This property was perfect for us providing all we could want for a relaxing stay. We loved the trees, abundant bougainvillea and bird life as well as the outdoor bath. Highly recommended.

Prior to our arrival we received no communication from the property owner. Upon arrival, we were unsure where to park as there is a garage with 2 vehicles + carport. We also were expecting a cabin, so to see the carport at the bottom of some stairs leading up to the property owner's house was a little baffling. No-one came to greet us so after a short time we walked up the driveway to call the number on the sign at the front to be told someone was already on their way down. Got back to the carport where we met the lady owner. We were taken up a few of the stairs to a front door that I then found out was where we were staying. The whole property is a pole house where the owners live up the top an a granny flat is built in at the bottom. It is lovely, absolutely, and the lookout to the bush is also lovely. Breakfast on the deck was beautiful and the lounge room was amazing to relax in. However, got up after turning the lights off in the night and went to the bathroom where I was greeted by 3 cockroaches. Went to kitchen to get bug spray to find 2 more cockroaches. Sprayed them. Next night we came across more in the bathroom. They weren't the large bush cockroaches one might expect in the bush. They were the smaller and medium sized ones. The first impression of not knowing where to park and having had no communication from the owners and then not having them be around upon arrival, plus the cockroaches, ensures we won't be back. As I said, lovely lookout, but not lovely enough.

My husband & I both enjoyed the tranquil setting of the property, overlooking bush & lovely gardens. The owners were friendly & engaging but not intrusive. The breakfast ingredients (bacon, eggs, tomato & toast) provided was a nice touch. It was a great place for rest & relaxation ... and at a reasonable price. Next time we come, we will try out the spa & sauna!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this property. It was an easy check-in process and the location is absolutely beautiful. The property had everything needed and the host was lovely. I will be recommending it to all my friends and family!

Such an amazing and peaceful place to stay, with many locals flying in for a visit (come prepared for the expectant Kookaburras). This is a great place to relax. It was private, clean, and the hosts were so welcoming. The food package was a lovely added extra. We loved our stay here.

Amazing . Definitely come back. By far the best place we’ve ever stayed. Only tiny tiny detail that the the wifi wasn’t great and the TV only had free to air. This didn’t bother us because we wanted to switch off but may be important for others who need to stay connected.

Our stay was amazing! Such a beautifully renovated guest suite with fantastic views! All the added extras such as bacon, eggs, milk, robes etc made us feel right at home. The spa was sensational, particularly laying in it whilst we listened and watched the rain pouring through bush land. It was just what we needed before we welcome our first child. Our hosts were so lovely and you would have hardly even have known they lived upstairs. Beautiful gardens and so close to everything whilst feeling like we were a lifetime away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend!

we had a lovely stay just nice to be in the bush and hearing the birds in the morning. we saw two wallabies which was lovely. Even though the owners live upstairs you don't see or hear them {except for there kittens running around which they warned us so cute} anyway overall we had a lovely stay.

It was a little off putting to realise that someone was going to be above us during the stay but after meeting the kind, wonderful gentleman, our fears were put to rest. We were given a wonderful tour of the amazing gardens which for amateur photographers was quite a highlight. Amazing work to get the garden to where it is today. Upon entering the abode we were greeted with a well laid out and quaint tropical feel. The kitchen, dining and lounge is great size with amazing views. The bedroom was large with lots of storage space and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was amazing. The dual.shower head system is clever and practical. Water pressure is perfect. The deck overlooks another spectacular garden and the valley. Tall beautiful trees, flowers and shrubs fill your view and make you feel you are in the middle.of nowhere. The spa and sauna is a real bonus and we enjoyed it whilst watching the rain and were lucky enough to see a rainbow. Everything about the place just screams A1 5 stars, and is honestly out of the dozen trips we've had, this easily ranks number one for convenience of location, amenities, lay out, cleanliness and hospitality. The bacon and eggs were so tasty and the percolated coffee. Thank you. 😊😊😊

We had a lovely memorable one night stay for my birthday. When we arrived we enjoyed exploring the garden with a great variety of tropical plants and beautiful flowers. After visiting a local restaurant we enjoyed our evening relaxing in the spa and sauna eating strawberries and grapes with a bottle of wine provided. It was lovely waking up to the birds chirping and the bush view. The Host left great breakfast supplies for a cooked breakfast. We would highly recommend staying here which was very private and peaceful.

Peaceful getaway, close enough to the Gold Coast, the property is beneath the owners house but very private with a lovely outdoor spa bath (sheltered from the elements) Would highly recommend

Lovely private & quiet self-contained accommodation in a bush land. You would hardly believe you’re only 30 minutes away from the hustle & bustle of the Gold Coast Spa bath on the verandah is relaxing. To just sit there and watch nature go by was very relaxing. Thelma & hubby live upstairs in the main house but apart from seeing them feed the resident chooks you would know they were even there. Highly recommend Cybele for anyone looking for a quiet & relaxing time away.
