This is our second time staying at this home. Everything was perfect. When we stay here if feels just like we at home.

We stayed for the Christmas holidays so that we could all be together in one place for Christmas morning. The house was very clean as well as the surroundings property. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook a holiday dinner. It was perfect and I would stay here again with my family. They loved it! Beautiful home!

We loved everything about it. It was comfortable In a good location to go to Hiawassee, Young Harris, Blairsville, and Hayesville and Blue Ridge. We watched the sunsets and the deer that visited near the shore behind the house. One suggestion for future renters: There are no bars for support in the showers.

The absolute perfect getaway destination for all ages. The bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms were immaculate. The kitchen is roomy enough for several people to work in at one time. Loved the separation of areas (3 stories) and the easy access to the lake. And just as described - unbelievably beautiful sunsets!!!! Michelle was super quick to respond to any questions and made the check-in/check-out process seamless. We hope to be back soon!

This property was everything we hoped it would be. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board on the lake every day. We cooked s'mores, enjoyed jumping off the dock, played lots of pool, slept soundly in the very comfortable beds, and enjoyed the smart TV in the living room at night. The house is situated in a quiet cove that made for a peaceful vacation. This place is a winner.

We have been renting lakefront homes on Lake Chatuge and Nottely for the last ten years. This is by far the best property we have ever rented. The house was absolutely beautiful with a perfect layout for vacation. Bathroom showers were like something you see on HGTV - stunning! Neighborhood felt very private. Driveway and carport provided plenty of parking and house was easy to access and very convenient to town. We spent lots of time swimming off the dock. Water was clean and clear. The carpet on the dock was really nice because didn’t have to worry about boards being hot or someone getting a splinter. Kayaks, pool table, corn hole provided lots of entertainment. Deck seating was plentiful and provided the perfect spot to watch the sunset. This place had everything! We are already looking to book here again next year. During our week stay, there were several tremendous issues. Entering the house, we found huge cockroaches dead on the kitchen & bathroom floor. I’m guessing the homeowners failed to properly clean the house before our arrival. The grass in the back yard was grown high, and not well kept. After our vacation was almost over, someone came in and finally mowed. The dock was infested with spiders and different kinds of bugs. The water around the dock had mosquitoes, gnats, and algae all over it. It made it hard to enjoy the water. There was trash left over from the previous occupants when we arrived, which emitted a foul odor. We had no where to place our own garbage. No one came to collect the trash the entire week we were there. The beds were hard as rocks, and smelled like urine. It made it difficult to sleep at night. Some nights, after eating out, we would return to find that things would be moved around inside the house. We believe someone may have entered the home while we were gone. A man kept coming up during our vacation, and asked to use the dock; which we refused. He was always intoxicated. Several large pieces of glass found in the gravel driveway. The homeowners were also extremely strange. They came early before our checkout time, which held us up. The homeowners were an elderly bald man and his wife, and both were extremely rude. We overheard the old man cussing at his wife, and making inappropriate comments. Overall, we left with a bad experience.

This home/location helped make this one of our best family vacations ever! The layout was perfect for our family. The complimentary amenities gave our adult children enough extra outdoor activities to keep them entertained outside when we weren’t hiking the beautiful trails. I highly recommend this home!

Although the weather was rainy and cool, we still enjoyed our stay. We were able to get out on the lake in between rain showers. Having kayaks available is great! The amenities are excellent.

Great Lake house with lots of room, great views, and toys for the family. Well stocked kitchen, good beds, lovely deck. We enjoyed the kayaks and the paddle boat. We also rented a boat for two days. We will return

The property is better in person than the pictures! Lots of space in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Beautiful deck for watching the sunsets, which were gorgeous nearly every night we were there. We brought our boat and enjoyed having it right at the house tied up to the dock. My kids loved the paddle boat. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, mugs, dish soap, and ziplock bags. Location is great. Less than 10 minutes to large grocery store and restaurants, nail salon (if you have a rainy day!), etc. and short drive to several beautiful waterfalls and hikes, as well as zip lining and horseback riding. Have absolutely no complaints! Owner was extremely responsive to all of my questions leading up to our trip. We will be back! For those bringing a boat, we launched our boat and stored our trailer at the marina just a few minutes from the property, which was very convenient.

