Perfect for our group. Kitchen was well appointed, pool was awesome!

The property was perfect for our family. It was charming, warm and welcoming. The area has so much to offer you are only a few minutes away from dining, shopping or laying on the beach. It was an excellent experience.

We stayed at Silver Lining in June and had a wonderful time. My husband and I were with our three kids and my parents. There was plenty of space, it was so nice to have a kids’ bedroom with 3 beds. There is one bedroom and one bathroom on the main level, which is great for people who may have trouble with stairs, and three bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. The house has a fenced yard, which is nice especially if you’re traveling with kids. The house is near other homes but you feel like it’s secluded, there are lots of trees and space in between the homes, you have a ton of privacy. The highlight of the entire trip was definitely the pool. My kids were in the pool every chance they got. There were lots of pool toys and chairs. We really enjoyed the rolling fire pit as well. I was worried about the weather forecast calling for rain but we lucked out and it was dry the entire time. We walked to a little produce market that is super close to the house where we bought some fruit and delicious banana bread, they also have a few souvenirs for sale there- magnets, shot glasses, etc. We loved Warren Dunes Beach, which wasn’t crowded at all, it was so nice to spread out and have some space on the beach. We drove about ten minutes to spend a day in New Buffalo, such a cute town! Lots of shops and restaurants and it has such a beach town feel. In New Buffalo we tried Brewster’s restaurant and absolutely loved it, amazing Italian food and great, shady outdoor dining. We ended up going there twice because everyone loved it so much. We had a great trip and loved the area and house- especially the pool!

We extremely enjoyed our stay in Sawyer at this property. The house and pool were very clean and well maintained. Great proximity to Warren Sand Dunes, which has a very nice and big beach, and a nice central location to a lot of other things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Girls weekend trip. Property was very nice. A few of us thought the house wasn't the cleanest. I thought it was fine. Terrible cell service was the biggest issue.

We had a great time hiking and walking around without being around anyone else. the front and back yard was great to have with an active six year old. Kitchen has everything you need. Beds and bedding are comfy. Check in was a breeze, check out instructions are clear and to the point. Nothing too tedious. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Cute little house clean and quiet. Despite the disappointment of the heated pool being broken upon our arrival, we made the most of our weekend away and had a nice time.

Cute home that was a perfect escape for the kids to swim. Plenty of swim toys available. Beach access was about a 15 min walk, which was a nice surprise! We would stay again.

The pool and back deck of this property is really nice! I wish there was a picture of the deck and table in the listing because we spent so much time outside! The upstairs of the home is a bit outdated but comfortable. The WiFi was spotty, so downloading content prior to staying is key and it was a little difficult to work remotely. The management company was quick and responsive when we had an issue with one of the A/C units. Thank you!

This was a great spot to visit with the kids. The pool was great and the beach was a short walk or bike ride away. Plenty of space for family to spread out. We had a great week!

Nice house, met all of our needs during a birthday weekend trip!

Our class of ‘87 absolutely loved this little cottage! Adorable and quaint, with all the amenities! Heated pool was a bonus, as it was a chilly weekend in September! We enjoyed wine tasting and shopping. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the home when visiting local wineries and was nice to hike to the beach near Warren Dunes State Park.

This place is ideal if your main priority is having a private pool as it is very peaceful and scenic with the trees and backyard. The pictures of the house are accurate but with an old house comes old musty/moldy smells that make you not want to be inside. Not much to do in Sawyer but good half way place to visit New Buffalo and St. Josephs/Benton Harbor. Owners made the process very easy and accomodating and communicate back quickly.

Good place to be with the family! Grandkids loved playing in the pool! Great location to the dunes and Lake Michigan, walking distance.

Our family loved this property! It was perfect for 3 families with children. Michigan weather can be unpredictable, but the heated pool really made our stay! We had plenty of room, very clean and the kitchen was well equip with everything we could think of! Our family is very active, and I just can’t say enough about the community! We took multiple walks, runs, and explored - such a cute area! There were deer nearby out front and back, which was fun to watch! We also visited the local brewery, wineries, and farmers markets...all very relaxing and family friendly! Looking forward to heading back to Sawyer in the near future!

Took the extended family (sister, BIL, cousins, mom, my kids, husband) to Sawyer for a week and this property was perfect. Plenty of sleeping and eating space for 9, kitchen well appointed (plates, utensils, etc.), and of course the pool was a huge hit with everyone at all ours, all ages, and is very well maintained. Loved the large deck, grill, screened in porch, and location has access to everything we wanted to do in the area, including walking to the Dunes or across the street to the vegetable stand.

Our trip to Michigan was great thanks to this adorable house. It delivered on everything. Well kept, clean, and quiet. Very good for relaxing and star gazing at night. Highly recommended.

We rented this home for a get together for a group of friends and it was perfect! Just enough space and the extra dining area was great for all of us to gather to eat. Little updates in the home were appreciated! It's near lots of wineries and some cute, little downtown areas. Highly recommend!
