Great location for a stop over. Nice view and good kitchen facilities, for example a washing machine. Bedrooms cosy on first floor. Very spacious.

The apartment was huge with a beautiful view, heated floors and a large jacuzzi tub for 2 in the bathroom and a very functional kitchen. Nice trails close by to walk up for a fantastic view of the fiords. The owners were very accommodating, generous and super nice. We will stay there every time we visit our daughter.

This 2 floor apartment is huge with the most incredibly beautiful view! We were warmly greeted by Patricia and her husband with a plate of smoked salmon which was delicious.
There is a two person jet tub in the bathroom we hope to have time to try out on our next visit in 2 weeks. The radiant heat in the floors kept the temperature perfectly warm.
Right outside there is a very large private deck with comfortable table and chairs to enjoy your coffee with mountains, water and the quaint village below.

The apartment has a private deck with a lovely view.
The host is nice, his son gave us our tour and then we were treated to spectacular, homemade smoked salmon.
Location makes for a good base from which to explore this picturesque region.
We were there during the summer months, the bedrooms couldn't be made very dark (just Persian blinds).
Bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, something to be aware of if nocturnal visits are needed.

Friendly welcome when we arrived - very large house with a lot of space. very clean. very well equipped including a whirlpool. kitchen has everything. living room has large sofas. bedroom has large bed and very good heating. linens are included and in very good condition. extremely quiet. very close to the ferry and good hiking trails. private parking space. large private terrace

The apartment was sooooo amazing! We couldn’t even have dreamed of something better. The whirlpool, the view and we even got fresh salmon when we arrived! I wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were such nice people. 100% the best accommodation we had in all of Norway. I can’t recommend it enough!

An extremely friendly welcome by the hosts. We were even given a plate of smoked salmon as a welcome gift - the host´s specialty - very nice. The apartment was very well equipped and there was a lovely view over the surroundings from the large terrace.

We were happy with verything. Arek, Teresa and Grace are very kind owners. Hjelmeland is nice and small Norwegian town. I recommend it.

Super fabulous view, super clean. Very friendly and nice owners. We taste owner local amazing salmon. Definitely recommend this place. Morning and evening view is stunning. You have in the house everything what you need.

It was very clean and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and his daughter was super friendly when she showed us around the apartment.
It was the best apartment we had in Norway and we would be happy to come back in a few years :)