Just spent a week here with family. What a great house and location. The house is clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. A great firepit for evening get togethers. Great communication with owner Michelle. Restaurants and lake activities nearby. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a lakefront vacation home.

This was our second time for renting from Michelle. Our experience was so awesome that we've already booked a future trip with her. The check in/check out process was seamless, the lake house was beautiful with lots of amenties and beautifully decorated both times (fall & Christmas), location was great and convenient to everything, lake/mountain view was gorgeous; a great family environment. If you're looking for a nice, inviting, quite, relaxing place to stay with a surreal view and awesome host that respond very quickly, this is the place for you!!!

I loved all of it especially the location, view of the lake and accessibility. This is a class home to stay in I highly recommend it you will love it..

We enjoyed our time at this home. We had a party of six and we had plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen well appointed. Plenty of parking, even for our boat trailer. Beds were comfortable. We brought our boat, but also enjoyed the included paddle boat and kayaks (2 adult size, 2 kids size) in the cove. We loved the cove and Mountain View from the house.

I can't say enough good things about this house and the amenities. The location on the lake is beautiful. It's in a quiet cove with perfect sunset views. Parking is plentiful. The layout of the house is excellent for family gatherings and all of the rooms are spacious and well furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. Rainy day? No worries! Plenty to do in the house and on the deck and patio. Location is close to hiking, golf, mountain bike trails, and pickle ball courts. Would definitely recommend this house for families and multi couple vacations. We're already talking about coming back soon!

This property is perfect for a week on the lake. House is perfectly set up with a lot of outdoor living space, great back porch, dock and fire area to hang out. Bedrooms are very comfortable, especially the master. Great finished basement with area for kids or teens to hang out. Best part is the location on the lake. Great quiet cove and perfect place to bring your boat. I want to live here. Enjoy.

Great property on the lake and close to many great attractions.

1st Trip to Lake Chatuge. The property was perfect for us. Most Lake lots where I am from are very steep and the house is FAR away from the water. This lot is perfect. Easy walk to the dock. Plenty of room in the house. The neighborhood is very nice and not crowded with a lot of traffic. The water is around 8-10 ft off the end of the dock which is nice for swimming and getting a boat in and out. The Property owner was super easy to deal with. Everything worked in the house, a breeze checking in. Situated in a nice cove on the Lake.

We had an amazing time and the property was better than advertised. They have everything you could want in the house. Fully stocked house with everything you need. Kids loved the pool table and the kayaks. There are kayaks for the kids and for the adults along with a paddle boat. Fire pit was enjoyed by everyone and the view is amazing. Look forward to coming back as this will be our go to place in Hiawasee.

This house couldn’t have been any nicer and the location on the lake was great too. Nice cove right in the middle of the lake. Great communication from the owners and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Would not hesitate to rent again!!

This is one of the best rentals we have stayed in. We would stay here again. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of utensils, dishes, pots, pans, dishwasher pods, dishwashing soap and kitchen towels. There is a regular drip coffee maker and one for pods. You will need more paper towels if one roll is not enough for your stay. There is a supply of towels for the lake. The washing machine offers a quick wash cycle so you can wash them easily to freshen them for the next day. They left several laundry pods and dryer sheets. Every sink had hand soap. There was enough toilet paper for our 5 night stay (4 adults, 1 child). .There is good closet space with hangers. I appreciate owners like these that know king size beds are important. There are 3 king size and one queen. We enjoyed the kayaks provided with the rental. We rented a pontoon boat from The Ridges. It was convenient to reach by land or water.
