La ubicación, limpieza.

Es igual a las fotos. En mi caso la habitación era el único recinto del segundo piso, teníamos de manera privada una terraza con una vista preciosa de todo el pueblo. Todo estaba muy limpio, ordenado, agua caliente y fría en la ducha, el Sr. Nicolás fue muy amable y diligente, la casa está a pocas cuadras de la plaza, no se siente el ruido de bares y negocios de la plaza. Hay una cocina grande con muchos utensilios, se comparte con los demás huéspedes.

Algo que no depende del hospedaje, ni del dueño del lugar es que en todo el pueblo se siente fuerte la campana de la basílica a las 5-6 am y me despertaba.

Excelente servicio, cumplió con mis expectativas.

Lovely terrace looking out over the town alongside a little double room and en-suite.

Can hear the church bells (though this is the same most places in Jardín) and the main indoor space wasn’t somewhere we’d sit and chill. Could do with a chair or two on the terrace.

Really good, calm location in Jardin. Just 5 minutes walk to central plaza. We had a private room, bathroom and even balcony - great view over the village and mountains around. The owner was very kind and helpful.

Shared living room is not very warm/ cosy.

Great location close to the main square, start of hikes and close to a laundry place. The private en suite room upstairs has a terrace with great views. The WiFi is good and the big kitchen is well stocked so we made breakfast everyday. Huge communal area and the balcony is great for sitting in the sun and people watching. Warm water in the shower (not hot).

I got an automated response when I booked which was a warm message giving me two numbers to contact. When I contacted the first number he just replied and told me to contact the other one. This wasn’t very helpful as it was an urgent message about the political unrest and whether it was affecting Jardin which we were due to travel to in an hour. The address on Google maps from booking.com is wrong! It takes you two blocks further. We contacted the other number and whilst he gave us the right address, we had to wait with heavy backpacks at the door until he arrived (only a few mins but we’d been walking with bags on for 15 minutes and it was dark). The host should say that you need to give them an arrival time so they can come and greet you. Washing machine not working and no coffee machine filters. Only blankets on the bed, no top sheet which was a bit strange.

It was very clean. We had the whole 3-bedroom apartment to ourselves so we had lots of space. The washing machine was free to use although drying our clothes proved more difficult. The kitchen was clean and tidy. It's a short downhill walk to the beautiful town square.

It was cold and dark in the flat and there was no heater. We were advised to wrap a quilt around our shoulders. Our flamboyant host was waiting at the wrong apartment when we arrived so we needed to wait at a cafe with our bags while he got to the right one. That sort of thing infuriates me, especially after many hours' driving from Bogotá. There's an exercise room with some equipment in that would be better converted to a dining area. The bedroom has one small window facing on to the hallway, so not terribly light.
