioned at dusk in the evening they were pretty oppressive. We brought a good quality bug repellent which was able to keep them at bay pretty well, but you would not want to spend much time outdoors in the evening without fully covering yourself with repellent. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of dishes, mugs, cups, silverware, etc. Overall we had a really great time. Thanks!

My family and I stayed here for a full week. The cottage was very clean upon our arrival. The view at night was stunning. It was very hot in PEI during our stay so the A/C on all floors was a big plus. We used the pizza oven for a fun night. The kids loved the beach and the big open space provided plenty of room to run. Overall we had an amazing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bayside Cottage. Everything was well set up and the cottage was well equipped and the location was close to the places we wanted to visit.

The property was exactly as advertised on VRBO. There is nothing missing in this lovely, comfortable spacious home. Our family young and old enjoyed everything there was to offer on the property and the island.

The hosts were easy to communicate with. While the beach was fantastic to walk, the swimming isn my great but very easy commute to Cavendish and Brackley Beach.

Our family and extended family stayed here for one week in July. We had a great stay and Sandy was very accessible when needed. The outdoor space is amazing. Lots of different areas to relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The outdoor pizza oven was fun to use too! As others have noted there are definitely mosquitos at night. The screened in porch was perfect for this. Great stay and we would book it again for a large group.

Beautifully appointed, very clean. Felt like a retreat. Owners pay attention to details. Loved the upstairs master, exercise room and the size of all the bedrooms. Location is quiet. Great communication with owner. Expect to drive for groceries and other amenities.

Excellent vacation - the whole family thoroughly enjoyed the whole PEI experience.
Only criticism is that having air conditioning would have made the interior of the house more comfortable as there was high humidity for the time we were here. Otherwise, everyone rated the stay very high

Bayside
Cottage home was comfortable and well located. We enjoyed touring the alpaca farm nearby and hanging out at Moth Lane brewery. Five days was not long enough but we made the most of it.

Vacation stay in PEI
The house was exactly as the pictures - very clean and nicely appointed with comfortable beds and luxurious bath towels. The house worked well for our group. The beach area is very close and we enjoyed walking along when the tide was out. We really enjoyed spending time on the deck too! Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great Stay in PEI
The house was beautiful and worked really well for our group – especially the wood fired pizza oven that was a real treat. Sandra and Gord were great hosts – very responsive to help with anything we needed. We’ll look forward to returning next summer.

Nice place!
Very nice place, we really enjoyed our stay! The place has everything you need, and was very clean and comfortable.
Sandra was very accommodating and provided us with a crib, highchair, and baby gate.
The only thing is that I didn't read the whole description on the property, so I was not aware of the cleaning fee until I stumbled upon it... it's there, I just didn't read that far in the description.

Amazing vacation home
We booked this home to celebrate my 50th birthday because due to covid we could not leave the Atlantic bubble. We were so pleased we did!!!We had such a great vacation. My husband and I went two days early before family came to stay with us for 2 days. It was a great spot to have additional people come. There was tons of room and great sleeping areas for all the quest. Two were seniors, two were 20 year olds and two middle age family members. Each loved the home and had a great time. The home is equipped with more than you will ever need. The decor is outstanding with not one detail missed. My husband and I toured the Island from one end to the next. It was so lovely to come home to this cottage and relax and put our feet up looking out at the water. If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay this is your home. It is spotless clean, beds are so comfortable, kitchen is equipped with everything you need and there is a ton of outdoor sitting areas whether you want to sit by the fire pit or on the upper or lower deck or stay secluded in the screened room to avoid the early evening mosquitoes. I do not have one complaint about this home. Great time had by all!! Will definitely book again if I am going to PEI :)

We found the perfect PEI summer oasis for our 'Family Gathering' to celebrate our wedding anniversary in 1st class style! The design of this home is spectacular - sleeps up to 12 comfortably, 4 baths - including large Jacuzzi tub, sauna, outdoor pizza oven, massive wrap-around 2 story deck, fitness room, hammock nestled in a quiet spot for an afternoon nap, screened patio - you will love having evening chit-chats and the evening view of the rising moon ... all of this just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Sandy and Gord are great - they are welcoming hosts and quick to help out and connect you to the community's many amenities. The children, age 3-8 said it was, "The best vacation ever!". We will return....

Very comfortable & stylish house
We had a wonderful time staying in this lovely newly renovated house. Gord was on hand to meet us, and showed us around the property. We were impressed by the attention to detail of all the finishes. The house is very spacious, with very comfortable beds and bed linens. The kitchen and tv room on the main floor was a great space to spend time together. The outside seating is lovely, especially the mesh-enclosed patio, which was a great space to sit and look at the water while keeping the mosquitos away. In the mornings I sat and watched the squirrels running around. Bug spray in summer is a must! The house is in a very quiet location, and we drove around most of the island. It's away from crowds, and a good location if you like driving around. The Bay in front the house was a bit too shallow and grassy to really swim in, but kids would love it because the water is warm with lots of little hermit crabs. We drove to white sandy beaches like Greenwich and Bracelet beach. Victoria-by-the-sea is a quaint little seaside town with lovely eateries and art studios, which was lovely to see. I highly recommend this property, especially to families and groups who like to spend time together cooking or sitting around a fire. A lovely property!
